Dr. Hewitt has been our vet for over 14 years. He and his staff are unbelievable compassionate, and handle all situations with empathy. Very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them for all your 4 legged family members. For over 40 years I have used the standard of the "True Gentleman" to measure how well individuals perform. Dr. Hewitt and his staff reflect the values of the True Gentleman. The staff is real nice

My cat was apparently having a bad day or a bad dream which turned him into a temporary scaredy cat, and left me thinking he was going crazy or even worse. I make an appointment to see Dr. Hewitt and he was given a clean bill of health otherwise. I appreciate that my cats health was important to them, and my concerns became their concerns. They genuinely care about animals and not how much money they can make off of a worrisome situation.

These people are in it for the right reasons. I would never take my animal anywhere else (unless an emergency). Someone brought a very sick and starving young cat to the shelter and my daughter just happened to be there. She fell in love so it became a family member. The poor little thing was so so sick it couldn’t even stand up. This was our first animal so we had no clue as to where to begin. For some reason I was lead to Dr. Hewitt. Best decision I ever made. I would think that most doctors would just look at this little thing and say, I’m sorry but it’s too far gone. Not Dr. Hewitt. I don’t think that thought ever crossed his mind. He had it on iv’s and did all he could for 3 and 1/2 WEEKS until he found something that would work. In the back of my mind I thought, my bill will be like 4 or 5 thousand dollars. But, we both had fallen in love so we were there to stay. His office staff kept me informed every step. Everyone was honestly concerned. It was time for us to take her home and we were so excited. I went in to pay the bill and after being there, him using all his medication and his time for over 3 weeks, my bill was $60. I cried. How could someone do this for a person they did not even know. Someone just off the street with a sick animal that was asking for a miracle? His office staff are a God sent. They let me bring the little thing for two weeks afterward to the office so they could watch it on my way to work and pick it up on my way home every day just out of the goodness of their hearts because they didn’t want the little thing to be home by itself. If you are looking for a veterinarian, you really need to go by Dr. Hewitt ‘s office and meet these wonderful people. You have nothing to loose. But, you sure have a lot to gain. And, go to the shelter to get your little fur baby. We could not have asked for a better animal if we had a choice. I really think she knows we saved her life...after it’s all said and done, I think she saved ours.
