PetSmart Covington, Louisiana

I stopped by this pet smart to get some dog food, and overall it was a good store. It was very clean on the inside and everyone was helpful.

Pet smart is a good place to shop. Be careful in bringing puppies there before they are vaccinated it is risky. Having a new doggie can cloud our judgment sometime. So exciting ! Be safe!

They always have what I need for my pets. Friendly service oriented staff make sure you can find what you need. However, everything is well organized so I rarely need help.

Out of traveling to many PetSmart's in the baton rouge and Hammond area I was disappointed to find this location was in such horrible shape. The betta fish section of the store had almost 5+ dead fish just sitting on the shelf. Every fish that was somewhat still alive was in brown water. I asked an associate for assistance with something in which they denied me and said I can go wait in line for someone to help. When I finally had assistance, I asked for an item and they said no actually that is supposed to be thrown away. Instead of letting me purchase item ( an aquarium stone ) they threw it in the trash. The entire store was dirty and the pets were disgustingly neglected. I have NEVER seen a pet store in such horrible conditions and rude staff. I will never be going back to this location and as someone who goes to pet supply stores almost twice a week for supply for my animals, me choosing to never go here says a lot about the conditions. It was depressing.

The pets always look well taken care of - even the Betta fish that other stores seem to overlook!

Do most my shopping at petco cause they don't have saltwater fish

They saved the day! Grand puppy came for an over night stay and the kennel I had was too small. Went on Petsmart website and found one purchased it and signed up for pickup. It was all ready for me when I arrived. Whew Louie, the grand puppy, was so happy with his new kennel and pad. Thanks Petsmart.

Got some kitty treats and a new bed. Nice selection to choose from.

Was able to help me to do a refund on some dog food I bought that I wouldn't be needing since it's prescription and my dog passed away. The staff was wonderful and very helpful

Oh my gosh I walked in and nothing but animal stuff. I know it's a pet store but I didn't think it was so big!

They have everything you could need. Mochi loves going and picking his own treats. They have great customer service and have great suggestions.

Made an appointment at the grooming salon for 9AM and then appointment at Banfield for exam at 11:30. The agreement with grooming salon was that they would send my dog over to Banfield for his appointment after they groomed him. Arrive at grooming appointment and they say “we have no record of your appointment “. After explaining that it was no mistake on my end and I have this whole process I planned for today they say “we have no appointments today”. Highly disappointed and will not return. Might even switch pet veterinarian clinic due to this experience.

Jessica did an OUTSTANDING JOB with our precious fur baby, Beignet. Would highly recommend Jessica to anyone needing grooming services for their fur baby also.

Yes, they do carry some good brand name products but they are always running low or completely out. It is a 50/50 chance they might have it. The employees are hit or miss but about 70 % of the time they are no help and clearly do not want to help and do not even bother to hide their attitude. Their favorite line is “if you don’t see it on the shelf, we must not have it….and no we don’t know when it will be in“ aka…I don’t feel like helping you. I was there just yesterday and when I asked for help …the employee audibly let out an annoyed sound as if I can’t hear it or they just don’t care. I tried their grooming services also but gave that up because my dog became petrified of them. I now get services from my vet. He loves it there and he is done so much faster. Basically if you are in a pinch you might find what you need but you can’t rely on them. 2 stars for occasionally having a product in a pinch.

My puppy was seen at this place Saturday, August 21,2021 and hasn't been the same. This place is a joke with no transparency of knowing what's going on in the back. My puppy hasn't bark since Saturday. The next day seem as if my puppy had some type of trauma he couldn't have been dropped. Long story I took him back in today Wednesday. I cancel my plan with Banfield I would recommend taking your pet to a local place. These household corporations are just greedy for money with poor work performance. Close this place down asap. PETSMART suck as business the doctors are liars!

No one is ever around to help you and if you do find someone.. they are completely clueless and aren't helpful bc they know absolutely nothing, it seems, about the store... But they're usually very nice! Js

The people that work at the Covington Petsmart were so nice and helpful to us when we had trouble with our little puppy, The helped us get our record straight from another Petsmart from Baton Rouge and helped treat our new babies condition. THEY WENT Above and Beyond, Thank you So much for ALL You did !!!!!!!

Thank you Lauren for helping me. I have a cat with a sensitive stomach and he's a picky eater and he will only eat Hill's Science Diet Z/D. I was having trouble finding it until I called ya'll. Thank you.

We just popped in to get a puppy collar for our new Great Dane we were on the way to pick up in Mississippi. It was a Nice Store.

I had a return. The manager was so very understanding and made the online return quickly for me.
