Our pup, Otto, LOVES Roscoe’s! He always has a blast and comes home tired after a day of fun. All of the staff at Roscoe’s are responsive, kind and professional.

I chose Roscoe's after researching a number of overnight boarding options all the way from Rockland to Portland. I chose Roscoe's based on reviews, telephone discussions with their staff and just by chance, conversations with their clientele as they were picking up and dropping off their pets in the parking lot (COVID kept us from being able to go inside). Everyone was right, this is a fabulous facility and our 2 dogs had a great stay, the team was consistent in their care for all the dogs which I witnessed daily via their webcam, it's clean, safe, and professionally run. I work in the veterinary industry and my standards are very high. I will absolutely be using Roscoe's again and next time I will book Mellow and Shamus a bath too! Thank you to the wonderful team that works here and keep up the good work, it means a lot to so many of us to know you love our dogs as much as we do.

Convenient hours and nice staff

I cannot say enough amazing things about Roscoe’s. We adopted a husky pup and started her at Roscoe’s in the fall 2020 when she was old enough, during a time where she wouldn’t normally have gotten a great deal of socializing and we knew we wanted our new pup to meet lots of people and other dogs! From the start the staff at Roscoe’s introduced her to a group of dogs to slowly ease her in, and now we bring her once every 1-2 weeks depending on our schedule, just to socialize and get lots of energy out. The staff are very attentive, they know the dogs so well. She gets SO excited to go there- and at the end of each day you get a report card for your pup. Most importantly it’s so SO transparent there, you can watch your pup all day. I highly recommend!!

Look no further if you want the best for your dog. My dog is a difficult day care dog. He's a rescue dog with some serious anxiety issues and a Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix (need I say more). I moved here 6 months ago and contacted Roscoe's for an appointment. The individual attention they have given to me and my dog from that point on has been phenomenal. They listened to me and understood my dog's issues, and in response developed a plan to address his anxiety. As others have said, my dog is transformed. His anxiety has diminished; he pays attention to commands; he seems happier. Most of all, he loves going to Roscoe's. When we make the turn on to Hutchins Dr., he puts his paws on the window in anticipation. Thank you Roscoe's staff. You have provided a service that brings joy and solace during these trying times.

Heard good things about it. Tried it and liked it. No other basis of real comparison. But liked their intake process. Our dog always comes back happy and tired and is eager to go again.

All I can say is wow! My dog is incredibly important to me and my best friend, so deciding to leave her even for a weekend with anyone is always a huge decision. From the moment I talked on the phone with one of their staff, I knew Roscoe's was the place for us. While my dog stayed with them, I was able to log in to their web cam on their website and watch her play with the other dogs. Unlike other similar places, Roscoe's really vets each new dog to make sure that everyone in the pens will be laid back and able to get along. My dog had an amazing time and came home exhausted from playing but super happy. I really could not recommend this place enough! Even if you just need your dog out of the house for a day, this is definitely the best option.

It advertises as above average care for your dog but I don't agree. We decided to leave our dog at Roscoe's for boarding because of the webcams and 24/7 onsite care, but he didn't receive the attention and level of care we had hoped for. They have 5 or 6 play areas but would use only 3 and one of the play areas used was always overcrowded with the younger more energetic dogs. It was packed, with limited space for dogs to distance themselves from other dogs, if they so desired. They received minimal interaction with the caregivers, thereby creating a stressful (due to space confines) and boring experience. Why they wouldn't separate the high energy dogs into 2 groups still confuses me, unless they are limiting the staff time - more dogs, less staff - more profit. Our dog also didn't receive dinner one night or the toy I sent for his sleeping area. They never gave him the 'something from home item' that they recommended I send with him. One more thing, he was supposed to receive medication every night and didn't. Pro's. Friendly staff, responded to emails and phone calls, sent daily (almost daily, missed one day) report cards with pictures.

My dog is my baby and I don’t trust many people to watch her. She loves going to Roscoe’s and I always trust that she’s in good hands for the day when I leave her there. The employees are all super friendly and excited to see her when we come in. We love Roscoe’s!

Best day care and boarding for dogs in the area.

Everything from the amazing staff to the spotless facility meets and exceeds my expectations.

I cannot say enough great things about Roscoes. My dog Cal is a rescue and very scared of humans. Roscoes was so patient with Cal and understood his needs. After a couple of months, Cal grew to love every single one of the staff members! He jumps for joy whenever he walks through the door. I feel so lucky to have a doggie daycare that cares so much about my pup. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Emma, our pup, has been going to Roscoe's for 4 months. She pulls on her leash to get inside to play with her friends. I love that you can view the webcams to see your dog. Most of the staff have been great to interact with.

The very best of the best! A full five stars! The staff is absolutely fantastic - I can't emphasize that enough. They are professional, caring, and friendly. They clearly love dogs understand dogs, but also are fantastic with people. The facility is absolutely top notch - and very transparent, unlike many others.. It's clean and very well maintained. We use Roscoes for both daycare and for boarding. We feel so comfortable leaving Stanley, knowing he is in excellent care. He loves going and enjoys his stay. We've used several other daycares/boarding facilities in the area in the past and will never go anywhere else after finding Roscoes! If you're considering a place for your dog, this is the best!

We stumbled across this place, as our usual place was under renovation, so we used them in a pinch... we never left. The owner is a charming woman, and Roscoe himself (the dog) wanders the waiting room lazily. These people care about your doggo. The "report card" pictures are the highlight of the pupper's stay. Added bonus: if you're ever curious of your family member's current whereabouts/status there are live webcams. This place is the tops.

Love this place. They are so sweet when they see my dog (I'm not delusional... I know they are will all dogs but it does feel personalized). They have webcams and open at 6:30am.. ultimately.... That's why I chose them. Oh and they send home report cards every day (though they add a weird story thing at the end) but it includes pictures of your pupper while at daycare ????

Roscoe’s is the best second home for your little buddy. There are other good options in greater Portland, but Roscoe’s combination of friendly staff, technology, price, and care make them the best. This is the right choice, stop thinking and just do it!
