We just moved to Middletown and I found this vet online they are the best! As soon as you walk in they treat your pet like it’s their own! I’m a person who likes to ask a lot of question and the vet did not disappoint he answered all my questions and showed so much love to my pups! ❤️

I was looking for a new Veterinary and after visiting this establishment I have found one. The staff was very friendly and they got me in and out quickly and with two puppies that is what you want to happen.

Vet was very helpful and even gave free food and flea medicine for my rescued stray kitten!

By far the best experience we have EVER had at a vet. Dr Mike is the chihuahua whisperer. I highly recommend. Made us all feel welcome and safe. The clinic is clean and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.

I like this vet. I take my dog there and I will always take her there. The people there is nice. And they always try to work with me bout things.I am glad that I have found a very good vet for my dog. I would give them a 10 star or more if I could. Dr.Owen is the best vet I’ve ever dealt with. He was really kind and professional. My little babygirl was sick and he squeezed her right in, took amazing care of her. She’s feeling back to herself. ❤️

Our little girl, Abby (15), collapsed in the middle of the night. We called Dr Owen at 8am on a Sunday morning and he met us at the office. He took his time to examine her and give us his thoughts on what was going on with her. He gave her some medication to make her feel better and help her get through the next few days as we see if her condition will improve. The next day he called us to check on Abby and suggested an appointment to run a few tests. We met later in the day again to review her progress and get the tests done. Dr Owen again spent quality time with us to explain the possibities and to make sure we understand everything. We are grateful for Dr Owen's time and his very welcoming, friendly staff.

Dr.Bauk is one of the Best vets I know.He explained in details about what is going on with your pet.Hes a great man and the staff is so nice.

Under new ownership, Dr. Owen is amazing! He worked with us to take care of our pitty when he got into a fight with his brother ????. His experience as an emergency vet is definitely a bonus in these situations for sure. I'm excited for the future of Middletown Veterinary Clinic! ????

I took all three of my sweet dachshunds Oliver three Katie two Abby is 15 years old to Dr Owen I was really worried about leaving her there for an ultrasound the staff we're all so kind so gentle ,I love the way Dr Owen explains things to understand them completely. I did not feel rushed at all. I am looking forward to continue to build a relationship with that practice. I also got to meet his wife, she was wonderful and sweet and very easy to talk to.

I was very excited to try Middletown Vet due to the good reviews. However, my experience was less than exceptional. Everything was fine until they put my 6 month old German Sheppard into a choke hold because he still play bites. Then when I went to go pick him up, he was sitting in his own feces. 0/10 would not recommend.

Gave heartful care and interest to a cat that wasn't cooperative

Took our puppy there for his first visit after adoption. He was never weighed and did not have temperature taken. There was no offer to cut his ,much needed, nails. Nothing. Vet gave our puppy vaccines that were not even core vaccines or necessary without any explanation. We were given pills for puppy's non-stop diarrhea without a label. When I called to ask what pill was no one knew, there were no notes. Had to wait until next day for stool sample results even though it was said they run them in-house and I had to call and ask for the results. The bill was completely outrageous. After we followed up with a well known vet office, they couldn't believe our bill nor the lack of care we received along with giving our puppy unneeded vaccines. I do not recommend this place.

I took my kitten in after she ate a piece of yarn. (Very bad for cats). The doc saw her immediately, his concern was palatable. He did an X-ray and he scheduled her for surgery the next morning. He wanted me to call if there was any change in her behavior. Later that night things improved. She avoided surgery and the doc was as thrilled as I was. That’s good medicine!

Great vet. After being told they were booked, the receptionist called me back and fit me in to the schedule. I am used to vet bills being outrageously high, and was very happy when the bill was half of what I expected.

Dr Bauk is a great doctor, although he's not naturally a "hand holder," he will be honest and sincere about his diagnoses. He keeps up to date on the latest information which is important to me He also taught most of the veterinarians in Frederick County! He and his very friendly staff have served our family very well over the five years we have lived in Middletown.

Very knowledgeable and very careful in treating pets. I always leave their office knowing my dog got the best care. Thank you middletown veterinary!!
