Always kind, helpful and store is clean

The best place to get cat litter. They have a refill station which cuts down on all of the plastic waste and packaging--- and costs less than new packages! Lots of treats and wet food selection.

I'm a new pet owner and they helped out a lot. One thing they didn't mention ordering online and picking up was cheaper for the same item.

Friendly staff, even during the hectic holidays. I went for a dog coat and the store was out of that size. Returned a week later and was happy to find the dog coats were restocked. Fyi, there is also a vet clinic and a dog washing area.

It was very clean well stocked and not too busy

My puppy always has a great time there when grooming, Chelsea is great and the other ladies are too the store itself is always clean and the staff are always readily willing to answer questions and give good recommendations on pet health and pet play products.

Erin the manager is amazing. I took my dog to get him groomed and after showing the groomer Chelsea a picture, telling her what I wanted etc I come back to a totally different dog. Way too short. I got exactly what I didn’t want. Erin was kind enough to refund me my money. At this point finding a groomer in Baltimore City seems hopeless.

Very clean, easy to find everything. Great clearance bin.

Update 11/2021: PetValue didnt make it through COVID so I tried this Petco's self wash. The process is similar to a self car wash with on nozzle that dispensed both water and soap. The place was a mess. Water filled the floor because of poor design and zero staff maintenance. There was dog hair everywhere floor tool tub. A hamper fill or dirty towel. The clean towels look dirty and had still alot of hair on them. The wash area would be a death trap for any person who is over 50 or old dogs who cant afford a slip or fall. I would certainly not recommend this place. The only working station was the station in the rear. I couldn't tell whether or not soap was coming out of the dispenser as well as conditioners so unless you're gonna pay $15 bring your own towels shampoo and conditioner i would say just wash your dog at home. Aisles were still cluttered and close. Initial post: Attended the grand opening on today this reaffirms that I am a Pet Valu preferred dog owner the store is not dog friendly in that the wash area and grooming areas are at the front door and I literally mean at the front door and other locations The Grooming area maybe at the front but it is sectioned-off the store was or felt crowded with items like the aisles were too in both width and length I don't know if I'll ever go back to this location with my pup staff were friendly I assume maybe their over attentiveness came off in a negative like I'm watching you kind of way.

Could be amazing but staff don't put stock away and clear isles. Makes it difficult to shop and review products behind big palates. I asked for help and man clerk said in the blah blah isle. Behind the palate maybe.

I hadn’t heard of the self wash for the dogs before. Really cool and will likely use it again.

Not the greatest selection in their aquatics department, but they staff is very friendly and helpful.

Petco at Canton is so convenient and dependable. They always have what I am looking for for my Cat children

My favorite place to shop (other than Target and Ulta). The staff is amazing, very knowledgeable, and respectful of their clientele. My dogs love going in — it’s like visiting Santa’s workshop. Their prices are great and the Canton location is without a doubt my favorite.

it was good to wash the dog while standing up. Water was warm, with good pressure. We brought our own shampoo and towels which was good as the clerk never gave us any. The dryer was warm and powerful

I was in the store today at 7:10 pm and they had a promotion if you purchased a particular items you received another item for free. However, the item was not placed near the signage. I asked the manager about the listed promotion, but she completely ignored me, and only acknowledged me after I called her four times (even though she was standing directly in front of me). When she finally acknowledged me she acted as if I were bothering her, and called out for someone else to help me. The young lady who came out to help had no idea how to assist me because she was not familiar with the new promotion. So, she went back to the manager who had initially refused to help me. When she finally came out of her office she explained to the young lady about the new promotion showing her where the free items were, and than in a scolding manner told me I should have brought the item up front if I wanted it. I told her maybe if it were placed by the promotional items, and the same information you told this young lady you called to help me you could have initially helped the CUSTOMER, and saved me the ten minutes I have now wasted.

We used your self service dog wash. We loved how easy and convenient it was to navigate your system. My dogs were happy and clean when we were done. However your staff was a little underwhelming. My puppy is a barker when she's excited. Your staff continued to give us dirty smug looks. Every customer that came in contact with our dogs loved them. They petted n played with them. We spent over a hundred dollars in your store. We will probably come again, but it will be at another location.

As of today I haven’t had an unpleasant visit at this place since I’ve been coming here. Just recently (as you see in my reviews) I had to get them to fix my doggie from an embarrassing experience with PetSmart in Dundalk. I had to rush and cut him before we left for a family vacation and book an appointment with Petco to fix what PetSmart messed up. But the moment I put him on the counter they love up on him to make him feel special. PetSmart act like they didn’t want to touch him. However, he was ok after I took him to our regular spot. This is why Petco never have openings because the service is what sells the business…unlike PetSmart who has opening same day ????????‍♀️????.

The dog shampoo girl Mrs. V. Doesn't belong. She has fears of cats did not do anything she had agreed ....not a good place to get your pets groomed. She is a biased unprofessional individual. She needs to be replaced

Really upset with our grooming service today. Even though it was repeatedly asked and noted in our doodles file, her really long eyelashes were cut super short today. Very saddening and upset. The first time this happened, it was just a little bit, but now the second time they are REALLY SHORT. Will not be using grooming there again.

I came here to use the self serve bathtubs and had to wait over 25 minutes at the counter before someone let me into the bath area. The lady who helped me was nice but didn’t tell me how anything works. The bath I was given had no shampoo and no dryer but they did not tell me that before I soaked my dog. Therefore, I paid to only have access to water. When I checked out and paid for my “water bath” for my dog I told the cashier about my experience. He apologized but then said I should have tried the other dryer. When I said there was an out of order sign on them he replied with “well it’s not actually out of order you should have tried it.” Very frustrating and a huge waste of money.

Good selction of dog food and always helpful service.

Only 2 kitties were there that were cordoned off and NO puppies. The variety of live animals was non-existent. Otherwise it was clean and didn't smell.

They deliver my cat food on time and I like their rewards program. Most importantly, they approved me for a Petco major credit card. Now, I can manage ALL my pet related costs from cat food to vet visits on that card. Love it!

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and answered all our questions about how to take care of our pet. The store is also well maintained and clean.
