Dr Henry and staff are a-one. Care and follow up are very reassuring.

Have been going here for years, friendly staff and awesome Doctors. The groomer is wonderful.

They have been great with our dogs and our cat. Our GSD had gotten his ear ripped off in a dog attack. They took such good care of him with his aftercare. He had a few sutures left in his ear They couldn't get out cause well typical GSD lol but they were nice about it when I called all upset. Not only do they care about the animals but the pet owners as well.

Our vet is great they treat the animals awesome

For our first visit I feel there was a lack of communication to prepare for the visit. It seemed very clinical and not at all personal. Dog was examined, given her shots, and is still alive so minimum requirements met.

These guys were excellent. I went there for an emergency, and they were able to accommodate us very quickly. Compared to other pet places I've been to, this one has treated them the fastest, but still has done everything they are supposed to to fix whatever the problem happens to be. The wait was like half an hour, but the treatment time was done in ten or so minutes and they came back out with my dog right after, unlike other pet places where I usually wait two to six hours just to pick up my pet again after drop-off. Definitely recommend going here if you're local or looking for a good price.

I take my dogs to Forrest Animal Hospital for their yearly check up, shots, medical needs, prescriptions, and love. A top notch facility in caring for animals, pets and your furry loved ones. The staff is truly "Top Notch."

Wonderful staff. caring and respectful. They treat ours like thier own. gave us all the time we needed to lay our Elder kitty to rest. they sent a card after the passing. Alway recommend. Such love in service they provide.

To begin, this place was extremely attentive to seeing our dog on an emergency basis. They got us in the same day that we called, which was greatly appreciated. That is about the only good thing we can say about this place. After being told our dog needed two shots and they would be right back to take him, I waited, no exaggeration, AN HOUR. I eventually left the room and went up to the front of the room to ask the ladies at the front desk if the vet had possibly forgotten about us. They asked for the dogs name and then one of them just walked away. Didn’t say anything to me and then began to continue on their previous conversation that I had clearly interrupted. I said “should I just go back to wait in the room?” She looked at me and rudely said, “yeah.” That’s how they responded to me and my dog waiting in a room for a freaking HOUR for a shot. Don’t get me wrong, I understand a lot of people are busy. It’s Covid and a lot of places are understaffed. I understand, honestly. But at the very least, they could have apologized for the wait and then gone to find the vet or someone who could administer the shot. Waiting at the vet for a sick dog on an emergency visit shouldn’t take in total, 2 hours. The vet also said they would call “tomorrow” to check in on our dog and talk about how the medication was affecting him. The call never came. In conclusion, if you’re thinking about taking your pets here, I would highly advise against it. The front desk staff was rude beyond belief and our dog is still sick. We ended up going to a different vet.

It's a great space to take your animals and go to the veterinarian

All of the staff is very sweet and amazing with the fur babies they all made her feel very at ease shes a very hyper and shy dog but not here they make her feel at home. Very helpful if you have trouble understanding something they take the time to explain

I've always gone there for my pets for over 2 decades. Compassionate care and common sense solutions. Customer service is also great!

Probably one of the nicest vet clinics in the Dover area. The vets and techs are friendly and helpful, and they've been great to all our pets. The only downside is the cost of meds. It feels a little like they up-sell prescriptions.

We have been coming to this vet for 3 years now, with 4 pets, and despite the half an hour drive from our house, we refuse to anywhere else! We tell everyone looking for a vet to come here. Dr. LaForte got us through the extensive and painful process of curing our rescue dog of heartworms, and gone above and beyond to show that she cares immensely about the health of our animals. We are also working with Dr. Gaines, now that we have cats, and I cannot gush enough about this place. I feel confident that my pets are in good hands.

My family and I have been coming here for over 15 years. We have several dogs and we bring all of them to this office. Dr Gaines is wonderful. Our dogs love her. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. They treat you with respect and are happy to explain anything you don’t understand and are willing to answer all questions. I recommend Forest Avenue to anyone who ask about a good vet!!

Awesome customer service and they care about the animals they are servicing, as if they are their own. That means alot! They also handle all animals with tender love and care!
