I just had my 8 month old female mutt(mixed Hinez 57 breed) spayed yesterday. I made the appointment about 7 weeks ago because that's how backed up they were,, but that's understandable considering there aren't many options at their price.. but as far as the surgery goes so far all seems well. the staff was very informative, respectful, helpful and responsive. I ultimately went with baton rouge spay and nuter because of the price. you can't beat $100. my regular vet wanted $280, and the other vets I called were all between $160 and $350. and I simply cannot afford that. I personally think with the pet overpopulation problem there should be more cost friendly options when it comes to spaying and nutering. but I am glad I found baton rouge spay and nuter because overall we had a wonderful experience. I would most definitely recommend anyone needing to have their cat or dog fixed for a reasonable price to check out baton rouge spay and nuter!????????????

this facility is the best . I took my 2 fur babies here & they were treated good. both my babies surgeries were successful & recoveries were fast and great ... thanks to all the employees

They have been great. Trying to stop feral colonies isn't easy and they do everything possible to help. If you're not using them for yourself please consider donating to help them control the over population of animals.

Yes it was cheap but I can't say it was worth it. My poor little dog came home with an infection in her stitches and instead of a normal stitched up suture, it was all pinched and mangled and over 3 weeks later is STILL healing!! She also got mites in one ear while there. I get they do spay and neuter so so many dogs and cats but if you can afford to go to another vet, I would recommend you do so

We had our puppy(Cooper) neutered and they are wonderful there. ❤ Also very affordable.

Took my 3 year old pit bull here to get fixed. I was told he was gonna stay overnight. Once I got there they said oh u can get him after lunch. 2 hours after I dropped him off they called needing us to come get him bc he was to excited they was just rushing my dog out the door. They also told me to bring proof of shots witch I did. They still charged me 36 bucks for his shots witch he still had 4 months left. I bring him to my own vet I just wanted them to fix my dog. U get what u pay for. U pay cheap for your dog to be fixed you get cheap service. Will never be back.

I was super excited when I came across this seemingly too good to be true spay pricing, and it was just that. Too good to be true. I showed up at the time the receptionist told me to for cat spays, at 7:30. Because of covid restrictions, no one is allowed inside unless called upon by one of their techs. So I called the vet and got no answer. I also called the other phone number listed on a sign at the door. I stayed in the parking lot until 8:40, after calling MANY times just to get no answer. And on top of that when one of the techs was outside and walked near my car I tried to get her attention. She looked at me and then turned around and walked away. This is extremely unprofessional and I will not even be trying to get another appointment here. I drove an hour away from home for this too. Very disappointing.

Never had an issue with getting my pets fixed here and being a single mom that ends up with rescues it sure helps me afford getting them fixed

They are so efficient! Very positive experience. I absolutely recommend them for spay/neuter services. I've also been looking for a vet in town, so I will definitely consider the adjacent vet clinic also.

My local reduced-cost spay/neuter service location was closed due to covid-19. They recommended I try this place, so I did. The staff was very professional and friendly, and I felt confident in leaving my troublesome kitten (about a year old) with them to spay. Her incision looks clean, and she's doing great. I also appreciate that the staff made things painless and easy with the current social distancing guidelines (stay in car for drop off / pick up).

I called to get info & the lady that answered was lovely. I regret that I can't remember her name. She was very informative, helpful & kind. When I scheduled the girl's surgeries, she asked me what were my babies names. The right decision from the get go. Lovely ladies at the check in desk & excellent results. 2 days later I can barely see the incisions. Very grateful & very happy!.

I had my little one spayed a couple of weeks ago. Initially, I was nervous but the drop off staff was so friendly and reassuring. They called to give me an update to know that the surgery went well. When I came to pick her up the next day, Allison was so sweet and gentle with Nyla. She answered the questions that I had. I would recommend this place again.

Almost exactly a year ago I brought my youngest cat to be altered. He was home with me that evening and was tiptop shape. Not only are they incredibly low-proceed, but they're kind, too.

got my dog spayed here, and it went great! staff was so nice and her stitches looked neat and clean. I also like that they keep the spayed dogs overnight the first night - gave me a little more peace of mind. prices can't be beat! they also take the CAAWS spay coupon!
