My sweet girl laying on her Momma. She came back to Alley Cat rescue a few times. She's one of those dominant kitties who does not like to share her home. Lol. For me she has been perfect. Carefree and loves humans. Because she had been returned a few times for not blending in, I got her for free. My best friend ☺️????

I just recently did business with them and it was horrible. A young lady named Rose is constantly harassing me due to a miscommunication between employees. I repeatedly asked to speak to someone over her because I nolonger wanted to communicate with her because of her rudeness. She point blank told me NO I had to speak with her. My children fell in love with these cats and because she developed a personal attachment to them we can't have them. She feels we aren't fit to care for them. I have worked with animals.for 7 years I'm more than capable. For her to place judgment on me and she has never met me is wrong.

I love it, I worked my summer there as an intern from my school program and I’ve been there the longest and I can say they tested us so well! Was there for more than a month and never had an issue super kind, gave us stuff to feel welcomed, everyone there hustle to safe these cats, it pains me to see some reviews who say the cats they adopt are very sick Or aren’t in good conditions etc. We have to keep in mind these cats come in super bad condition, I remember seeing these cats full of fleas and with ringworms and we would bathe them with A special shampoo and do it for weeks! There is only so much they can do to help these cats and they try their best, that is why some cats still may look sick because they can’t do miracles. People also complain why they are spayed or neutered and I used to be one of those people but when I was an intern I got to see how many cats would come everyday due to breeding and breeding and these cats suffer out there without homes, that is why I believe in Spaying them And neutering them is the best, I have 2 cats of my own before I started working there and the first thing I did I got them neutered there and my cats have been fine and playful ever since! 10/10 recommend ✨

I don't know why they are advertised as open. I've called and left voice-mails and still no word back. It finally took me going there to request help with a stray when I found out they haven't been open.

A year ago we went to look at a pair of black cats that they had. When we arrived we noticed that many of the kittens in their care were incredibly sick. We didn't want sick cats, but after seeing them and the overcrowded situation where they were being kept we knew that if we didn't take them they would probably die. Another couple was also there and came to the same conclusion. We went directly from the adoption to the emergency vet. One kitten was so sick we worried she wouldn't make it through her first night home with us. They put her on an IV and gave her meds then sent her home. We took the other cat to a different emergency vet the next day when he started crashing. They both had a bacterial infection, upper respiratory infection and intestinal parasites. Despite being told both kittens were around 6 months old our vet stated that the Male *might* have been 5 months and the female was no older than 3 months at the most, likely younger. They were horrified that she had already been spayed and her surgical scar was ulcerated from being improperly sutured. Neither would eat and had to be force fed for the first couple of weeks. It was a horrible experience. A year later and thousands of dollars in vet bills later we now have two (fairly) healthy cats. The female still has medical issues, but is doing better. In hindsight I am glad we came to this shelter and saved our cats from them, but I would never EVER recommend them.

They gave us vaccines and free neutering for the kitten we found outdoors. I gave a well deserved donation.

They are a friendly and helpful organization. I came to get two kittens and was just about to pay the adoption fee when another patron arrived and apparently she had already adopted them! There was a lack of communication between the weekday manager and the rest of the team on the weekend. Other than that mix-up my experience was great. Still went home with two lovely kittens who had just arrived with their foster mom.

We offered to foster kittens because Alley Cats put out a "desperate" call for help. We were handed two kittens three weeks ago, never signed any paperwork nor were given vet records, and never heard from the shelter again. No returned phone calls, returned emails, not even facebook messages. We got ghosted by Alley Cats and now have two kittens with an unknown medical history. Zero communication or support. Had to take the kittens to our own vet out of fear for the health and safety of our resident house cats.

I got my kitten here and I’m so I love with her! However, one of the staff members was completely unprofessional and didn’t something she should never do. She almost put the health and wellness of my kitten in danger. Would recommend other locations.

First time I saw it it was just a normal center just like the others. But, to my surprise it was wayyyy different. The cats weren't kept in cages and where allowed to roam freely. They had cat doors so that they could go upstairs or down stairs whenever they want. There was even a way to go outside.
