He just needed a quick vaccine. Staff came out to my car, picked him up and brought him out. Easy. Generally they are expensive.

Savanah is the best animal hospital around. It's truly a 5-star experience, but you really feel that with their pricing (only downside). There are places locally that charge less than half of what a procedure would cost here, but their care is really worth it. If you're looking to get something major done, I would do it here, but if it's something small I would shop around.

Not great at late night emergencies. The Dr/s on staff didn't have the calm demeanor one would expect when you have a crisis with your pet. Thankfully they were very helpful with giving me the equipment I needed to make the 3hr trip back home to DC to visit my primary, emergency vet at Friendship Animal Hospital. Having a second home in RB (living in DC full time), I was staying in RB for 4 weeks and unfortunately during that time, I had to make a really hard decision of putting down my beautiful 3.5yrold Ibizan Hound due to seizures. That day was so hard; one of the hardest days of my life. The medial staff and specially the doctor who helped with Lucian's (my Ibizan Hound) passing over the rainbow bridge was absolutely incredible. I believe her name was Dr. A Hares; she was so patient and so kind. Walked through every step of what the process was going to be and made sure we understand what to expect. So a BIG thank you again to her and her team. I would highly recommend Savannah for any and all pet needs. (just be aware of late night)

They were always over priced. Charged $18 for a complimentary nail clip, that I didn't ask for.... ($18 is not complimentary is it?!). Charged $52 for an antibiotic. Complained when I asked for a prescription instead. It was only $2 at Walmart. Now that they no longer provide emergency services, I wouldn't use them.

Would never recommend this place! I’ve been taking my dog there for two years and spent thousands of dollars there. My dog has been seen the last couple months for seizures. He had a bad one today and came out paralyzed. I called them at 7:30 pm to ask if they would euthanize him cause he was moaning in pain. They said they wouldn’t see him cause they closed in a half hour. I could have been there in 15 minutes. No compassion for our family. Told us to drive 40 minutes to the er in Salisbury.

They were a big help when my dog’s vet had not received her special food. They gave me her prescription and it was very easy to do.

I have been going to Savannah animal since 2018, and always pleased with service. When covid hit, it was challenging. In October of 2020, My dog needed surgery to remove stones in her bladder and all went well. Now, a year later, same thing and another surgery. Thanks to their operations manager, Matt, they were able to perform the surgery quickly. Feel so bad for all medical practices, covid has dramatically changed things for them. But I am happy with Savannah and would recommend them.

I have 2 golden retrievers under 1 and I cannot say enough about the vets who work here and their team members. Organized, efficient and most of all knowledgeable on taking care of my two dogs. Highly recommend to any pet owners!

Savannah Animal Hospital was amazing when my dog became sick while we were traveling and was able to work with our home vet to ensure that we received the medication we needed. THey were so kind and friendly and professional. We must have called half a dozen or more other vets in the area nin th none of whom were willing to help us but Savannah stepped up and we are so grateful to them and their Incredible staff.

Great place. Staff was very friendly and caring. They have an awesome lobby. You never really think about vet lobbies. Hotel lobbies, sure, but but vets? They took great care of our two cats even though our cats weren't very happy about being at the vet. Very professional staff all around. Currently, one owner is allowed to go in with your pet and you have to wear a mask. Standard stuff. Will be back again, highly recommend.

Friday evening, the staff had us come in and help our fur baby get a very thorough exam. Our dog is an older rescue dog, who does not do well with other animals and the staff was so accommodating. They went over her discharge instructions, medications, and even gave me a good contact number in case she didn’t improve. The practice was spotless, warm, inviting, and my dog did not want to leave. Thank you for everything! Sincerely, Jellybean ????

Could not have asked for a better experience. We were visiting from out of town and came in for an emergency visit, each member of the team was very kind and thorough… my dog had kennel cough as suspected and we were able to get the meds he needed and we were in and out of there in an hour. Thank you savannah animal hospital!

We took our dog in for a bloodwork appointment with Dr. Howard. A real appointment was scheduled out until January. Dr. HOWARD was able to spend some time checking, manipulating her leg did x-rays and gave us pain meds. Very caring and very helpful.

Our first time going was the best experience. The lady who attended us was very patient They treated Rocky very nicely and friendly. They always comforted him. They always called us to see if Rocky was ok after his surgery. We really appreciate it! Thank you very much savannah animal hospital!

During a time when vets are overworked and under staffed, Savannah Hospitial was more than accommodating and attentive to me and my sick dog. It was a rough day and I am very grateful to the staff there for all they did for me.

Savannah has done a great job with our sick kitty the last couple of weeks. We had to bring her back daily for a few days and they made the time, fit her in and accommodated our situation. Grateful for their commitment!

Right now I feel the need to post this. My experience with Savannah Animal Hospital today was horrific! I've been going to Savannah Animal Hospital for many years. At first, they were kind, efficient and very professional but lately, things have really changed. They've become like a processing factory. Today, I had to have my beloved pet Atlantis euthanized after a steady decline in health. I called Savannah about 7:20am and informed them of our decision. Atlantis didn't have much time left. They scheduled the procedure for 10:00am. I got there on time and when I called from the parking lot, the first thing they asked for was payment. I sat in the car with my heart pounding and my Atlantis yowling in pain. I sat and sat and sat until after 35 minutes I called again and expressed my disgust at their insensitivity. They finally came out. We went into the room and when the doctor entered, I was stunned by her cold insensitive approach. There was no emotion, compassion or empathy. I was clearly very emotional. She told me there were only two doctors there. Then she had the audacity to say I didn't have an appointment. When she started the process, she couldn't get the medicine to work. I'll never forget the last image of my poor Atlantis on the table being stuck and stuck like a rat in a biology class. I was horrified!! It was truly the worst experience of my life. I don't care if they didn't have enough staff. They continue to pack the schedule each day even though they are short staffed. Non essential appointments should be staggered so all patients get quality care. Pure greed has taken over this business. I will add that several years ago when I had to euthanize my cat Molly due to kidney failure, it was a totally different experience. A very very wonderful, compassionate staff made this very stressful, unpleasant task very very peaceful. The staff was reassuring, and very sensitive to my feelings. This experience was a horror from start to finish. I don't care if a doctor has been in the practice six months or thirty years if they are insensitive and stone cold, they have no business being doctors. I will spread the word on my awful experience and the sharp downhill slide of Savannah Animal Hospital.

I have been going here on and off over tha past 16 years. The quality care from my vet was always top notch. Unfortunately, after visiting after an extended period, she has a very poor attitude and refused to do some bloodwork I requested. Two months later my baby boy dropped dead on my birthday. I firmly and honestly believe she is at fault for my dogs life. I will never step foot into this establishment again!!

Had my pup in 2 years ago for an emergency. Told the attending vet that I was on a budget and paying cash so I needed to know the cost of each procedure as we went along, to make sure I had enough money to cover it. As we went along, she would tell me how much each procedure would be and give me an updated quote ON PAPER. When we got to the end, she realized that she had misquoted by over $300. I still have the paper with the quotes on it. Told them I didn’t have that much on me and they made me sign papers for billing. Of course I refused to pay more than I was quoted because I was told AFTER the procedure. Now, they are refusing to release my dogs records to a much better vet. MONEY HUNGRY
