Banfield Pet Hospital Covington, Louisiana

I am so grateful for this clinic to be open on Saturdays and Sundays. They saw my dog and treated him so well. He is doing 100% better. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy!!! Excellent Animal Hospital and excellent staff.

We have used Banfield for all of our pets. The one in Harvey and now the location in Covington. Every doctor is caring and professional. Especially Dr. Cross (both of them)! From the front staff, vet techs, to the doctors I highly recommend Banfield. There are pet plans to help with cost if it is too much to pay at once. Thank you for the service you provide our furbabies!

We are from out of town and our new Frenchie was itching a lot. I was skeptical of going anywhere but our home vet but our lil boy Duke was suffering so much and developed blisters on his skin so we could not wait to get him seen at home with him being so uncomfortable. Dr. Cross and her husband were absolutely phenomenal. They saw each animal as they came in like it was there own. The visit and fee was very reasonable and they put me at ease and did an awesome job of explaining Dukes condition and future needs. If you are in ever in need of a place for an ER visit I highly recommend them & there staff was very kind as well. Thank you again Mr. & Mrs.Dr Cross for your care & attention to our lil Duke ❤. If we lived here we'd certainly come back all the time!

Words cannot begin to explain how special everyone at the The Banfield Hospital in Covington, La. are Everyone there is, and have been wonderful, from the first time we went- not to mention, going above and beyond to save my baby, Blackie Wacky"s life. They even call periodically, just to see how Blackie is doing. Any time I've had a concern, problem, or even question- they are immediately there to answer , help, or advise me in any way. If I need to come in- there's no wait, no putting me off for an appointment- they see Blackie immediately. They aren't just a vet or a hospital- they are a second family that genuinely care, always there , in any and every way possible. With all that they have done- from saving my cat's life, to even emotional support, I could never begin to trust or consider going anywhere else. The people that work there are really special, and truly care! I love them!

Friendly staff, knowledgeable and organized

My dog broke her dewclaw. It was bleeding and i was slightly panicking. They clipped it for me, assured me she would be fine and sent us on our way. Very much appreciated

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! I honestly wouldn’t even give them one star???? We had heard mixed reviews about Covington’s Banfield when we moved here but I decided to give them a chance. My dogs are like my children. I expect any vet to take animals serious but not this place. I have brought my dog here five times in the last year for a skin issue he has been having. He has been absolutely miserable. FIVE times I have taken him they never cured his issue. As they nickel and dimed us every visit they still misdiagnosed him and never helped. We have now found the skin issue he had was life threatening and we now go to the band field in Slidell. Please don’t waste your time or money at this place.

I love that they offer the pet insurance plan and always take care of my girls. It's so much cheaper to get your baby on a plan than to pay for individual office visits and shots. The plan saves you a ton of money and gives (me) so much peace knowing I can take them to any petsmart in the country and get them treated and cared for. They include spays nueters shots and a ton of extra care I normally wouldn't be able to pay all at once. They even have a plan where a yearly teeth cleaning is included which us pet owners know can cost a pretty penny. Thanks for always taking care of my girls!

Always a great experience when bringing my pup to see the vet here. Also did some shopping and found a good price on my dogs new harness and used the coupon I was sent for her birthday also.

Banfield Covington has the best care for all your pets needs ❤ Every time I have had to make an appointment on short notice they have been so acomidating.

Dr. Cross and the entire Banfield staff are truly amazing. They take excellent care of both our pups... a 15lb yorkie and an 80lb lab mix. Our lab mix had a massive growth on his neck and in a very sensitive area. We watched it for a while since the biopsy showed it was benign, afraid to go ahead with surgery. Eventually, it grew too large and began affecting his comfort. Dr. Cross expertly dissected and patched him up beautifully. He was back to chasing squirrels in no time!!!

Everyone is always super nice and welcoming. Making an appointment is always super easy. They always remember to call and check on us the next day!! ❤️

Doctor and staff is great but medicine is very expensive.

I don't believe Dr Cross hates any animal. I have two crazy dogs and her face beams when they come in. Definitely recommend everyone there, too.

The doctors in Covington really care about your pets! After EVERY visit, they call the next day to see how your pet is doing! They want to make sure that your pretty didn't react to the vaccinations and to see if you had any questions. The staff is always friendly and the doctors are very knowledgeable. We have been using Banfield health insurance for over 15 years. It's the best thing we have done for our pets!

Everyone is always pleasant when we bring the cats in. Even when we don't have the cats, just come up with questions, they're always willing to take a minute to help.

Our vet there at the Covington hospital is great, the front counter ladies friendly and the assistants are great also. They answer your questions and they care about the animals.

Didn't use pet services know lots of people who do they are very pleased.

Saw the vet today, very good and attentive.
