I don’t trust my dog with just any kennel, I am constantly traveling and want him to be safe, loved on and cared about. If you’re looking for a place to board your dog you can stop looking! I’ve known about Birchwood Kennels for years and my family has been using them for years as well. I have a 2 year old black German Shepard named Royal and he’s so happy to go back every time!!

I was referred to Birchwood by my vet. I needed to move out of my current home, but my new house was not ready for anyone to live in it due to renovation delays. I had to go to a hotel and couldn't take all of my pets with me. I was having a hard time finding anyone who would board my 5 rabbits on short notice. 2 of them are babies and not fixed yet, so they needed to stay separated. No one had room and I was desperate. I practically begged my vet to take them, but they were on vacation the next week so they couldn't. They recommended Birchwood, and I was praying they could help because this was my last hope. David was so accommodating and worked with me as I continually had to extend the bunnies' stay and add one of my 3 dogs when the other boarder refused to be of anymore help. I can't remember exactly how long they stayed at Birchwood, but it was quite awhile for me to be away from my babies. I did stop by a few times to drop off supplies, and the girls were so sweet and updated me on how the bunnies were doing. I stayed in contact with David throughout the whole thing, and he was always more than willing to help take care of my pets when I couldn't. I highly recommend them for any pet!! My only regret is that I hadn't found them sooner, and saved myself the headache of calling several places that would agree to help me until they realized I needed to drop the bunnies off the next day indefinitely.

Birchwood staff are amazing people! The board & train program changed my puppy for the better. Professional and training that actually works. Highly recommended.

We absolutely love Birchwood Kennels! They always take such good care of our dog Chloe. She loves going there. I love that you can set up your reservations online now. It was an easy, quick process and you get a confirmation as soon as the dates are confirmed. Dave is great and he really cares about the animals that stay there. You won’t find a cleaner facility either. They regularly sanitize all the Kennels.

Great Doggie place. Wonderful staff. Clean and most of all they really love on your fur baby's. I highly recommend!!

We had to find a place quickly for our four dogs and David made sure we were taken care of! Our first experience was using their drop off service to leave our babies with them and it was exceptional. It really made all the difference. This was my first time ever boarding my fur babies and it was difficult for me but David stayed in contact with me and made sure I knew they were safe and loved. I’ll never take them anywhere else!!!

They took very good care of my senior fur baby. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality care of their family member

Birchwood Kennels is terrific. If you're looking to board or for daycare give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

My pup is currently at Birchwood. There's no true way for me to know how she's doing since I'm not there, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and the location is beautiful and very well taken care of. I did call to check up on my pup as I was worried never having left her before. The owner answered and raved on about how good she is. He even went as far as to send pictures of her having a good time. Not sure what the price is going to turn out to be, but everything else has been incredible so far.

Very sweet people, worked well with my very high anxiety dog. Had no problems dropping off or picking up. 10/10 would recommend and use again.

I was so nervous to send my dog with his hip issues among other issues, but they worked wonders despite his mats and treated him with gentleness. He looks adorable and I'm so grateful to have found such a great place. Thank you to Ashlyn and Tonya(groomers) and Dave (manager) So so kind to both myself and my baby!! My first call was met with kindness, was informative, and appreciative of my call! During grooming they called multiple times to keep me updated and informed of my baby's progress. My dog was a difficult client, but they met it with everything I would want for a special member of the family! I WILL be back!!

Both groomers did a wonderful job on my fur babies. The cut was fantastic and they came home ready to play. Thanks for a job well done!

My schnauzers best cut ever!!!!! I would highly reccomend this place. Most of Gracies cut havent looked much like a schnauzer, but the young lady that did it, did a wonderful job!!!!! Thankyou.and i will be bk.Lord willing

This is the best place to kennel up your dogs. Friendly staff that give love to your pets.

Had our 2 girls stay overnight this past weekend. The staff was super friendly and we totally felt comfortable with their care. On site grooming had them smelling great and nails clipped at a great value. Definitely will bring them back the next time we need boarding!

I wouldnt trust my baby with anyone else.

I would not leave my big fur baby with anybody else but Birchwood kennels. Dave and the crew are number one.

Not sure about this place. Dave seems friendly but when we picked our dogs up after 2 nights they were very thirsty and most of there food was left. I didn't like the fact that you couldn't see what was on the other side of the door where they take the dogs to. Not going back.

Very clean and the care takers are wonderful.. Would definitely recommend.

Home like environment and friendly staff that will truly love and care for your dog while you're gone plus they have training by Courtney, doggie daycare for dogs that can't be at home by themselves or puppies who need extra walks during the day or escape artist who need to be supervised and there's grooming thats ME!! All breeds!! haircuts, bathing, dremeled Nails, ears plucked and cleaned, and also anal glands expressed we also have a maintenance plan please feel free to ask we have medicated shampoos for $5 extra for any type of skin issue and now have teeth brushing and spray for $8 that you can add on . please stop by and meet our staff!!

Won't take my dogs anywhere else. Another kennel actually recommend them.

I ENDED UP LEAVING CAPE CORAL, FL DUE TO HURRICANE IRMA & ENDED UP IN KNOXVILLE, TN WITH MY DAUGHTER' FAMILY. WE BOARDED MY GIRLS, ABBEY & MAGGIE AT BIRCHWOOD KENNELS. THEY WERE WONDERFUL!!! THEY TREATED MY PUPS WITH "KID GLOVES"!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS KENNEL TO ANYONE THAT EXPECTS ONLY THE BEST FOR THEIR CANINE FAMILY MEMBERS❗❗????????????????????????????

I live in Cincinnati, but my Dad lives in Knoxville. When my Dad and I travel together, I always take my dogs to Birchwood to board. I could board them here in Cincinnati, but I am really comfortable leaving them with Dave and his crew. I've been boarding there for several years and my dogs are always in great shape when I pick up. Hopefully we'll be back for Thanksgiving.

They always take amazing care of my beagle. When she gets there, she walks in like she owns the place she loves it so much.

#birchwoodkennels took such great care of our two German shepherd puppies. It was the first time we boarded them, so it was kind of hard. The owner, Dave was so reassuring and took us on a tour of the kennels and talked about their routine with all the dogs. The place was clean and well organized. The owner sensed my wife's worry about leaving the dogs. He sent pictures and text us to let us know they were doing great. When we picked them up, it was obvious that the pups had been given a fresh bath, which was so nice! We would definitely recommend #birchwoodkennels and will use them again in the future as needed.

Always have the best service when taking my dogs there. They take care of them as if they were their own. Always friendly and accommodating.
