One kitten $155, Two kitten $300. They don't give just one. How you can "rescue" them with the rule.

You definitely have to fit a mold in order to be approved. Staff treated me as though I was an inconvenience. Even after completing an application (2x in a month), they re-visited my answers as though they thought I hadn't been honest. There was much confusion about the pup; information provided by the volunteers turned out to be in conflict with the write-up online. The volunteer made assumptions about my situation and even tried to steer me away from that particular dog. The line of questioning appeared to show a prejudice toward my veterinarian of 30 years. Very unprofessional and unjustifiably meddlesome.

We adopted a mother and her puppy there. The staff was extremely helpful and provided lots of information to help make the transition go smoothly. Highly recommended!

This place does an amazing job of finding homes for cats, dogs and any creatures they can accommodate... true animal lovers!!!

I had such a great experience here - their adoption process was much less complicated than other rescues, and the staff still made an effort to match me with the perfect dog. Bringing my dog back to see the vet and get her second round of vaccines was also seamless. Can't recommend them enough!!

Our family had a positive experience with Small Miracles Rescue. They took exceptional care of little Nina, and were courteous, and prompt with communication and the application process. I feel blessed we were chosen to provide this little one with the life, quality of care and love, this little one deserves. Our family vet even commented positively on the level of care provided based on the medical documentation provided by the rescue. I wish I lived closer so that I could assist with volunteer efforts. Volunteers are what make these rescues work efficiently & smoothly, and they are often short staffed. It takes a village! Be kind, be patient if the process is slower than anticipated, these are qualities that make for good pet owners too!

DO NOT ADOPT FROM HERE!!! Small Miracles...HUGE mistake. We adopted our puppy from here three months ago. I trusted we were receiving a healthy, loved and supported animal. What we got was a puppy so damaged by wherever she came from, her adjustment to us has been all but impossible. Sadly, our dog has some sort of PTSD. We are doing all we can to help her, but we are not equipped to meet her needs. I wish this agency had been honest with us from the start. ???? When I reached out for help, the owner did nothing to help me. I even asked about returning the dog for an exchange, discounted purchase, something - I was refused. There are other agencies such as BARCS or the SPCA that adopt out reliably and work with families that need support. Small Miracles is the puppy mill of adoption agencies! Do yourself and your family a favor and don't go here!

Right before I had almost given up on finding a small dog for me and my 3 year old Maltese mix, I saw Cinnamon❤️ A long hair chihuahua 3 year old boy! I went over as soon as I could with my Pippa to check him out. Melissa and Ildiko were clearly working nonstop, but took the time to help and see how our meet and greet went! Cinnamon, now Finn, was a sweet and shy, but a real good sport, considering he was wearing a cone from a neuter the day before! Pippa and I agreed, he would be a great housemate for us. Welcome into our home Finn, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!????❤️ Pippa and Diane P.

It was desperate experience with this shelter, when we arrived, owner was not sure what to do, asking us if we have appointment, served a lady first who was behind us. Although Maria is the one who sent us email to meet the kitten, we responded and given the time to arriving. Then staff explained we have to get the pair, then after 30 minutes say no to us as we don't have cat before.

Love small miracles!! Absolutely fell in love with my cat Stitch when i saw his picture on pet finder. The adoption process went so smooth and they sent me home with all of his wet and dry food so i could easily transition him to different food. Wasn't sure how he would adapt to having a dog friend but they've grown so close in just a week. So happy i could open my home to him!!

Pompous and rude! My family fell in love with a puppy being fostered in our neighborhood. This was a great opportunity for my childeren to get to know this dog and really see what having a puppy meant. The puppy was obviously very comfortable around us and fit in well in our little community filled with kids. No anxiety and blended right in like he truly belonged. Our dog of 17 years passed away one year ago. So we were ready to adopt but unsure how my daughter would respond. Our neighborhood recommended us. Previous Health history verified by vet records. The individual processing applications didn't agree with the course of act recommended by our vet so we were denied. If a vet dose not follow her ideas of good care then families are deemed undeserving. We were not only denied but treated rudely. We received frequent , short, late night, poorly written emails. Several emails were asking for information already provided in application. Bottom line: they made us feel less then Heart broken and were not kind. They lost the opportunity for this dog to have a loving home and most likely lost a foter home for future animals.

Small miracles is a true blessing. The staff are passionate, thoughtful and kind. Kiki is the second kitten we've adopted. The animals are well looked after, by people who love what they do. Having read a negative review suggesting race, I felt the need to state our family, and the numerous families we've interacted with at the shelter have nothing but positive things to say. If we had a larger home, we'd certainly adopt here. This place saves animals...and we are so very grateful.

My wife and I adopted our first dog from here! Great service and lots of animals to choose from. Some need a little more TLC and training than others but our pupper hasn't needed much at all. Love the fact they are a no kill shelter too!Definitely recommend to others.

A very nice rescue for both cats and dogs. We had a pup all picked out but some family health issues forced us to back out. Once past them we will go back for another furry family member.

We have adopted two of our three cats from this place. They support owners with shots at reasonable cost, give advice for multiple animal owners and take good care of the animals in their care. The pandemic was difficult for these places but they have managed to survive. I give through my employers paycheck-to-charity arrangement. They are a charity on their list.

An adoption 1760 miles in the making! I had been looking for some time for a second Australian Cattle Dog to add to my family as a buddy for my 7 year old. From the application process to actually driving from Orlando to Ellicot (and back again) both the staff and my new puppy’s foster Mom took care of everything. They really put a lot of love into these animals and it shows - Onyx is such a sweet, wonderful dog and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have adopted him. Not only was he vetted, neutered, and ready to go, we also got helpful samples of his food, flea meds, and his favorite toy to help on the long drive home. I would HIGHLY recommend this rescue!
