Dr peck has HORRIBLE bed side manner ! If I could give this vet negative stars I would . He was very short did not even introduce him self to me even tho this was my dogs first visit with him, dr. Peck was very aggressive when trying to trim my dogs nails after i warned him he is a handful when trying to trim his nails (he’s a rescue and doesn’t like having his feet touched) so they took him to the back and when i say i was almost in tears I’m not even over exaggerating because my dog was screaming he sounded like he was in so much pain i had to go tell them that was enough and i can trim his nails at home. then to top it all off, as I’m trying to check out his dog got loose in the office and got in my dogs face ! It was the vet trip from hell !!!!

I would not recommend this vet to even my worst enemy. (First and last time ever going here) Absolutely awful bedside manners, insanely unprofessional & incredibly aggressive with my dog. I have a large dog and he threw her up on the exam table (no vet has ever done that because of her weight and size) and restrained her with such disregard to her age. He could of severely injured her. He doesn’t look you in the eye to talk and he mumbles under his breathe. His techs were no better. I asked the tech to let me remove her from the table because she was whimpering and scared and she said “it’s almost over”. I am beyond infuriated. I will tell anyone that listens to NEVER take your pet there if you truly care about them. It’s a dark dingy hole in the wall shack. That doesn’t deserve any stars.

We have found Dr. Peck to be an excellent Veterinary diagnostician. He's amiable, very communicative and we would have no hesitation to avail ourselves of his services for the care of our four legged family members. High praise for him and his staff.

Horrible place took advantage of us. Our 20 yr old cat was sick we wanted to put him down Dr Peck convinced us not to. He told us to keep the cat with him so the dr kept our cat for 2 days and finally put him down then charged us over 600 dollars. He took advantage of our emotions over our cat and instead of doing what we requested putting the cat down he gave my nephew false hope and convinced us to hold out. He just wanted the money

At first, I liked Dr. Peck. He is arrogant as hell and lacks bedside manner, but he treated my dog well and the office is always quiet. The services are reasonably priced but they overcharge for medication. When I found an online pharmacy that brought the cost of my dog’s medication down $30 a month, Eastern Shore Animal Hospital spent 10 days ignoring faxes, phone calls, and requesting proof of this new cost before eventually refusing to approve the prescription because “you can just buy it from us!” Dr. Peck, you should be ashamed. Your greed has now lost our business entirely. You clearly knew from the beginning that you had no plans to allow us to shop elsewhere, but instead you decided to waste 10 days of my time. I am now left scrambling trying to resolve this before my dog runs out of his daily medication. In my scrambling, I spoke with two vet practices- they both genuinely felt my frustration and couldn’t believe this treatment. Both offices were questioning if this was even legal. I guess I understand why the office is always quiet.

For everyday care they are good. Need more specialized care you might need to look elsewhere.

They are all about the money, wont allow any online prescription orders to save yourself money even if they know your animals are in desperate need of medication that you cant afford from there over priced stuff. All they have to do is sign a paper saying "yes this animal needs this medicine under my proffesional diagnosis" in order for you to order it and they wont do it because there not making money. They dont care if your animal is perfectly healthy they will still charge u for medicine they dont need, give you false reports on dogs health so theg make money. All about the money and nothing good to say about THE VETS here

This is and incident that happened several years ago… My beautiful Old English Sheepdog was 5 years old at the time strong, healthy and vibrant. I scheduled him for a routine cleaning. At the time of drop off I specifically told the front desk if there are any other issues during the procedure to please call me before any other action was taken. I confirmed my contact number was correct at time of drop off and once again asked the the front desk and Dr. to contact me with any other issues... she rest ashored me she would and didn't forsee any issues because of his age . I was then called at the time of discharge so we left the house immediately to go pick up our fur baby. As we stood at front desk to pay we were presented with a larger bill...immediately I questioned the bill and was told that 2 teeth had to be pulled!!! I was in shock for several reasons and then proceeded to ask which teeth and why!?!! She replied that the teeth were "loose"??? The first tooth being in the lower left central quad and the other being directly in the FRONT of his LOWER mouth! My flawless beautiful 120 pound Pedegree now had a missing tooth directly in the front of his mouth because they claimed it was LOOSE??!!!! I was so irate and upset the tears just started falling ...I asked why I was not contacted before the extra procedures she gave me no response just a blank look on her face. At this point they had brought out Calvin. I then told her I will ONLY be paying for his cleaning I will NOT be paying for the extractions and to thank Dr Peck disfiguring our beautiful baby and that he is a monster!!! As we walked out and other onlookers were present I looked back and said " rest a sure we will never step foot in this place again!! ...Also Dr Peck never showed his face the entire time... Tragic experience !!

I was shocked at the negative reviews I read on here. Despite the fact that there are 4 vets that are a heartbeat away here on Kent Island I drive 45 minutes each way to Chestertowne. I found the price and service unbeatable. I also like spay now for the minor issues as excellent pricing and close to home. Major surgery at annapolis emergency EXCELLENT but bring a wheel barrel of cash

My fiance and I just rescued our pup and this was our first visit to this animal hospital. The male doctor we saw here seemed like he was agitated so we didn't feel comfortable asking the questions we had. It was not very personal like I am used to with my parents Vet in Virginia. Leaving my fiance says, wham bam thank you mam, and that's exactly how it felt here. :-( Who knows an awesome Vet near Church Hill? Why does google give a poor-fair rating? Fair is too good of a rating for this place.

When my new puppy broke her leg, I went to the emergency vet in Annapolis. Thye said it would be like $5,000 to fix or they could amputate ot for $1,000. I looked for somewhere else to go that was cost friendly and came across Dr. Peck. It was $700 to get her surgery and shot. They were really nice and informative; explained everything to me. I love it there.
