Everyone at perry hall animal hospital is very friendly, caring and professional. Dr Miller is great. Very thorough and explained all that was done and why. She answered all of my questions

Both of my cats were sick with some GI thing within a 4 day span of time -- to say I was stressed is an understatement. When my second cat became sick, I called around to about 5 vets offices, including my usual vet, and no one could fit us in. PHAH was able to fit us in same day, without a significant wait when we arrived. When my cat was failing to thrive on day 2, Rachel fit me in again, AND around my work schedule! I have to highlight that Rachel (the crazy cat lady) was amazing! She really showed that she genuinely cared for my cat and wanted her to feel better. I'm so impressed with the care that my cat received, and she is back to her sassy, sweet self. THANK YOU!

Really difficult to reach them! They keep you waiting on the line more than 15 min! Happened not one time.

Horrible trying to pay your bill after pet visit, took 35 minutes waiting outside in the car with pet just to pay bill

They have a curb side service because of the COVID and it's really a thoughout process and works great. What they say holds true. I was told when I got there they would be out in a few minutes to get my cat and they were. Told me the Dr. would call me shortly and she did went over everything about his exam. answered all my questions and didn't rush me If I wanted to stay and talk about my cat I was free too. They called me just before they brought my cat back out to my truck and I didn't have to wait they called said they were on the way with him and bam there they were. This was my 1st time there and won't be my last. My cat has a new Pet Hospital to take care of him plus there closer to my home which I like. Great personal too.

I apologize for the long review/post but I want to make everyone aware of our latest experience with Perry Hall Animal Hospital. I understand that each client has instances unique to their own and up until recently, we were fine with the clinic. I just want to share what happened personally happened to us. If you’re thinking of taking your pet/s to Perry Hall Animal Hospital, don’t. Unless they make personnel changes with their front desk staff, specifically a lady named Rachel, you’re much better off seeking veterinary care with the many qualified hospitals and practices around the Baltimore area. After over a year of curbside appointments for our senior dog who was diagnosed with Cushing’s Disease, I was relieved to finally schedule an in-person appointment with our vet. Originally scheduled for Saturday, July 17, they asked to change my appointment to Tuesday, July 20, accommodate changes to our vet’s schedule. I agreed to the change with hesitation, knowing that we will be coming from Hampden on a week day during rush hour so there may be some traffic on our way to the appointment. The lady who changed my appointment told me it was fine and to just keep them posted for any changes. On the day of our appointment, I ended my workday early in order to get to Perry Hall by 5:30 p.m. Due to rush hour traffic that I previously mentioned and road closures, our GPS gave us an arrival time of 5:37 p.m. At 5:09 p.m., I called PHAH as a courtesy to let them know that we were on our way and may be a few minutes late due to the current road conditions. With a complete lack of empathy and understanding, Rachel notified us that our in-person appointment with Dr. Baer would be switched to a curbside appointment if we were late. I explained our situation of coming from the city during rush hour and that I made an in-person appointment to raise health concerns that I have been noticing on my 13 year old dog. She said she would ask the vet and after about a minute or so, she reiterated that our in-person appointment would switch to a curbside one if we were late. At this point, I expressed my frustration with the situation and said that we were doing our best to get there close to our appointment time and that I really needed to be in the exam room with the vet to better explain my dog’s condition. Rachel insisted that it wasn’t possible and threatened to hang up the phone. After my boyfriend explained that we have been taking our dog there for years (since 2016), have spent thousands of dollars in vet care, that we were traveling from the city to see a vet who knows our dog’s health history, she told us that if we were displeased, she suggested that we make an appointment with a different vet and hung up the phone. As someone who works in healthcare, I was baffled and in disbelief with her combative attitude and lack of professionalism. For someone who works with people and their pets who many consider family, how she handled the situation negatively impacted our relationship with PHAH. It made us feel that we were only a business transaction instead of patients who have been going to the practice for over five years. After the debacle, Dr. Baer called us to inform us that their policy states that clients who are over 10 minutes late for in-person appointments would be switched to curbside. I notified her that we would not be 10 minutes late and that Rachel never even mentioned the 10-minute policy. All she said that if we were late, our appointment would be switched. We arrived at 5:38 p.m., I called to check-in, Rachel answered the phone again, asking our parking spot for curbside service then hung up. Being under the 10-minute policy window, we were seen by the vet as originally planned. Our in-person appointment was fine, I paid for the services rendered and we left. The incident wasn’t acknowledged and brushed under the rug. No apologies have been issued. If you would like for you and your pets to be treated with care and compassion by all levels of staff, save yourself from the stress and go somewhere else.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Way over priced! They don’t listen to you just assume they will do all tests and will just bill you after without telling the price first! And then when they promised to do the last check for free , they will charge you!!!

I can't say enough good things about this veterinarian office. They love my doggo as much as I do and it shows. All medical issues, immunizations, medications, billing, etc are thoroughly explained in advance. Great communication. Thoughtful, kind, loving people. I'm grateful to have them care for my best friend

When my sweet kitty, Floyd, was having ear trouble Perry Hall squeezed him in the same day even tho I'd never been there before. My cat is pretty much the only family I have so he means the world to me. Doctor Breidenbaugh and the other employees were all very kind to me and couldn't stop remarking on what a wonderful little kitty I have. They seemed very thorough, and wanting to help. I had taken Floyd to another clinic and because he's an old guy they didn't seem to give him much attention. Perry Hall treated him like the special friend he truly is. The curbside service is pretty nice. You don't have to wait too long and if you're a big wimp like me, you can cry because they took your friend away and nobody can really see you're upset.

I have been taking my dog to PHAH since 2017 and I couldn't imagine taking him anywhere else. The staff/vets are so sweet and caring to my dog. Thanks so much :)

We called other vets and our normal vet was fully booked and would not be able to see our dog for a month. Our dog was in pain that day. I called a few vets who were also booked and then I called Perry Hall. They let us bring in our dog that same day. The fee was reasonable. They told us what could be done for more money but gave us the chance to decide to just go with the first cheaper line of defense to see if that worked for our dog. In 2 days our dog was up walking and doing better. Due to the Covid restrictions at that time, people waited in our cars and the techs came out to get our pets. From arriving to leaving we were seen in a timely fashion.

As always Dr. Miller and the staff were compassionate and caring to the point where they called the next day to see how my furbaby was doing. We always have a good experience at PHAH and I am glad we found them.

I have had animals at all different phases of their lives. The vet and the front-office staff were compassionate when it was the end of life, welcoming when we had a puppy, and gentle with dogs at mid-life. I have nothing but good things to say about how they treat the people and the pets. There are no surprises about pricing, either. They are up front. Good job, PHAH!

Our Burmese, Mr. Rogers, an undefeated Grand Champion, in every competition Best in Show, recently died at sixteen years and four months, no fault of PH Animal Hospital. Throughout his years under Dr. Klimovitz, he felt special and king of the cat mountain. Then again, there are our other cats treated there, and each was shown the same high regard and love as Mr. Rogers. Most recently our two youthful Burmese cats are unafraid of getting into the car and going to see Dr. Klimovitz and her staff. Every vet office should be so warm, knowledgeable and, ultimately, about the pet's needs. A hardy thank you from Mr. Rogers, Kelly, Isis, Ramses, Maud, another Grand, who finished second in the World Championships, Amerika, Oscar, and Felix.

I was looking for a new Vet for my rescue dog since I was dissatified with whom I was seeing. Even though I didnt get good news about my dog, I was extremely happy with the Vet and staff. Dr H. took a great deal of time explaining the condition and all my options. She provided me with information to take home to read. I was extremely happy with the service, care, and compassion she gave. One other thing I like about the practice is they are upfront with pricing before they even do anything so there are no surprises. I would give Dr H, Vet tech, and recepionist an A+. So happy I selected them for my dog's care.

I really like the wait in your car part. While I know that's just a covid thing, I'm sure my nervous dog, does better when I'm not there.

I truly have no words for how amazing EVERYONE here is. I called in fear for my senior mini schnauzer as he started having seizures out of nowhere, from my first interaction on our experience has been nothing short of perfect. This was our first time at Perry Hall Animal Hospital and I must say we are now clients for life. We were treated with such compassion and understanding that we felt as if we have been there forever, thank you again for your sincere concern for David and for doing everything possible to help us figure out what is going in with him
