Once again, Dr. Salles and his team got our very sick pet back on track. They treat you and your pet like family. He is Honest and Fair. But most of all, Dr. Salles is an expert on diagnosing the problem and coming up with a Strategy. Other vets may be great, this guy is Special Ops! Highly recommend.

Very caring Dr. and staff- highly recommend to all! My lil girl needs surgery on her hind leg and I couldn’t be more pleased with the surgery performed, the care provide to my girl, and price was very reasonable. Great dr.!

This is the place to take your pets! They are understanding in the took care of my cat with no problems at all. The good doctor is one of the best ones around. He is knowledgeable and explains everything in layman's terms. The receptionist is very friendly and compassionate. What else do you need? I'll definitely take all my animals here for now on.

I moved down here from Baton Rouge a little over a year ago and needed to find a good vet and staff for my precious fur kiddos. I did a google search for vets near me and low and behold....Terry Parkway Animal Hospital was literally right up the road from my home. I had just decided to rescue a puppy from a shelter ( I will not disclose the name due to the nature of my experience) as I always rescue a dog when one of mine crosses the Rainbow Bridge in their memory. After having her for about a week, I noticed something terribly wrong with her front paws. They immediately took her in, did x-rays, sent them to a specialist and was told that she would grow into her paws, more than likely and she did. Dr. Salles emailed me the great news on a Sunday afternoon. I was blown away that he took the time on his day off to do that for me, as he know I was so distraught about my puppy possibly needing to have a very painful surgery. His email to with the great news was so caring and compassionate. His staff, Amy and Tracy both called me a couple of days of each other to check on me and tell me how happy they were for the great news. A couple of weeks later, I noticed my puppy's stomach was very swollen and knew it was more then just worms or parasite that the shelter supposedly treated her for. Not only were the worms and parasites still in her tiny little body, she had a umbilical hernia that was missed by the shelters vet that spayed her! This baby had to be cut back open and have it removed. Thank God for Dr. Salles through work on finding it and performed an amazing surgery on her and she healed up nicely and put her on the right medications for the worms and parasites. I truly believe that he, long with Amy and Tracy saved my baby's life! My other 2 rescues that are much older and terrified of being at a new vet, were handled with amazing loving care and compassion when they went for their annuals and most recently one of them had a very bad urinary tract infection that could have caused kidney failure. Dr. Salles ran tests and cultures that most other vets would not have taken the time to run and just sent her home with a basic antibiotic and just hope for the best. He saved her life as well. While she was resting at home on her medications, both Amy and Tracy called me every week to check on her and me. I do not know what I would do without Dr. Salles, Amy and Tracy. I will only bring my precious fur kiddos to Terry Parkway Animal Hospital. there aren't enough stars to give them. 5 stars aren't even close enough! I highly recommend Terry Parkway Animal Hospital to everyone! Please pardon this review being a little all over the place, as I was trying to type it as tears of joy streamed down my face. Dr. Salles and his team are the absolute best! My cat is very anxious, and I’ve had a couple of situations that they have helped me through. we had to take her on a 22 hour road trip for a move. Dr. Salles sat with me for a good while and talked about how this would go, not only giving me options but letting me talk about my worries and frustrations. He even emailed me after the move to check how it went! They really care about the animals, and it’s always a pleasure to go to the vet. I don’t think you can say that about every animal hospital!

When our little furry girl became severely sick and after a bad experience at a local pet hospital, we fortunately discovered Dr. Salles and he immediately got her on the right track to recovery. He is an Amazing veterinarian. And his staff are considerate and understanding. I knew that our prayers would be answered the second we met he and his staff. He saved our baby girl. Our pets have been patients at Terry Parkway Animal Hospital for 20 years. Dr Salas and his staff have been sensitive and gentle with them all, even our crazy cat. I can also attest to Dr Salas’ surgical skills following a pretty serious injury my “wild child” incurred running on the batture. There is nary a trace 6 years later, and it was comforting for both me and my dog to have it done in house. By those we knew and trusted. Could not recommend them more highly

Dr. Salles and the staff at Terry Parkway Animal Hospital provided our Nellie the best care for her emergency knee surgery. During the initial visit Dr. Salles correctly diagnosed the orthopedic problem, laid out a surgery and treatment plan to get our girl back to 100%. We had faith in the TPAH team to know and provide the best solution for Nellie to keep her happy and healthy. She used to be afraid to go to the vet, but now if she sees we are heading in the direction of Dr. Salles’ office she gets excited. Thank you TPAH team for exceeding our expectations and for treating our girl like one of your own. Rest assured that your furry family members are in the best hands at TPAH. Highly Recommended !!!!!

Dr. Sallis is the best. He is very knowledgeable and compassionate. When my little chihuahua was sick he took her home with him to watch her over night. Best Vet and staff!

We have been customers for many years. The staff is very good.

All of my pets.. and several rescues on their way to their furever homes... have been patients of Dr. Salles for 12 years. Not only patients... but friends. Dr. Salles and his staff go above and beyond for our babies. They care about them as if they were their own. The care they receive is top notch. I have learned so much from Dr. Salles because he takes the time to talk to us as pet parents and explain things. We were new to Nola when we found Dr. Salles... I had left my cat’s insulin in a refrigerator during Gustav evacuation and he didn’t bat an eye when my husband walked in with the box and said we needed help. I could tell a thousand stories about how lucky my pets are to be his patients. Even during the hardest time.. when it comes time to let go... you feel as if you are among family.

I have been taking my pets here for over 20 years. I wouldn’t go anywhere where else. He gives the best care. Has great techs that work well with all pets. Let’s see. He has seen me through 2 Rottweilers. 1 German Shepard. 2 Shepard mixes. 1 beagle. All have passed over the rainbow bridge. But lived a great life due to his great vet care. Currently I have a tabby cat and Japanese chin. Both love going there. You will not be disappointed in the care given. He has his own ear concoction used on one of my babies.

Dr Salles and his staff treated my 2 year old cat, who was having neurological issues, as well as many other issues. Dr Salles took care of my Riley, like she was his own. He communicated with me throughout the weekend, that she was in his care and even sent me a video of her walking around (which she could not do when I brought her to him). She has since made a full recovery, and I am certain, that if Terry Parkway Animal Hospital, had not squeezed her in last Saturday, she would not be sleeping beside me right now. You guys are the best, and I’m so grateful to you for taking care of my girl.

We have been going to Dr. Salles since we moved to the area in 1983. At that time he was a new young vet, with his fiance as his vet tech. He and his staff have provided excellent care for our animals, welcoming new pets, performing surgeries, recommending specialists when he felt they were needed, and is always there to answer questions. Most importantly when that awful time comes to say goodbye he has done it with compassion and a tear in his eyes. Clarence loves going to visit with him, Traci, and Amy. I think he is the best vet in the area and have no problem recommending him. I'm sure you will agree.
