I took my dog to Washpaw for several years and was even a member. Then suddenly one day when I called to make a grooming appointment, they told me they were full for the next 6 months. They refused to tell me when they might have an opening and kept insisting that other clients had just gone ahead and booked every appointment for the rest of the year. I was never given that option and was extremely frustrated that they were so rude. The groomer did a decent job in the past, but their rude customer service forced me to look for another groomer. I even followed up 6 months later and received the same story again. This is not how you handle a loyal customer who had been consistently coming and tipping generously since before “all of your appointments filled up.” Don’t waste your time with Washpaw.

I took my cat here for a bath and brush. The woman who picked up my cat from the car was very friendly towards me and my cat. The groomer even texted me to tell me how well she was doing which comforted me. She was there for about 90 mins. and she was ready to go before the time the groomer said to pick her up. My cat has white fur and when I saw her she was brighter than snow and her fur was very soft. I also loved that they gave her a little bow which I can't get over how cute it looks ???? Will be bringing my cat here again for regular groomings.

When they were good, they were very good, but when they were bad they were awful! Jagged nails, did not smell freshly bathed. They blamed MY DOG because his nails were poorly trimmed. He was just to big for their 90 pound groomer!

Can’t say enough about my experience with WashPaw. Today was my pup’s first ever visit there and we’re already scheduling his next. This was his first time to any groomer actually. I’ve got an 8 month old English Bulldog and let’s just say he is a handful. He’s stubborn, hyper, wiggly, and does what HE wants. So I was really apprehensive about how the groomer may react to him. Well, they handled him PERFECTLY. They not only did everything I asked, they were on time, professional, and even complimented my dude at the end. The service was second to none and I really really appreciate how well they handled what could not have been an easy wash. Frank came home smelling good, looking good, and feeling good. I just hope the groomer did too!

I honestly had such an incredible experience with WashPaw! It's our first summer with our cat, and she is shedding like a fiend. A friend recommended getting her groomed to help, so I started researching local places that groomed cats and ended up going with WashPaw. Noodle didn't come out traumatized, and my groomer (I didn't get her name, and I so regret it now) even gave me some incredibly helpful tips for bathing her at home. Such a reasonable price for a de-shedding treatment, plus they cleaned her ears, trimmed her nails, and sent her home with the cutest little bow. I highly recommend WashPaw!

I had an appointment today for my dog, when I got there she informed me the shot record from our vet wasn’t good enough, they needed a rabies certificate. However, when I called yesterday and asked if a shot record from our vet was okay, I was told yes. She told me to call my vet and see if they had his rabies vaccine certificate which they responded with no, just the shot records they could send. When I told the washpaw employee what they had told me at the vet, her response was “that’s not true.” She then showed me a picture of a vaccine certificate… which helps how? I had already said the shot records were all I had. She just stood there looking at her iPad offering nothing else.

I am a little confused...I called to see if Washpaw serviced Sphynx, I was told yes and to make the appointment online. When doing so, Sphynx is not listed as a breed on the appointment page, and it states that if the breed is not listed then they do not service?? Sphynx are a delicate breed, I would like to hope that the facility is knowledgeable about the breed prior to bringing her in. Thanks

We made an online appointment for grooming for our German Shepherd, having been here in the past for grooming of our dog by their professional groomers. I entered all of her information, and I did notice that they had an entry for German shepherd mix but not German Shepherd, I submitted her vet records which states that she’s a German Shepherd so they could confirm her vaccinations. Our appointment was confirmed 24 hours later. When we arrived for our appointment 1 week later, we were told that they no longer groom German Shepherd‘s and several other large breeds. They say this is due to an insurance issue. The staff member I spoke to had groomed our sweet shepherd 6 months earlier. This change is not at all clear from the website. Staff said that I should’ve known because there wasn’t a choice for German Shepherd and the only choice was German shepherd mix. This doesn’t make a lot of sense to me that a GS mix is ok... I Suggested that they update their website and make it a bit more clear that they don’t actually groom a number of large breed dogs. They stated it was my fault. It was a misunderstanding but I didn’t appreciate the response that they wouldn’t update their website to be more clear. Just beware they don’t do many large breed dogs so you don’t wait for an appointment like we did....

Lack of professionalism, when asking for a manager. The woman on the phone directed me to their website. I emailed the contact that she gave me and have still not received anything back. There has been nothing but rude responses from these people.

The self service wash works perfectly for me. My dog has anxiety issues so dropping & leaving him somewhere is NOT an option.

I liked the bath area very much. The staff was extremely helpful. The price is good and they have good equipment and bath products so I will return for the wash.

I cannot say enough about this place. My papijack, and maltipoo always come home happy, and in great spirits. Moving to Nashville I was nervous about finding a new groomer. I am beyond pleased with Washpaw! My papijack, Dwight Schrute, was born deaf and they are sensitive to that which makes it easier for me leave him. Not only do they take care of my pups, they do it on a timely manner, their cost are reasonable, and they have taken every precaution during COVID-19. Rest assured you’re fur babies will be in great hands with them!

Poor communication skills! Had a positive experience in the past but recently, it was a disaster! Staff member would not listen to my concerns and continued to talk over me. Told me one thing on the phone then after I had prepaid , one thing different at my arrival. I had recommended this business to several of my peers before this last experience. I will not be returning. It's a shame because the staff was excellent on my first visit.

I cannot recommend WashPaw enough! This is the only place I will ever take my dog. The staff are extremely skilled, compassionate, and attentive to detail. They treat your pets like family.

WashPaw is a nice little local self-service dog wash. They also have full grooming, though I have not used it. For a flat rate, you are able to use their facility (no clean up!) and they provide you with a brush, shampoo, drying towels, blow dryer. All the things you need to get the dog bath taken care of. They also clean out your dogs ears and clip their nails with the service price. There are other add on that you can enjoy for additional charges. Great place, helpful staff. Will be back!

Absolutely amazing place! My pup is super clean and happy, in his adorable Halloween themed bandana. They are also taking COVID precautions of wearing a mask and picking up your dog from the car. Definitely coming back here!

gentle and attentive groomers! hands down the best grooming experience for both my girls and myself! We were scarred from bad experiences with other groomers (injuries, not listening to our haircut requests) but we were thrilled to see our pups had been given the star treatment and looked beautiful! 10/10

We've been on the hunt for a quality groomer since relocating to Nashville 6 months ago. WashPaw provided very detailed and specific instructions ahead of time, very communicative staff, and our boy was happy and healthy after his visit. Definitely coming back again!

I took my dog to get her nails trimmed here today and I am SO PLEASED!! My dog HATES getting her nails trimmed, and WashPaw made it so quick, easy, and did an awesome job. It was easy to book an appointment ahead of time (because of Covid, you have to do that, but that was fine with me), and they had good signs when I got there that told you what to do. The technician came out and gave me the option of coming in while she clipped Poppy’s nails, but I let her just take my dog in. A few minutes later, Poppy returned with beautifully clipped nails!!! The price was great too. I’ll be back when I need her nails trimmed again!
