My entire family has fur babies, and we take all of them here and have been for years. Kind staff, great place.

We recently switched vets after moving further outside Nashville proper. We love Countryside Animal Hospital. They are punctual, kind and their prices are fair. We’re grateful for their care of our middle aged pupper.

Called the office this am to bring my very sick pet in to be checked out. We have been going to countryside since he opened and have taken all our pets to them. This mourning was a nightmare I was told they could not see my pet because they were to busy and I would have to take him somewhere else keep in mind we have used them forever but no more. Poor customer service, not concerned about my pet,not responsive to my pets needs or anything else. You can bet they will not get another dollar from me.

Very courteous and professional. The staff is caring and responsive. I drive close to 45 minutes even though there are a number of clinics in Smyrna. Hands down my "go to" place for animal care.

I had to bring my best buddy yesterday to have him put to sleep. The vet and technician were very compassionate and understanding and treated Tigger with the utmost respect. They both carried him out to the car and were very sympathetic to my needs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help in this most difficult time.

I have now been to Countryside Animal Hospital on two different occasions. Both times I had two different veterinarians. They were both incredibly professional and helpful. I don’t remember the male vet’s name I saw the first time, but he was great. Dr. Darwin, who I saw on my more recent visit was exceptional. She took her time with my dog. Looked my dog over and seemed to genuinely be concerned about the conditions which I brought my dog in for. Dr. Darwin also came back into the exam room and went over directions for each medication my dog was to be given. I thought this was especially great considering a tech could have done this. She also answered all my questions and listened to all my concerns. I highly recommend Countryside.

This is THE BEST VETERINARIAN'S. I have always taken my animals to them for everything ❤ and have never been disappointed. I have one dog who LOVES going to see themm she talks to everyone and they remember her and pet her and even give her treats, I have boarded my 2 dogs with themalso and I know that my fur babies are very well taken care of and spoiled ???? sometimes I feel they don't want to come home , cause they were so well loved. So I would give them 1,000,000.00 stars ???? ???? and 2 thumbs up ???? great place.

Top notch. The vets and the techs are all highly professional, caring, responsive. I have two Italian Greyhounds, an older one with some chronic health issues and a puppy who sustained a major injury. I have some serious peace of mind knowing what high quality care they receive here.

This vet was great 9 years ago when Mount Juliet was small and the population was as well. Since Mount Juliet has grown so much over the last decade they have not scaled their business to reflect the growth. Calling to schedule appointment for your pets can only be done weeks in advance and even trying to find an appointment with a vet tech for a nail trim is a chore. Couple this with receptionists that act as though your business is a burden and with attitude. We've taken our pets elsewhere. There are finally other options for Veterinary care in MJ and Id suggest if you are a new client, look elsewhere.

Real Professionals here. Saved my entire family from contacting a bacterial eye infection. My Lil Bit's right eye turned completely white overnight. Another vet told me that it was a side effect of diabetes and nothing else would help. After 3 days of eye drops his eye is clear and he can see again! Thanks you Countryside!

I used to think highly of Countryside and would not hesitate to recommend them. However, since having my dog euthanized there a couple months ago, I question whether their sincerity is genuine. This may not apply to all doctors there, but something really rubbed me the wrong the way. They sent me a sympathy card signed by several employees which is pretty typical I assume, but it was like a month later. And it’s not the timing of it, but the doctor who did the euthanasia didn’t even sign the card, nor did the doctor that had treated her the most during her visits. The owner signed it which is cool, but I’d been a client there for a long time and they were both very familiar with my dog and myself as well. Lord only knows how many times I’ve been there and how much money I’ve spent due to her off an on health issues. Now this may not be a big deal to some, but like I said, it was just off putting. I know the doctors are very busy and all, but if I was a veterinarian, being a part of this would be of the utmost importance to me. Not to mention they had almost a month to do it. Just my two cents…

We've been taking our dogs and cats to Countryside for over 10 years. They can no longer handle emergencies because they've taken on too many clients. What is the point of having a regular vet that can't meet your pets' needs in an emergency?

They got me in right away with my sick pup and took care of my pup very well.

The vets here are absolutely amazing. They are reasonably priced. 110% absolutely no complaints on how they care for the pets they see. The ONLY complaint I have is getting in! My dog had an emergency, I called, they said they couldn’t see him. They told me to call the next morning at 7am, and they would call me back when they could fit him in. That night, I took him to another clinic where they told me my only options were to put him down, or amputate his leg. The next morning I called, like I was told at 7am, and was told that a doctor called out, they wouldn’t be able to fit me in. I asked her if I could just email the X-rays the other clinic took, them just take a look at them, just to see if those were in fact my only options. She told me no problem. They didn’t even email me back... No phone call or anything. My dog is currently getting his leg amputated in another veterinary clinic as I’m typing this. It was extremely unprofessional to just ignore me in a situation like this.

I first went to Country Side when my 16 year old feline became sick suddenly. My cat passed away that day due to feline cardiomyapathy (sp), but it wasn't for lack of care received. The Vet on duty twice performed CPR before coming to ask my permission to stop because it was not going to change the outcome. It did give us enough time to say our goodbyes to our sweet boy. I have since taken all my animals and been very happy with the care received. This is such a caring and compassionate group. I recently lost my dog to Cancer. When I was told, Dr. Darwin was the sweetest while delivering the awful and unexpected prognosis of this disease. As long as I have pets, Countryside will be my Vet.

It's a great place to take your pets

The vets are good and I have no complaints of that. The business side is poorly run and it is impossible to get in to see a vet. Available appointments are always a ways out and if you call in the morning to get on the waitlist you better start calling the second they are open. If it’s that hard to get an appointment for a well/yearly appointment, my concern is if I did have an emergency with my fur baby I wouldn’t be able to get in especially since I was told the waitlist is primarily for emergencies. They take too many patients for the availability of there drs. I called another highly ranked vet and they were able to get me an appointment in a reasonable time. I would not recommend this vet until they get a better managing or realistic view of how many animals they can take care of.

I love this place. All of the vet techs and doctors are kind and compassionate. They were so good to me when I had to put my cat down. They were very helpful to us when our dogs had back injuries, also. Everything is always explained very well and I feel very confident that my pets are getting the best care with Countryside.

Took our puppy in today for his second round of shots. The ladies were so sweet with him and did a great job of distracting him from the shots, fecal test, and nail clippings. Services were also very affordable, and everything was Covid safe. Highly recommend.
