After a friend’s recommendation, we decided to take our new puppy to this practice. So happy we did! They have been so helpful and always available to answer any questions or concerns we have. Each vet we have seen has been very knowledgeable and Cody at the front is extremely nice, professional and has helped me a ton with the many puppy questions I have. Definitely recommend this practice!!

Our dog sees Dr. King. I trust Dr. King. He's very good with my dog. He's done two surgeries on my dog. He explains options and doesn't pressure us with treatments.

can't say enough about this caring staff. We just adopted a stray. He was alittle freaked out about being at the vet. They treated/looked at him carefully. He also bolted from me outside the hospital. The vet technicians helped to track him. Thankfully, he was found in a neighbor's yard and driven back to the hospital. We used to take our 2 labs there before they died and we didn't hesitate to take our 'Houdini' back for care.

Very good customer service from start to finish. They provide excellent care in a loving friendly environment for all your pet's needs.

My mom and I have been a client of Country Vet Hospital in Mt. Airy for almost 30 years. We have rescued numerous cats and taken the rescues and our pets there ... until today. This week after not standing for the continued rudeness of the staff I received a letter from the office manager canceling the care of not only my animals but my moms. When I asked for a call from the doctor I was instead called by the office manager telling me the doctor refused to call me back but had made the decision to cancel the care of all of our animals based on what the rude staff member had to say about me without reaching out to me for my side. After 30 years as a client who would do anything for my animals I was canceled with a distasteful letter and my records overnighted to me. I tell you this story so you don’t make the same mistake I did and choose the wrong caregiver for your pets. In the end, my pets deserve better and I will research a new vet to make sure they get it! Shame on you Country Vet!

Hands down best vet in area! Been taking my pets here since I was a little girl and no one else compares. I moved 30 minutes away and still make the drive. Thank you for always loving my pets as if they were your own!

A quick shout out to all of the hard working vet techs at Country Vet! We have been going there for a number of years and they have always been great with our dogs (we have 4). All of our dogs especially love Candice. They run to her when they see her! She and the other techs there treat the dogs as if they were their own and give them lots of love and care. I know their workload has increased with all of the COVID precautions, and they still greet the pups with a smile. Thank you for all of your hard work!!

This was my first visit with this Office. I could not me MORE happy with the Vet and the Staff. They are a pleasure to talk too...and they didn't hang up on me!! (THAT IS AMAZING!!) They actually where very nice and NOT rude!! This professional business are keepers!!! The last Vets should be ashamed of themselves with how they treat there clients! ALL RECEPTIONIST should be fired!!! I work in the public eye and if I treated clients like they treated me, I would be fired on the spot!!! Thanks so much ! I've been taking my Dobes to Country Vets since I got them 9 years ago. The care and attention they receive is unmatched. The entire staff is wonderful! They are very accommodating and usually fit you in for an appointment same day. I highly recommend this practice!

A very caring group of people. I have had the most experience with Dr. King, he is kind and realistic, a pleasure even through sad times.

I have been taking my cats to Country Vet since moving to Mount Airy in July of 2015 and have always been pleased. From time to time I would ask them to trim my cat's back claws and it was always done as complimentary along with whatever other reason I had them there for. This past Friday I had one of my cats in for a blood pressure check, a blood draw & subq fluids (not cheap?). I had also asked for a claw trim and was most surprised to see that they charged me $25.75! I still think they are worth 5 stars but I was quite taken aback by the huge fee for a claw trim.

Great service, great hours, super efficient and the dr's are really wonderful. The techs are just as wonderful!

My dog had her annual appointment yesterday, and this was the first time we did it carside. It went very smoothly, and very effectively.

I had my first experience yesterday with the Country Vet, sitting in the car, while the techs took my goldie in to see Dr. King. The process was smooth but strange not going in for the appointment. Candace and Emily were awesome. They’re so good all the time. Dr. King is wonderful! Explains everything on a layman’s level and never makes you feel like you can’t call him if you have any questions. I’ve been going to the Country Vet for 18 years and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else! They’re the best!!!
