This morning I brought my two kittens in and the lady asked if I wanted them tested for leukemia I said I brought them 3 months ago and I believe they was tested then. I had asked her to check for me and she said she would. Not only did she not give me an answer back but she never gave me the results and charged me $30 for each kitten. So for the total visit I was charged $300 just for my kittens vaccines and that leukemia test that I never agreed too. Also when my kittens got the vaccines three months ago I was in the room and was able to see it. This time they took them to another room and I wasn’t able to see. How can I trust they really got the vaccines ??? My experience today was non professional and I will never bring them back to this place again or any VCA. I think they charged way to much. I could have went to Affordable veterinary of Mount Juliet and spent $180 for both kittens.

If you are ONLY looking for routine visits, this is your place. If your pet ever has an emergency or gets sick from time to time, have a back up plan. I am on my 2nd "my dog is sick" call and denial of help. I used VCA where I used to live, and was excited to have the same vet group when I moved. We have decided to take our dog to an alternative vet. Because when I call to say he is super sick, I cant handle being told they can see him in 3 days due to already scheduled appointments.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and kind. I especially appreciated how they gave me a price breakdown of all services to be provided beforehand so I knew how much the cost would be and was able to select the services I wanted completed and which ones I did not. They followed up next day checking on my pet and lab results were related to me within 24 hours of our appointment. I felt taken care of and valued here and you can't beat the prices. I definitely recommend this place

VCA Mt Juliet was so helpful to us when we needed someone that day. They worked us in and my dog is all the better for it. Front desk person and staff were very kind and helpful. We recently moved here and needed a new veterinarian. So glad I stumbled upon VCA on the internet.

I don't generally write reviews for companies online, but I felt the need to speak out about the amazing care we received at VCA Mt. Juliet! The team of caring, kind, and compassionate employees and veterinarians truly made our experience remarkable. Our cat, Smoky, was in desperate need of emergency care and the team took him in even though the schedule was completely full. As COVID rages on, the team allowed for contactless payment directly from my phone, as well as picked Smoky up from my car. Even after we left the vet, and Smoky was all better, the team called repeatedly to check on him in the following week. Even though Mt. Juliet is 30 minutes from my apartment downtown, I will never go anywhere else. Thank you VCA!

RECOMMEND 1000%!! I recently moved to the Nashville area and I’ve tried a few other vets in the area but they didn’t quite feel like the right fit. My cat had a wellness visit with Dr. O’Connell, first appointment ever with her and I wanted to address some of her behavior, emotional and activity changes that have been happening lately. I have never had a vet who was so willing to listen to all, and I mean ALL, of my concerns and questions. But Dr. O’Connell not only listened to my concerns she also never made me feel like I was waisting her time, or that my concerns weren’t valid. I never felt rushed, she gave me her full and undivided attention. She took the time to address every concern I had for my cats physical and emotional health. Since her first (and only so far) appointment with me I’ve made a few calls to her office with other questions, Dr. O’Connell and the VCA staff have gone above and beyond all expectations I’ve ever had of a vet. Dr. O’Connell personally made the post appointment follow up call, other previously vets usually just have whoever is in the office that day make the call. The VCA staff and Dr. O’Connell have gone out of their way for us and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found a vet (and company) who values and cares for my cat just as I do. The entire staff at VCA and Dr. O’Connell are very special people who treat your pet as their own. If it came down to it I would drive any distance to keep her (and team) as my vet. Thank you all!! Tilly and I are lucky, thrilled and so grateful to have a vet and company as amazing as all of you are!

Took cat in thinking only needed a few teeth pulled cause they state he may have gum disease. They wanted to offer a 1200 dollar Care plan $45 a month which all I wanted was xrays and flea treatment. Had me thinking only all was done he would be fine. But ended up THE WORSE !!! He took home antibiotics and flea pill. Pill didn't help. Cat was 14lbs ended up more serious than what was told at 1st. Weeks later went to another vet say he had uclers than one other quoted tumor he then was 9lbs. I wish one just give you what you ask for instead Grooming kit, and monthly needs. Cool if I ask for all. But I feel All was misdiagnosed, which I would done more if I knew this situation was Cancer instead of just infestion. One doc say ulcers in mouth at another location, then say tumor. Wish I had better judgement cause I loved my cat. If I known it was deadly.

This clinic was able to see my dog as a walk-in after she got attacked at a dog park. Our regular vet clinic had already closed for the day. I was super grateful they welcomed us in on a Saturday, near closing time. The staff was very friendly and took great care of my dog.

I have a 12 week old Labrador retriever and I had gotten her when she was 9 weeks old. I took her in for her 8 week shots and I provided my puppy’s vaccine history as well. They gave my puppy her shots and they also had a fecal exam done. They called me four days later to tell me that my dog had Giardia which is a parasite in dogs and that she would need to start treatment. I called the previous breeder and she said none of her puppies or dogs had it and they had just gone to the vet. So I decided to get a second opinion. I took my puppy to another vet closer to my house and they did a fecal exam and it came back negative. They also informed me that VCA Mt. Juliet should not have given my dog shots since her last vaccine was done on March 16, 2020 and I went in on March 26, 2020, meaning her shots were 10 days apart and you are suppose to get their shots every 3 weeks. I feel this place is out for your money and should have listened to the reviews before taking her to this place.

Waited 1-1/2 hrs just for them to look at my cat's ears. We could not go in so I have no idea what they were doing. Two pets came AFTER mine and were taken care of 1st. Dr called me but phone didnt ring, I called back and they wanted to take a message. OMGOSH!! They took my papers to put info into system and then never gave them back. Now they have to mail them. Very unprofessional group.

I have definitely changed my mind regarding VCA. in the last few months I have been through countless new doctors for my pets. Dr. Gordon Mckenzie was great, but transferred. There seems to be excessive turnover here. Jeremy is great, only one I still know there.

The staff is friendly and the facility is great, but this company is 100% just out to get your money. I have taken my two dogs and one cat here, and I have consistently been sold services I didn’t need and charged a ridiculous amount of money for them. The final straw was this morning, when I received a text saying I needed to schedule a follow up appointment to have my dog’s eyes rechecked. At her annual checkup about two weeks ago, the vet expressed no concern over her eyes and no one said anything about scheduling a follow up appointment for them. Fortunately I’m moving soon and was planning on switching vets anyway, but even if I wasn’t, I would not return to this or any VCA facility, and I would not recommend them.

Update: I received a call from management stating they would credit our account for what we paid to get our dog well. We boarded her again and had a much better experience. ???? I’ve been boarding my dogs here for years and feel like the service and care has went down. I have been informed incorrectly about pricing for things and after spring break my dog after picking her up she was diagnosed with kennel cough. When I picked her up she was starving and I had to come to the conclusion that she had not been fed that day. So sad to find another boarding facility.

These folks have lovingly and competently taken care of 4 dogs for us over the last decade. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

The staff all seem like really great people from the person who answers the phone to the vets. I've taken my adopted dog there a couple of times due to kennel cough when we first got her. The vets came out to the car to take care of her both times to keep the other animals from being exposed. I thought that was really smart. Our dog is doing great now and I'll definitely take her back in the future if needed.
