Pawsitively Purrfect Nashville, Kentucky

My standard poodle Duke had not been to a professional groomer in six years after a really horrible experience with another groomer. Wanting to take another chance for the Christmas season, I read reviews for groomers in the Nashville area. I read up on all the reviews on Pawsitively Purrfect and decided to take a chance and I am so happy I did! I called Brad before and asked so many questions and he took the time to answer every singleone in a professional and knowledgeable way. my dog was completed in a timely manner, and he looked how I had asked and it was priced very reasonably. I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care and he came home not stressed and oriented well. We will definitely return! The fact that my rescue and 11 year dog was safe and looked great is an amazing feeling! Thank you Pawsitively Purrfect!

Had a very easy time getting an appointment within a reasonable time. I went take my long haired cat to get groomed since she had some matting we couldn't remove. The staff was super nice and helpful answering my questions about how they are groomed.

Omg,today was my fur baby Juicy's first time at the groomers. I was so nervous but Brad and his staff are SUPER NICE!!! Brad explained everything that was going to happen and totally put my nerves at ease! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Just made our first trip there yesterday. Got her back in the time frame given and she smells so good! I don't know what doggie cologne you all use but I'm obsessed ????

I have an honorary old Long haired calico cat that refuses to be groomed. She doesn’t much like to be touched. Pawsitively Perfect is an answer to my prayers. She had two sessions to get her first lion cut shave down completed. But both sessions were very quick. This limited both her and my anxiety. I was very nervous at first for both my cat and the groomer. But the groomer was so professional and he put me at ease immediately. And, my cat truly did not cop an attitude with me after her appointment. Actually, she was so much happier to have all of that matted hair removed she was exceptionally loving for the following week. Win-win! I Highly recommend Pawsitivrly Perfect!

Love this place, easy to schedule an appointment, and they call you 1 day before to remind and confirm. My dog smells like grapes ???? after the shower haha

Very friendly staff and we are very happy with the service as well! I only wish there were more available slots for big dogs on the weekends.

Have tried everything with my cats to get their claws trimmed and caps put on... Have had to resort to going to the vet and getting them anesthetized to be able to do it, until I found Pawsitively Purrfect!!! I have no idea how but she had no problem taking care of them with no sedation needed!!! Prices are extremely reasonable especially compared to what I was paying before!!!! So happy to have found this place, she's a cat whisperer!!!

Great place they get my dogs in and out...

They took great care of my cat and did a very nice job mowing down that mess of tangled hair she had. She seemed relaxed when I picked her up, which is a great sign.

I cant say enough great things about this groomer!!! We rescued our dog at the beginning of Covid and wasn't sure where to take him to get groomed. We tried several places but weren't completely satisfied AND wanted to support a local/small business groomer. After searching, I finally found Pawsitively Purrfect! Their prices are great, the staff and groomers are all so wonderful and are great with our dog! He loves going and always looks perfect when he leaves here. They listen to your requests and follow up with questions/services that you had previously to make sure your best fur friend gets the best care/groom experience. I will definitely be taking him here from here on out and would HIGHLY recommend this groomer!

My pug came back soooo clean, happy, and relaxed after his first spa appointment with Pawsitively Purrfect. In case you don’t believe me, I’m posting a picture to prove it. Not to mention he smelled AMAZING. We will definitely be returning!

Took my dog for a short hair trim ,yes he came out with a nice hair trim that also took 5 hours and came out with bleeding marks all over him this was also his 2 time being there

Very disappointing experience. My cat has been to many groomers in his life and I have never had an issue or complaint about him in eight years of twice yearly lion cuts. He has even been to this place before, in April, with no issues. After the groomer called to tell me they could only do half of the job, I thought it was strange because again, never had a problem before in eight years, but figured okay, maybe he’s in a bad mood or there was a weird dog smell or something. It happens, I guess. Photo attached. I brought him back for a follow up appointment and AGAIN they were unable to finish his grooming! Not only was this terribly inconvenient as it’s not like I have all the time in the world to keep bringing my cat to the groomer, I still ended up with a cat without a complete grooming job AND they had the nerve to charge me full price! After failing to do the job not once, but twice! I don’t know if their groomer is new or inexperienced with cats or if their environment is just inhospitable to cats overall. Either way, I would NOT recommend this groomer for your cat. I will say that I’ve given this review two stars instead of one solely because the receptionist was a kind and friendly person. So maybe it’s a good spot for dogs. EDIT: well, I wrote this review immediately upon leaving the groomer. I am updating now because they didn’t close his carrier properly and he escaped during my drive home! Fortunately, as I said before he is a pretty chill cat so he curled up at my feet the whole way. See photo. Nevertheless, this is EXTREMELY dangerous and I can’t believe the level of unprofessionalism from this place all around. Who doesn’t make sure the carrier is properly shut?? I have never had to double check this for a vet or groomer in my life! Unfortunately, this additional absurdity is bringing my review down to one star. I would not trust this place!

Charged more than they quoted and then shaved him way more down than we thought they were Going to.

They forgot one of my cats. I dropped off two Maine Coones today to be groomed/bathed. When I came back to pick them up, I was handed the carrier and was told they did wonderful. When I got home and opened the carrier one of my cats was missing.

Very pleasant. Dog liked it and I think the dog looked great.

My dog has not been the same since I picked him up from his haircut on Saturday. He has razor burn on his belly which he keeps licking so he is now in a cone of shame to keep it from getting infected. He was very clingy after I picked him up and I can’t exactly say why as there is no direct view of the grooming area, but when I walked by the back door on my way from the parking garage I heard someone yell at a dog for crying/barking. There’s no excuse for that. I dropped my dog off a little before 2pm and he wasn’t ready until 6 (an hour after they closed). The area is nice but there isn’t much close by so you can’t run errands while waiting. I’ll find a new place to take my dog.

I absolutely love PP!! I drive 30-40 minutes and will only go there for grooming services. Both of my Yorkies have been going there since they’ve been puppies. They take such good care of my girls. They take pride in their work and I appreciate it so much. I always get compliments on their cuts, always. Brad and his wife are amazing and worth going to...100%.

We have been bringing our Maltipoo to Pawsitively Purrfect for over a year, they are so great! Very informative, detailed, & professional! They also do a great job of doing exactly what we ask for, like if I want my pups ears trimmed shorter than what is the “normal style”! They do book up quick so prebooking is a good idea unless you’re okay sometimes waiting a couple weeks to get an appointment!

I was skeptical at first because I read a negative review of this place from a week before, and this was my first visit for my cat. I felt out the place and I actually asked them about the review, and they were incredibly kind and communicated well about it. My fears were listened to and my cat, who was in admittedly bad shape, got a great shave in a very timely manner, and was treated well. He is extremely happy and so am I! Thank you!

After reading all the good reviews here, I decided to give Pawsitively Purrfect a try by first going to get my dog's nails trimmed (which not a lot of grooming places offer as a walk-in amenity so that for sure piqued my interest). I was so impressed by how the crew handled him with that experience that I made an appointment to get my dog groomed. Just picked him up from his appointment today and I must say I am SUPER impressed! I showed pictures and explained how I would like him cut and they did a phenomenal job matching my requests. My dog's breed is prone to mats and I really appreciate the time they took explaining to me the best way to maintain his fur at home. I've never had another groomer do that. You can tell they are very knowledgeable about the grooming business and care for your pet. I'm positively pleased to have found Pawsitively Purrfect!

I just moved to the area and heard they were great. They were awesome!! They were very friendly and I knew they would take great care of Zoe, my pug. They did an awesome job grooming her as well. Will definitely be the only place I go! Highly recommend!
