Dr. Hain and staff are great.

Staff was very warm and friendly. I was having a bit of an emergency with my house and had to be on the phone when I arrived. They were very understanding and patient. I love how they actually sat on the floor with my babies and loved on them while we were there.

Love dr Brooke. Staff is friendly and most of all pet friendly and attentive. Pricing is average. Due to covid. Have not yet been inside

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team of loving, caring professionals at Compassion. Our 7 month Bernese has been seeing Dr. Hain since we brought her home and she is a phenomenal veterinary doctor. Today was the first day I was able to come into the clinic since COVID restrictions were slightly lifted and watching Dr. Hain with our Berner just solidified what I already assumed: Dr. Hain spoke directly to Coda, gave her so much positive attention, and then thanked *ME* for the opportunity to get love from our pup. If you're in the Frederick area and are on the lookout for a vet clinic, look no further! ????

Outstanding and caring service. I drive to Urbana from Bethesda because of the excellent drs here. Dr Hain has treated my Golden for 10 years. She is outstanding in ways I cant begin to enumerate. Highly recommend Compassion—and i have to my dog-owning friends!!

Everyone is so helpful and kind at this vet. They give me a lot of advice and are very patient with my endless questions. Even through the pandemic, I’ve felt supported And cared for. I really trust their opinion when it comes to my dogs

Dr Shell is so kind. She really and truly has gone above and beyond to help our baby boy Muzzy. He is a 15 yr old pit and he was recently diagnosed with LarPar. She is taking the time to help us with a plan for the rest of his life. It is a true blessing to have such a kind person as a veterinarian for our baby boy. Thank you Dr Shell.

Locally own pet care vet hospital. Caring staff

Vet closest to my house isn't taking new patients so I had to look around for a good vet for our new puppy. Received so many recommendations for this place I decided to try -- so far it's been great! Never have to wait more than a few minutes, and perhaps most importantly my puppy still LOVES coming here.

Great Veterinarian Hospital, but even better Doctors! Dr. Brooke is a very caring professional that goes beyond when necessary for her furry patients!

Great Vets and staff ! I drive from Middletown to have my cat seen by them. Costs for apts, medication, etc. are very reasonable and they are good at telling you how much it will be before hand, but if recieving a quote for pet surgery they will provide a minimum to maximum amount, be mindful that the cost listed on the quote will be the maximum amount that they will charge.

Dr. Brooke, Jenn & all the staff here are so amazing. I don't think there's many vets I've met that care so much about their patients. They've even called me after hours just to talk about a potential emergency. Look no further these guys are actually the best. Will not go anywhere else again.

Every single person here is amazing, hands down. Not only are they patient with our pets, but also with us since we are overbearing, helicopter pet parents. 3out of our 4 pets are rescues with Rough pasts and the staff here knows exactly how to handle their needs. We appreciate how well they’ve taken care of all of our pets. 10/10 will always recommend!

This veterinary clinic is the a gem and the best place in Urbana. They only cared for our dog for the last year of her life, but it was the best, most loving care she ever received. All the staff and Drs truly care about your pet, and every decision is made with compassion. Everyone is genuinely a good person, unlike other local clinics. When we get our next dog, they will spend their life under this clinics care.

They definitely live up to their name. I've never had a vet so available for questions. We started seeing Dr. Hain because I got a new rescue pup and I was concerned about walking dandruff. She did not do a skin scrape (that I requested) because she didn't think it was necessary from visual inspection, which I deeply appreciate because who wants to pay for unnecessary interventions? I emailed a question about parasite control and she called me leaving a thorough explanation. When he revealed behavior issues a month later and I requested treatment, she called me to discuss the problem and we came to a solution and treatment (WITHOUT another office exam/call fee.) Most offices will nickel and dime (or even gouge) you to death for every little thing. This office is a breath of fresh air.

I recently moved to Frederick and I have been shopping around for a vet to care for my two dogs. I selected Companion for its high ratings, even though I was apprehensive of its location because it seems pricy, but my puppy needed immediate attention so I decided to schedule a visit. The service was amazing! They observed every COVID-19 precautionary measure to keep us safe. The vet was amazing too! She took the time to explain the reason for her diagnostic, symptoms to watch out for and next steps. When they were done with my puppy, they brought her out to my car, gave us the prescription with instructions and answered all our questions. The bill was sent via email to avoid contact. When I opened the email, to my surprise the bill was very reasonable! Definitely taking my dogs back here again. Thank you ????
