We have a 16yr old cat, Yoshi. He has thyroid issues and is on his way out. In order for him to function and eat, he needs meds. We called to get a refill on his 2 meds that are keeping him well enough to still have a little quality of life left. He had blood work done 6mo ago. They refused to refill anything without $300 in tests. He is going to be crossing the rainbow bridge in less than 2 months. They dont care about animals. Only money.

Over the years ACH has been prompt, courteous, and totally professional. And - since Dr. De Jesus has been on the scene there has been a noticeable uptick of super positive energy for the practice. She's prompt, engaging, efficient, and smart. A great place to trust with your kitty who isn't feeling well or just to keep up with wellness checkups.

Our vet had a family emergency, so we took our cat to the Annapolis Cat Hospital based on online reviews. Everyone there was amazing, from the ladies at the front desk, to the vet tech, to the vet. We got the bad news that our cat was riddled with masses and didn't have much longer. The way the vet handled everything was beyond professional. It was clear they cared about our cat and the pain we were in. They gave us meds to keep her comfortable the next day and we brought her back yesterday to be put to sleep. The same vet saw us, and I have never had a more compassionate vet during this procedure than the one we had at the cat hospital. I also have never had a vet who used a towel to hide the injections taking place, which I found very appreciative. We did not have to worry about anything except our baby, and I am really grateful for the care we were given. We will definitely be back with our other kitties.

Dealt with very unhappy cat, provided excellent bedside manner to help understand everything. Follow-up superb.

We don't have the words to express how grateful and appreciative we are to Dr. Wozniak, Dr. Longo, Norella, and team for the kindness, compassion, and support they gave to our entire family on one of the hardest days of our lives. December 8th, 2020: we had to make the gut-wrenchingly painful decision to let our beloved girl of 21 years go. Though she was elderly, she had otherwise been well, so her sudden decline was shocking and incomprehensibly agonizing. Mahina was a patient of ACH for 15 years, and during those years she received nothing short of exemplary care. Her well-being and quality of life always came first. Though she was the bestest girl at home (we could do almost anything to and with her) she wasn't always the easiest patient. But the ACH team took the time to understand her quirks and always showed her patience and kindness. When Mahina turned 21 in August of 2020, we knew time with our sweet girl was very precious (though she'd prevailed this far), and though this may sound silly as no one can predict the future, we'd convinced ourselves that our farewell would be a significantly different experience. What began as sniffles, something meds prescribed just a day earlier could surely knock out, turned into a battle of unknowns that our sweet girl's little body wasn't strong enough to fight. We called on route from Kent Island and arrived as an emergency, eyes flooded with tears and hearts full of hope that this wasn't the end. (In the middle of a global pandemic) the ENTIRE team embraced us. They showed us love and understanding. It was a very busy morning, but never once did they rush us through, and they provided an immeasurable amount of support and patience as we determined what the right decision would be for our sweet, sweet girl. The second most challenging part of this day was leaving without Mahina... but knowing her body was to remain in the care of this staff brought us so much comfort - a sense of comfort I would not have had with anyone else. When we returned to collect her ashes, we were also presented with an envelope that included a clipping of her hair, her tiny paw prints captured with love, and a card filled with kind words from the team. THANK YOU, ACH. We will never forget all that you did for Mahina through the years, and the love and care you showed not only her but also to us on that tragic day. We are forever grateful to you ❤️

We have just moved to the area from out of state. Our cat had an issue, and I called first thing in the morning. We had an appointment 50 minutes later. Dr. DeJesus was fantastic! She was very gentle with Flora, and she provided excellent care. This will be our cat hospital in the future. We are so glad we found Dr. DeJesus.

I love that this place is strictly for cats only!! The staff is so kind and wonderful. The vets really know their stuff and try to inform you as much as possible. They also send welcome cards to their new clients and I think it’s so welcoming ☺️

I had an appointment for my cat Rocky at 2pm who is quite challenging to transport, and on my way across town I called them to let them know I was going to be delayed. Something had obviously had happened in town and the traffic was outrageous. It took me 45 minutes to get there. a drive that usually takes 15 min. max. They told I would have to wait 2 hours before a vet could see me because they had an emergency. Obviously they must have staffing issues. another thing I don't like seeing a different vet every time. Its like an HMO for animals, and we all know what care that can mean. I was very disappointed,

Fantastic pet care! We bring our 10 year old cat and a brand new puppy here - they have separate buildings for the dogs and cats which is great for keeping our pets calm. Staff is awesome- great helpful care from vets and tech, who are always honest and never try to up sell!

I’ve lived all over Metro DC and so always come back to Annapolis Cat Hospital. No one knows my meowsters like these docs. They are caring and keep the prices down. They never demand unnecessary testing, and when I have to put a kitty down, they are compassionate.

Never had any problems here in the last few years, but received horrible service this most recent visit. The man at the front desk told me repeatedly it would just be a couple more minutes, then finally an hour past my appointment time, took in another appointment who was supposed to be after mine. His explanation was "this is not your appointment or your doctor." He also shared my appointment would not be for AT LEAST another 30 minutes. It could have gone much more smoothly if he'd shared up front that there would be a significant wait, so that I had the option to reschedule and not waste an hour of my life. In addition, appointments should be seen in order by whomever is available. Ridiculous and infuriating to be treated this way when you are already worried about your pet. In addition, I observed him be rather rude to another customer, who luckily referred me to a much kinder vet with better service, prices, hours, and a credit for my troubles at annapolis cat hospital.

My first visit to this facility was bringing my 21 year old cat for a sick visit. They got me in very quickly and explained everything that was going on with her to me. I was so impressed by the compassion, understanding, and knowledge of both the vet and the staff. Everyone was so helpful and thoughtful, including the gentlemen at the front desk. I also feel the cost for services was very fair. I will recommend this office and will be back! Thank you!

I cannot imagine a finer, more compassionate group of vets and their techs than Annapolis Cat Hospital. Dr. Wozniak is wonderful, she connects immediately to the pet and the owner, sensing their needs and the best method of care and treatment without hesitation. I feel very lucky to have them on my team for caring for our cats.

Drs. Longo, Wozniak & Ngwira and all the staff are terrific! I've brought 2 cats & 2 dogs there since 1993 for routine care, life threatening emergencies and chronic conditions. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
