Piggy backed service when I saw your van at our neighbors house...shot a text and got IMMEDIATE response and had availability to come right after the neighbors!!! SCORE! Nickie took the time to know what we wanted/expected and did just that in just about an hour...as opposed to the FOUR hours local big guys wanted to have the pup dropped off for... definitely more than the competition...but extremely talented and convenient...and they did a great job in nails and the cut itself!

Not a satisfactory first groom. Groomer arrived late, pulled into my driveway blocking ingress/egress for an hour and a half, spoke limited English, did not introduce herself, did not pause long enough to listen to instructions, took my 13 lb dog using a noose leash even though she was wearing a harness. Groom took an hour and a half (vs 1 hour with my previous groomer). When my dog emerged, she was drooling and shaking (and my dog LOVES to be groomed). Charged $150 for this wonderful experience. I will not use them again.

They cancelled very late 2 times and treated me as if I were the one who cancelled. The appointment taker was terribly rude talking over me. I should not have given them a second chance after having nicked my boy last time.

This company is awful! They were 30 minutes late to the scheduled meeting from when the person gave me the ETA. When calling the company for help about their arrival I was asked to text. Via text I was told how rude and inconsiderate I am for people still working during the pandemic. I was not rude, simply wanted to know why the groomer was 30 minutes later than the ETA given. Based on these interactions and harassment via text, I would not recommend this mobile option at all!

Very professional and great detailed work for our 3 pups

Very unethical, I hired them thinking the price would be around $120 which is what they quoted me over the phone prior to COVID. After the dog was groomed, they told me the charge was $200. In response, I stated that this was about 80% higher than usually, and ask if this was due to COVID, she stated that it was indeed due to COVID. I will never use them again, nor will I ever use a company that takes advantage of situations and price gouges. Very short sighted and unethical business practice, that has resulted in a lost costumer and a bad review.

I give them 5 stars with their grooming, however, I have paid 5 different prices, each going up 5 times. I will not be using them only because the prices are not consistent. My billing went from 95.00 to 120.00 for a toy poodle.

Worth everything, my coco loves it! I have changed from using Petsmart groomers because I feel they have beautiful results, staff is friendly, informative & listens, and mostly feel my pup isn't petrified of being there when I pick her up as with Petsmart. Which all in all make them worth their pricing, I'd definitely recommend.

By far the best groomer we’ve had. Our pups are 7 and 1 year old Golden’s. VIP consistently does an amazing job! We’ve been to other places where my pups come home and are still FUR-city but at VIP my fur babies always come back looking like perfect proper pups.

We really liked the quality of grooming provided at VIP pet, though the prices were more expensive than several others in town, so we switched. The owner does award-winning grooming jobs (literally), so if you have a dog with the kind of coat that can be really fancied up, you will be really satisfied!

Very nice place, friendly staff, but the lady who groomed my cat didn't listen to me carefully, she was speaking for several minutes with the customer before me and I was waiting then in my cat turn she took him in hurry, I tried to explain how my cat likes his hair and look , I thought she understood then I left My cat since yesterday is so annoyed, he was shaved completely, the only thing make him looks like a lion is his tail:(

I really appreciate these guys for their amazing services. They’re definitely the best when it comes to dog grooming. My dog always leaves the place looking great and smelling good. I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone I know.

VIP Pet and their staff came highly recommended to me and I must say they exceeded my expectations for service. I have a border terrier and its a challenge to locate a groomer who has knowledge about the breed. On my initial visit, the groomer spent 30 minutes talking about the breed, grooming techniques and a plan for my little guy. What a difference! He is a handsome and happy lad thanks to VIP Pet!

Jessica was awesome! My American Hairless Terrier puppy squirms so much that neither my wife or I (working alone or together) can cut his nails, and we’re experienced dog owners who know, and tried, all the tricks. We even had them try at the vet’s and two techs couldn’t cut them either (the one said our pup was the most difficult she’d ever seen). However, at VIP Pet, as a walk-in with no wait, Jessica had him up on the table and done in under five minutes. She did an amazing job. No fuss and no trauma. I highly recommend VIP Pet and Jessica, and my pup will be a regular client going forward.

I attended the "Do It Yourself Dog Grooming" event. I've had dogs for years, and have done basic nail trims, etc for them, but this class really gave me valuable tips on what to do for them in between regular grooming visits. Highly recommend the course for all dog owners!

We have had our dogs visit their salon in Alexandria and used their mobile grooming service (we have a 12 lb poodle mix and a 100lb German shepherd). Their team is always so great and our dogs are very happy! Thank you so such great service.

I have been looking for a place were I can stay with my dog when he is getting groomed. he is a about 105 lab mix and not so friendly. when I went t o south lawn pet spa to ask if they would let me stay with my dog when he is getting groomed they told me yes I can . I have turn places down because of this . but south lawn pet spa told me yes of the rip and it made me feel as though they have nothing to hide. I really love this place and will keep coming back. the staff was very pleasant . I will recommend south lawn pet spa to all my friends and family.
