Emory Animal Hospital Powell, Kentucky

I took my hamster (Puff) to Dr. Skelley at Emory Animal Hospital and I am so HAPPY I found this place! Best Vet since Doctor Butler Sr. was around!! I will always take my animals here! You can tell how Dr. Skelley and his staff talk that they really care about animals. He also has a lot of knowledge about small "pocket pets" that made me feel very comfortable taking my little hamster (Puff) to him. Also they charge almost 30$ less than a few other exotic vet doctors do in town which made it less stressful and more affordable to treat my little Puff. I'm not sure what I would of done had I not found Emory Animal Hospital! I am so thankful for Dr. Skelley and his team! And Puff LOVES her medicine! It taste like fruit so Puff tries to stuff the whole syringe in her cheeks and take it back to her little nest! lol! so sweet <3

The receptionist got the dates wrong! I asked the lady over the phone two times about date and time . But when I came over the clinic, they told me that my appointment scheduled on the next day. I think they can be more professional.

The doc & staff are fantastic... Clean working areas, Understanding an willing to communicate with people...& For those times decisions need to be made... The doc takes the time to explain all possible options... Thank you

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the team at this vet hospital was when I brought in my sick rabbit. I unfortunately had to put her to sleep. While taking all Covid precautions, they were caring, informative, and took time ti help us through the process. They were great and I appreciate all they did for my family.

Had my dog there for her nails to be cut down. They done the best job on her nails.

Warm, friendly vet who took great care of my 2 new kittens including 1 who is special needs. This vet spent lots of time with the kitties and made me feel very comfortable. I think we have a vet for life.

Dr Skelley and his team are great Dr Skelley and Emillie stood by me and comfort me while my Nemo went over the doggie rainbow. It was very fast and quick Nemo didn't feel no pain Dr Skelley will tell what your choices are and what's the best treatment for your pet is Dr Skelley and his team done great with Nemo who was 17 years and a shih Tzu yes he had a temper and was cranky I have 10 year part poodle and shish tzu she has a cherry eye produce no tears and he has treated her great with proper medication They are also great with guinea pigs to he treats my Reese and Hippie

Emory Animal Hospital Saved my pet's life! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have their pet treated. My chihuahua was lifeless for 4 days, she was very larthgic, they gave her an emergency surgery and on the second day she was up eating and back to normal and their prices are very very reasonable like I said I will highly recommend them to anyone. I absolutely love the place and the nurses and doctors are very nice and very explanatory!

I'm so thankful for ALL of the staff for making the vet experience so much less stressful for my bunny Gus Gus. I've been worried sick about him, and they've taken such good care of him...and ME. Gus Gus feels like royalty I'm sure when they get extra lovin's from the staff. They're not only amazing and very knowledgeable, but they're also more affordable than a lot of others in the area. I won't take mine anywhere else.

They was amazing with my pup!

When my doggie came to the end of his life my regular vet told me they couldn't work me in and that I could bring him in during walk in hours. So I called around. These people were so kind and compassionate, not only to my dog but also to me. When we got there all of the staff came up and petted him and when it was done, they all petted him. Even the vet. When I get another pet, this will be my new vet. They gave their kindness and compassion freely... which is priceless!

THE BEST VET IN POWELL!!!

Excellent veterinarian and vet techs. They came right to my car. My kitty was Not eating or drinking for 2 days and had nasty discharge from her eye and nose.I applaud Kim the receptionist Who handles so many calls and got my “Kizzy” in the next day. After her dose of antibiotics she is back to eating, drinking and her playful self. Thank you for being there for us.

They do a great job they're just a little pricey.
