The staff and Facility are Top notch Pet Lovers who take not only great care of these precious animals but the potential adopters like family. Cannot say enough about both the sincere professionalism and Caring provided here for all pets and people! Thank You Keep Up God's Work ????

I adopted a cute Chihuahua mix breed! The folks there at GT Brandywine ASPCA are wonderful caring people! They love the animals they care for! They answered all my questions and took their time with me while I got to spend time with the dog I adopted! Since adopting him, he's a love bug! He's recovering from neutured surgery quite nicely. He has a respiratory infection but got the antibiotics and he's resting and doing well! I HIGHLY recommend folks to adopt their next furbaby from this place! "Opt to adopt"! Now isnt that the truth?! Sure is! Thanks G.T. Brandywine for my new furbaby! ????????????????????????

Love our local Brandywine SPCA in Georgetown, DE. Great vet services. Great prices. Caring staff took special care to let me walk our very nervous baby into and out of the back before and after his surgery. Also, will be forever grateful to them for bringing Sarge into our lives 8 years ago.

I can't speak highly enough of this place! I really wish I could give them more than five stars. After my experience there I plan on trying to start donating to them as often as I can. They are more than deserving of it!

I am so impressed with this place. They were kind and attentive. The cakes me to let me know how my pup was doing, and they even carried her because she was being a big baby. I will definitely bring her back.

The staff was great! And very helpful. My dog was there to get fixed and now is showing signs of kennel cough.

It was a pleasant experience! Jen was so helpful and we appreciate her taking the time to help us get to know our sassy Haroldine! She told us about her daily routine and that our kitty needs to get out every morning and play with the laser pointer to get her exercise! We are forever grateful to get to know our girl before bringing her home to help transition her a lot easier!

My fiancé and I went to specifically see Ziva. We saw her in the yard as we pulled up. Watched her. Luckily we were early and got out of the car to see her. Staff took her out of the gate and was heading to a van. She was on her way to be on the news. Because we came to see her specifically, the staff happily switched out dogs and left Ziva to meet us. As you can see, she came home with us that day. She is the sweetest dog and she listens so well, it’s hard to believe we’re not quite 48 hours post shelter life. We love her, despite her managing to stretch her 8 month old self where she gets over 1/2 of a king size bed haha. She falls asleep touching both of us, I think it’s safe to say she loves us as much as we love her. Thank you BVSPCA for all the amazing work you do for the animals in your care.

Went for the spay and neuter clinic. Best for a low price but took forever to get our pet. Was standing outside for close to an hour when the lady had called and told us our baby was ready for pickup. If the pickup process was faster it would have gotten 5 but it took way too long.

Out of state visitor. I had been trying to get an appointment for an allergy shot since the beginning of August. Brandywine SPCA is a busy place. Because of Covid-19, I couldn't accompany my dog to see the vet but, she called me during the very thorough exam. We arrived at 12:30 (they opened at 12) and they had appointments and other walk-in clients. We were there for approximately 3 hours. Not bad considering it would have taken many more weeks to get an appointment.

Both of these fine felines came from the Georgetown campus. Black Lucy was with them for 2 years before she came home with me. I’m glad no one killed her - someone loved her enough in her past to feed her deli meat. While she still has her stand off disposition to other cats, she’s the first on my lap when I sit down. The Grey monster, someone adopted him and then returned him as a kitten. Lucky for me, as he’s a great house cat and catnip guard. Thank you for being there to take care of the stray and abandoned companion animals.

Been volunteering at Georgetown shelter for several months. Walking dogs, playing with them and helping with flights of dogs and cats flown in from various shelters that were in danger of being put to sleep. It has been one of the highlights of my life being able to do something to help these poor scared and loving animals. The staff and volunteers are very dedicated to saving them. I've done adoption events and it's truly amazing to see these animals find loving homes. I didn't think I could handle this and would feel too sad but the opposite has happened. I feel in a small way each dog I spend time with brings me joy that is a hard to put into words. If you have 4 hrs a month you can make a difference in their lives. Giving them a pet and taking them outside out of their kennel to walk and just be outside for a bit makes them so happy. You can do other things as well laundry washing bowls etc if you wanted to help. You can even work with the cats just spending time with the cats and kittens they love it. If your looking for a pet please don't buy one see these beautiful animals that have so much love to give by adopting them if you see the beautiful dogs and cats they have you'll never regret it. Please be prepared for the feeling of getting back so much more by helping these animals. It's rewarding and life changing experience.
