Always gets us in the day I call. I love how nice the staff are towards my pets and the prices are reasonable

Every vet in the entire city gave me the run around, or outrageous prices. 24 hours my baby would have been gone! She needed an emergency spayed, or was going to literally bleed to death. First stop was on David dr where I cost 700 just to diagnose her. After that was offered surgery at 4500 bucks…. Not having that type of money, I brought her home and prayed! Called aspca but they were down due to hurricane.was recommended by an aspca worker to contact this place and the nicest receptionist listen to what I been threw, told me she’s going to collect files from other clinic n call me back. Finally she did with an awesome price of 900….and to be seen ASAP I go pick her up tomorrow and can’t wait to meet the doctors who I believe are in it for the love of animals and not just money…. My baby Tabitha will live to see another day, swim, car ride, walk, and be loved by her family. Because of this place.

Dr. Grisoli is the only veterinarian I will take my pets too.

Listed as a Veterinary Hospital, however, without Hospital prices. Other Pet Vets are very good and you're gonna' pay for it. Southshore isn't cheap. Much more reasonable than the others. Great Doctors and Great Staff.

The staff were super friendly and very informative. Because of their positive energy and calmly explaining the entire procedure from start to finish I felt very comfortable putting my trust in their establishment.

I'm very grateful to this place...my cat Lucifer can be really difficult and they always do their best to accommodate him and I..although he may not appreciate it as much I find myself trusting the staff and vet here which isn't always easy to do...I'll most definitely be keeping them as my primary vet!

Very good report! My cat is back to using litter box and not floor. Hard to catch so I missed my last appointment. Still has loose stool so steroid shot he recommended is next.

4 &1/2 yrs.I been going. I'm waiting for them to start bathing again. I put 4 stars so they 'ave something to get better at b/c right now Ya'll are great. Reasonably priced and good doctors.

My cat hurt his leg so I called to try and get him seen. They made me make an appointment for days after the injury. Told me keep him comfortable till then. When I showed up for the appointment they said they didn't have an appointment scheduled for him and that they cancelled all appointments for last week and this week but they never called me. In the mean time I'm been panicking and worried about my cat. And when I showed up there were other people waiting so they obviously didn't cancel those appointments! They didn't even care that he was hurt! Worst vet ever. Never taking my pets there ever again.

Very very loving Caring In Thero people

I was feeling like a terrible dog mom because Sambeaux's groomer has been closed due to Covid-19 and his nails were making us both nervous. Thinking my vets office was only taking medical and emergency visits I called to check. Yes, they were doing pedi pedis and yes I could bring him in that day! A safe contact less exchange with the wonderful staff at Southshore made my day. Thank you Southshore for loving the babies and keeping my good mom status in check. Everyone here has a genuine concern and love for animals.

Southshore Animal Hospital was very professional and accommodating to me. I was in great need of their help and they were happy to oblige. They were very loving and attentive to my cat’s needs. I highly recommend them.

So thankful to the vets & all the help at Southshore animal hospital. My cat was in bad condition & they squeezed us in and operated on him that day. They were so kind & the pricing is beyond reasonable. Thank you all so much ! I will be bringing all my cats here for all medical treatment and check ups from here on out.

We took our kitten here to get fixed, and we had such a wonderful experience. Setting up an appointment was so easy and they offer text reminders which is great. From intake to discharge the staff we interacted with were attentive and kind. They called us after the procedure to let us know how it went. They also have a great variety of leashes and harnesses in the office. They do participate with Jefferson parish's fix-a-feline program as well. Update: If I could add stars to this review, I would. I recently brought my senior cat in for a visit, and I had such a good experience. The vet and the tech were efficient, friendly, and most of all handled my cat wonderfully. The front office staff are always welcoming and very helpful. I'm so happy I found this facility!

When it was sold and Dr. Jones retired the prices went up 300% and the old staff was let go.

Wow, so disappointed in this Place. After a $200 visit for a kitten and NO tests take. Was NEVER shown the xray that was taken and sent how with only oral laxatives.... Kitten got worse over night and had to take it to a BETTER VET. THANKS FOR NOTHING. I kitten had a respiratory infection, worms and needed to be tested for many ither problems. NEVER TAKE ANIMALS YOU LOVE HERE ????
