Adorable fur friends but none available

We gave 5 stars earlier. We love the puppy but have come across news that this is a puppy mill which we can not endorse. The birth date we received was wrong and the puppy had parasite which we got him medication from our vet. Kathy will not respond to our calls/texts/emails. Kathy was nice and the puppy is a joy but we can not endorse a puppy mill. The news footage we saw is disturbing. Please disregard our 5 star post. We also have no health guarantee which we were promised. And we did everything Kathy told us to do and we have all documentation to prove it. For the price we paid we unfortunately feel ripped off. Communication was great in getting the puppy but stopped abruptly after getting him (and submitting a 5 star review). Had we seen the film footage beforehand we would not have purchased from Kathy. We have rescued a sweet puppy for a high price with what appears to be no health guarantee. We will love this puppy but not do business with Kathy again.

I dont want to even give 1 star! Horrible communication. Said she would have my dogs papers months ago and it’s been 5 months I’ve had my pup and still nothing!! And to know she’s running a puppy mill I’m absolutely horrified! I had no idea when we inquired about my pup! I thank god the pup i did get from her in October is healthy!. Do NOT buy any animals from her!!! Hell has a place especially for people like her!!

Puppy Mill! The worst of all kind! Buyer Beware!

Buyer. Beware Kathy running a Puppy Mill according St. Landry Parrish Animal Shelter. A total of 150 dogs were taken from the home plus 250 from a barn. Reference klfy.com Google her I received my puppy in December, the orginal date was suppose to be the 8th and she kept pushing the date out, sometimes not responding. I have been calling and texting her since January to get what was owed to me. New Puppy Kit Registration Papers Another pup I feel like a big dummy, I notice the difference in the picture of the babies when I got home.

I purchased a red male poodle for breeding purposes from Precious Peks. I was told he would be in the 6 lb range and I paid according to that also. I was very specific about the fact the dog needed to have tight patellas. I received the puppy at 14 weeks of age and took him the next day to my vet where he failed the knee exam. Kathy's reply to me was I guess what my vet thinks are good knees and what your vet thinks are good knees are not the same. I also actually talked to Kathy's vet and she indicated to me she never checked his knees. Also the puppy now at 17 weeks weighs over 5 lbs already. This is the first time in 35 years of raising animals I have ever written a negative review. If you are a breeder please be aware that her and her vet will not stand behind her dogs. Having read the reply from Perfect Peks. My vet never said any such thing about waiting for the pup to grow. She graded the knees a 2-3 and even rechecked him a month later. I don't know where she is dreaming this stuff up from. Her vet told me herself she did not check the pup's knees. So you need to take this up with your vet. As far as hoping I don't abuse the pup. Really, how insulting. Appears all you fans of this breeder need to read about her now!!!

Kathy was wonderful to work with. My puppy is so beautiful and was well-groomed when I picked him up. My vet was very impressed how well-cared for and healthy my puppy is. Also Kathy started my puppy on pee pad training which is making it so easy to potty train my puppy. Kathy provided vet records, health guarantee, and 30 days paid pet health insurance. If you want a healthy and happy puppy I highly recommend Kathy with Perfect Peks Kennel.

We’ve only had our chocolate Peekapoo for two days, and we are so in love already. He is beautiful and his sweet, outgoing, personality is evidence that he’s been in a healthy breeding environment. Kathy was easy to work with and extremely knowledgeable. She has also been very open to answering my questions and concerns. Overall, great experience.

A friend of mine from PA recommended Perfect Peks Kennel. Since I am from Massachusetts, I was a little nervous buying a puppy sight unseen from Louisiana. I contacted Kathy Belaire, the breeder via her FB page for Perfect Peks Kennel and she guided me through the process of buying my beautiful puppy. Kathy updated me with videos and photos of my puppy while she was nurturing him and getting him ready to send to me. She took very good care of him. I was supposed to get him at the beginning of October when he was 8 weeks old but she let me know that he was too tiny and not ready to come home. I know that she really cared about his well being. I would definitely recommend Perfect Peks Kennel. They have Poodles, Pekinese and Shih tzu and Mixed Breeds of each! Kathy absolutely loves her dogs/puppies and has extensive knowledge of each breed. My puppy is very happy, healthy and loveable. Thank you Kathy! You made me and my entire family so happy!!

Our experience was good, in meeting Mrs Kathy and seeing our puppy for the first time. My wife and I love our new addition to the Family. Our Teacup Shi Tzu puppy has adjusted well with her new home, very smart ,loving and playful. Big thumbs up !!!!!

I picked up my beautiful sassy little peekapoo girl Teddy this past Monday from Kathy. She is a gorgeous little chocolate merle. I had to go 1500 miles one way to get her but she's worth it. We've only been home 2 full days and Teddy already runs to the door when she has to potty. She's so smart. Kathy does a wonderful job socializing her pups and getting them ready for their fur-ever homes. If I could handle 2 and she wasn't so far I'd definitely get another one from a future litter. Perfect Peks is the best.

We got our fur baby from Perfect Peks Kennel last fall. His name is Jasper, and he is the most amazing puppy ever! This is truly the SWEETEST pup, loves everybody, and so eager to be loved back! Jasper is very healthy and came to us puppy-pad trained so housetraining was a breeze! (And because he is SO smart!) And let me also tell you how beautiful he is!! Thank you, MS Cathy, for our Jasper!

Kathy, the breeder, is very compassionate about her dogs and easy to work with. We recently purchased a beautiful chocolate Merle puppy from her that we instantly fell in love with. We would highly recommended her.

Mrs. Kathy is one of the most dedicated breeders I have ever encountered. I just picked up my beautiful toy Shih tzu this week and she is not only loving but also potty trained. She potty trained her to go on potty pads and that is such a relief. You want to bond with your new fur baby and that is something that is one less thing to worry about with all that comes with bringing your new family member home. I am in love with My Pekapoo from Perfect Peks Kennel. Kathy does a great job with socializing her puppies before they find their forever home. My puppy is mild tempered and automatically used puppy pads from the moment I picked him up. We had an amazing visit with the vet my puppy is healthy and happy.

The process of getting our dog went well. However I have requested her paper work several times with no response from Kathy. I was told it would be mailed to me the day after I picked her up.

We just purchased a beautiful merle toy poodle from Kathy. He is everything she said he would be and more. The vet records and AKC registration papers came delivered with him as promised. Kathy doesn't always reply right away, as others have mentioned, but she delivers on her word. He arrived clean and even after a long flight, not even slightly shy. The delivery service she used was prompt and professional. He is clearly well socialized. Often times when puppies change locations they can develop an upset stomach or some loose stool. Not him.Not once. He is also clean in his crate, sleeping through the night without accidents. He is very clean and almost 100% potty trained in a matter of weeks. I have never experienced this with a dog this small. We plan to get our next puppy from Kathy.

Our Prince is the sweetest and most precious puppy! He is super smart and loves to hug. We definitely received great service from Perfect Peks Kennel and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their next fur-family member!

Thank you Kathy my little Red male poodle puppy "Chase" is just perfect! I was kept well informed about Chase from a few days after he was born up to the day he was able to come home with me. Chase came with vet records, full AKC papers and a bag of the food. I was hoping to receive him at 8 weeks old but he wasn't quite ready...Kathy wanted to keep him another week so ensure he was eating well.
