I am very impressed with Dr Pete and his staff. Chewy received excellent care. They called the following morning to see how he was doing and that meant so much to me. I was going to a different vet but he cant compare to the care we received at Town and Country. So thankful to have found such a caring and professional service. I feel they have given so much to finding Chewy's problem. Thanks again Dr. Pete!!!

I called to check if I could walk in with my cat and I was given an appointment their during lunch hours. Once I got their we where immediately brought to a room and they started with the exam. They where very nice and quick with diagnosing my cat and getting her treated. I recommend this place to anyone with an animal in need!

I switched to Town and Country when I got my new pup- my older doggy Annie had been going to the vet hospital as her annual vet but I never felt connected... when I went to Dr. Van not only do I feel more connected but I actually got answers to questions I didn't know I had with what was wrong with Annie- like she was in kidney failure (she had been to the other vet 3 times the year prior for a tumor on her back leg & had seen the vet for dental) - I feel like it should have been caught at an earlier stage from the other place... since we got our puppy a year ago, he has kept us on our toes with getting to know the new vet! from puppy shots to a skin allergy to Kennel cough (from the dog stop) back to his skin allergy to eating an earbuds case- I feel like I touch base like once a month with my American bully ????

Receptionist was super friendly and got me in as a first time visit with ease. Dr. Pete was very thorough and informed me of all issues and what they were planning. Compared to other vets the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be going back.

It was our first visit- & it was to bring our new boy puppy. Well, the last time my old girl went to her other vet- i was so not impressed ???? so I decided to bring them both here today. It was my first outting with 2 dogs so it was hectic but they were so friendly here and bared with me, and the vet checked them so much more deeply than annies other vet seemed to do... &&&&& my little basket case- went straight to the girl even tho she was shakin- that speaks 5 stars for itself!!!!

Town and country vet clinic was very accommodating when I needed to get my dog in for a last minute appointment. I am new to this area and had not established care with a local vet yet. They saw my dog the same day I called. Everyone was super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely be bringing my dogs back there.

I was in the unfortunate position of needing their services just before they closed on a Saturday yet they stayed open to take care of my furbaby. The Dr and his staff are kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable; they were able to treat my baby and put me at ease. 10/10 would recommend!

My family has been going to Dr. Pete for years so of course when my husband and I got a new puppy I knew exactly who to take her too. They absolutely adore her and took the best of care. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone. Best care in Acadiana in my opinion.

They are on list for low income pet owners yet for a small house dog I was quoted $320.. Bout $100+ over the avg in Lafayette parish! Such a rip-off & really don't get the just if that thinking & DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE ON A LOW INCOME VET!!!!

Overpriced and inefficient. Was boarding the dog for about 5 days. He had a bit of dryer than usual skin. Based off of asking about that and boarding, was charged $450 for a round of testing that I wasn’t called for results on prior to them force feeding meds even though I did call to check on him. They didn’t return his unused food. Then on pick up, I was charged an additional $135 for not sure why. The vet couldn’t explain. He did inform me there was a potentially threatening growth on the dog’s stomach needing attention. When I requested he SHOW me what he was talking about, he pointed to my dogs NIPPLE. Ok that’s supposed to be there and normal and no we aren’t cutting on it. He laughed at his mistake but honestly I can’t be more nauseated by the lack of cost efficiency, communication and professional courtesy here. If you’re made of money, maybe the receptionist being nice is a good reason to drop the pup off here...

Awesome experience and best ever.

We have been taking our animals to Dr. Pete for many years. They treat our furry family members as if they were one of their own. Dr. Pete and the entire staff are so loving and caring, from the compassionate way they allowed us to say good bye to our Cali kitty, to the meeting in a Home Depot parking lot to give Molly dog an injection to counter an allergic reaction. Thank you all for what you do!!!

Dr. Pete and the staff are extremely caring and patient with my nervous dog. He used to give us so much trouble getting him in and out of the vet's office but now he loves it. He runs to Pete's staff and is so happy. It makes it so much easier to leave a pet in someone's care when you know they want to be there.

We brought our cat to this clinic when he injured his leg. They treated him and asked us to bring the cat back a week later for a recheck. On the recheck Doctor looked at the cat for less than a minute. He didn’t do anything just checked and said it looks good. But we were charged 40$ for just that. We paid a lot of money the week before for the leg treatment. I think the extra 40$ unfair. The doctor and staff are nice and great. But I think they price and they way they do it is wrong. We will not go there anymore.

Brought in a cat that "got into something." They fixed him up in no time!

This vet is on the expensive side, but he saved my dog.. Everyone misdiagnosed her. He knew what was wrong. I thought she might have to be put to sleep. She was skinny and her fur was falling out! Now she is maybe a little too fat and has a thick coat of hair. She was depressed and could barely move, now she is constantly wanting to play. She is wagging her tail again. It was worth it.

When our dog Whitman had an ear infection, the staff at Town and Country not only made him a priority by giving us a same day apt but they treated him with care and gentleness. They walked me through step by step instructions on how to best care for him and scheduled a follow up apt to re-evaluate. I am so pleased by their service and am comforted knowing that they have his health as their top priority!
