Westside Vet is an efficient and affordable animal service.They listen well and diagnose with great accuracy. The 1-2 times they were unsure they admitted that and I got respect for their humility..

I am from Florida and my dog was injured and they were great about getting me in doing x-rays and informing me of his injuries and what needed to be done and prescribed medication to keep him comfortable.

I appreciate the excellent care our Charlie receives. Even when we need an unscheduled appointment, we can usually be seen within 24 hours.

When I called to compare prices to get my cat nuterted most things were placard. Very little was included with thw neuter. All shots were individual prices even thw pain medication for after his procedure. Answering staff was courteous and professional

Our dog has been experiencing coughing that had only gotten worse in last few days. Called today on a Saturday of all days and they made effort to see our dog as early as possible in between scheduled appointments. Very friendly and professional staff that got us squared away in less than an hour. We may just change them to our regular vet based on the kindness we received today! Very grateful for the way they worked with us.

We just went there to get a flea pill for our 2furr babies. The nurse was extremely helpful

I love Westside. Dr. Salley is the best.

Our family dog was 10 years old, a blue heeler - he took meds to prevent seizures, but still sometimes had bouts. He started a round of seizures, we took the necessary steps, but still felt like he was in too much distress - The doctor met us at Westside after hours, and they kept our good boy overnight, sedated him so he could rest comfortably, and did blood work and x-rays first thing in the morning. Sadly, he suddenly began coughing up blood, and the x-rays showed unexplained bleeding filling his lungs. He passed away soon after, before we could even make it to the clinic - we were heartbroken!!! The doctor was so kind, she took us inside and showed us the x-rays, explaining everything that she could, and admitting the cause of the bleeding was something she couldn't explain - his blood wasn't clotting, as if he had ingested some type of poison, she said. Just her response to the situation and emotional support meant SO much as we processed that my boyfriend had just lost his best friend of 10 years, and I had lost my favorite secret-keeping cuddle buddy - the loss of a furry family member is tragic and difficult, like losing anyone else in your family, but the compassionate way that Westside handled our loss made it so much easier to handle the shock of this unexpected, sudden moment, and I will always be grateful for that!! Thank you guys SO much for taking care of our furry family members, and for caring so much about what you do ????

My 11 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Lucky pays a frequent visit to Westside. Dr. Jackson and Dr. Salley have been direct and professional. I love going into the vet with Lucky, but I appreciate that he can be dropped off and picked up at a later time. His most recent visit was due to intermittent diarrhea. Dr. Salley recommended the Hill’s Prescription intestinal diet. It has helped a great deal. Thank you!

My 8 month-old dog all of a sudden had really bad diarrhea for the past few days, which suddenly got a lot worse one night. My vet couldn't get him in right away so I'd been just monitoring him for a few days, but at this point I call Westside's after hours line and leave a message, the worried first-time dog owner I am. I get a call back from some guy vet, who basically tells me it could be a plethora of things but the main worry would be dehydration. My dog still has a huge appetite and is drinking a lot of water as always, so I know that's not a worry I have right now. He says I could still bring him in anyway if I wanted. Of course at this point I'm relieved and explain that I'll just keep watch and bring him in if I notice anything getting worse and as soon as I say that, the vet hangs up on me. It's extremely disappointing to me that this vet couldn't even give me any sort of a bye, but instead just hung up on me. I sure hope I never have any after-hours needs again, because this behavior was frankly disappointing and very unprofessional.

We love this place. The staff if very helpful and our boys are always ready to go inside! That says a lot to me.

They got my girl in the same day and put me on the right track to her recovery.. Best vets in town...
