Great with the pets. Disappointed they ran a series of tests without asking me first and charged me for $100 in unnecessary services.

We’ve bee patients for 10+ years and wouldn’t go elsewhere! Dr. Kleinpeter and the whole staff are caring, passionate about animals, and very thorough and knowledgeable. We love them!

I don’t trust my dogs to anyone else! I Dr. Kleinpeter and Dr. Latkovich are so good to my pups! Allie & Lauren are fantastic along with the rest of the office staff. A great vet has equally wonderful staff! Additionally, there’s no other groomer that I can trust to take care of my doodles! They know me by name and I feel they appreciate my business.

Used the grooming service on our bulldog. The staff was very friendly and took good care of our dog.

I cannot sing the praises of the staff over here enough. My dog became VERY ill and I brought him to another vet that did a bunch of tests, gave him hydration and essentially just sent me home. Once home, his condition worsened and I was in great fear of losing my best friend of 14 years. I called Kleinpeter Vet Services, and explained my situation to which they immediately cleared room for him and told me to bring him in. They were able to stabilize my buddy and were able to get to the bottom of what was going on. He back home now, and back to his old self. Absolutely owe it to the professionals over here! ❤️

I have taken my pets there for years. I know they will always be well taken care of there. They love my pets almost as much as I do.

My Pekingese LOVES coming here. When she gets home, she’s exhausted and takes almost a day to recover. I don’t know what happens during daycare, but whatever it is, is immensely fun and enjoyable. I love knowing my baby is safe and having fun while I’m busy.

Donna Kleinpeter and the other vets do a wonderful job on your pets. They love them as you do. The entire staff work very, very hard to take care of you and your pet. You feel at home.

Until recently we have enjoyed our visits at Kleinpeter. For years we felt confident that our dog’s best interest were a priority of all the staff and recommended them to anyone we knew in need of a good veterinarian. Sadly, that has changed since the hiring of the new office receptionist. This lady (Bre) is VERY unprofessional and inconsiderate of your pets well being. From scheduling an appointment to picking up a prescription; every step in the process is now unprofessional and reminiscent of a Walmart customer service moment- gum smacking and nail claws included. I hate to think that we are now in need of a new veterinarian/boarding facility. I do appreciate the fact that in the latest miscommunication incident, there were staff members who showed concern and attempted to correct the problem- even as the unprofessional staff member continued to be argumentative over such a minor issue that she CREATED.

I had a german shepherd that the Kleinpeter staff took care of for over 13 years. This included boarding, surgery, shots and every day needs. They are now taken care of my Australian Shepherd who has Heart Worms. I wouldn’t think of going anyplace else, for my dogs needs, as these are my children !

Friendly staff/extremely clean and bright and well taken care of facility and grounds. No waiting on arrival and shown directly to room. Excellent hours also!

I have an 8 month old maltipoo and I had a really bad experience somewhere else and as a first time dog owner I knew I needed to find somewhere else to take him . I travel some with my job and I’m gone on weekends and I am so very happy I found Kleinpeter so now when I travel I don’t have to have anxiety and neither does Godfrey . Thank you so much for being exactly what I needed.

Most caring and compassionate stsff

I have only called here a few times and stopped by once to pick up some food but the lady on then phone was very very vibrant and kind and helpful! She offered to order anything that i wanted and offered very good pricing tho i have never brought my animals there the employees are very kind and seem to want to help!!!

When my dog Pepper was very sick on her death bed, I brought her to Kleinpeter Vet clinic. They saw her right away, listen to my concerns, and quickly made a diagnosis. She spent a few days at the hospital and I brought her home with a list of instructions. She is doing much better. If it weren't for the caring vets and techs there she would not be alive today.

We adopted our beloved Queen Isabella the cat from Kleinpeter’s Vet Hospital 13 years ago and they have taken excellent care of her since that time. When she recently developed an upset stomach problem and they couldn’t find the cause they didn’t hesitate to refer us to another hospital. Our daughter lives in Boston and when she comes home with her cat, she always gets her check ups at Kleinpeter’s. They always send reminders when it’s time for shots and it’s easy to schedule appointments online or by calling.

Dr. Kleinpeter and staff have been caring for our fur babies for about 20 years. She has been through happy and sad times with us and her compassion is unparalleled. I would highly recommend Kleinpeter Veterinary Hospital for your fur babies.

Wonderful doctors and efficient management. It is easy to get in and out. They genuinely care about you and your pets.

The care provided our GSD was the best I've experienced with 5 dogs over 45 years and multiple veterinarians. Routine office visits are quick and efficient but when more intensive care is required office hours don't matter. The best care you can get for your pet.

I just moved to Lousiana a few months ago and I've been trying to find a vet for my cat and dog this whole time. Another vet hospital never answered their phone so I tried this one to have my call answered immediately. They scheduled me on for the very next day, were super friendly, and they handled my animals well. My dog is 70 lbs of pure muscle and super excitable, and they didn't mind his loud barks and whines or even his jumping. They actually gave him hugs and scratches. My cat hates going anywhere in the car and his carrier, so he ended up hiding in a corner while my dog was tended to, and they were slow and gentle with him while checking his ears and giving him his vaccines. This location is fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone needing patient and kind vets for their animals. Theyre also incredibly thorough with their exams. I will definitely keep coming back here.
