I brought my Aussie pup for a meet and greet to the Dogtopia at Nicholasville Rd. in Lexington and we had a great experience. The staff was friendly, informative and very welcoming. They showed me everything they offer, met my dog with a warm welcome and made us feel comfortable. I can't wait to take Cookie back!

There are so many things I love about Dogtopia. My favorite thing is the Nest camera system so I can check on my dog throughout the day. This makes the staff, facility, and experience feel transparent and trustworthy. The staff is amazing and always caters exactly to my expectations of daycare and boarding. Everyone at Dogtopia is so patient and understanding. They always make me and my dog feel like a priority.

We have been using Dogtopia for daycare services for a couple weeks and we are happy with the experience! The web cam is so convenient. You can see from the webcam that the coaches in those playroom work really hard and really care about our dogs, and also connect, comfort them when they have time. My pup Lex loves going to Dogtopia for playday with her friends. Overall, nice facility and friendly staff!

Today was our first visit at the meet and greet and it was not a good experience. The website made everything sound great and my initial phone call was awesome with a young woman named Macy. She was amazing and seemed genuinely helpful. But when I got there it was totally different. I was not told I'd have to leave my dog there for hours for the meet and greet and I didn't see the "suites" my dog was going to stay in or the free play areas as the website described I was to be shown. When I brought it up I was told "you could have asked for those things" but the website makes this seem like standard practice. We also mentioned several times before the meet and greet and as soon as we got there to them that our dog could not be crated due to anxiety and PTSD with crates before, and we found out they tried to put her in a crate twice and "to their surprise" she didn't do well. My instructions were completely disregarded and the wellbeing of my dog was not considered. The young man at the front counter was very rude on the phone and acted as if there was no fault and blamed everything on "new people" yet he was the one I spoke to at the time of check in. I also saw through their live feed a woman dragging a dog by it's collar, which is unacceptable. I will not be recommending Dogtopia to anyone knowing what I know now.

On August 9th between 4pm - 6:30pm, I dropped off my 5 month puppy for a meet and greet / 1st day of doggie daycare. Since it was his first time and he was only required to be there for 2 hours for his evaluation, I watched the webcam to see how he was adjusting. The female staff that was in his room spent the majority of her time on her phone, taking a selfie, playing with a remote which I assumed was for a TV, and didn’t interact with the dogs. While her back was turned away from the dogs, she didn’t notice nor correct one of the dogs that went after my puppy. My puppy even tried to get her attention and she ignored him. He tired to make friends, but he didn’t connect with any of the dog’s and spent most of his time sitting in the corner by myself. I paid for my dog to have a good time, prepare him for doggie daycare and to be watched, not for someone to play on their phone.

I would rather give NO stars! My dog is 14 and I have NEVER had one problem with grommers!! Unfortunately we just moved away from our groomer. They said my little schnauzer was unruly and tried to bite them… sent me a text saying we have to shave her beard because it was matted… it was not!!! I texted her back and said please do not shave her beard off!!! Not only did she have no beard but she had no eyebrows!! They told me I could bring her back and they could fix her??? What could they have possibly done further?? I called the manager when I got home and she replied she couldn’t do anything. I feel like they hurt her because she became so timid… please do not take your pet here!!!! I explained to the girl when I went that my dog was old blind and deaf and she needed a little extra care…. And on top of it the charged me $86…. I have never seen anything like this and we have owned several Schnauzers over the years

My four-month-old Yorkie just started daycare here. I love that he gets to go to the Toybox, a room with all smaller dogs. I can check in on him on the webcam. He comes home happy and pretty worn out. It’s great for his socialization!

Instead of returning my call in a timely manner, I had to call repeatedly to try to board my dogs for a family emergency. Then I'm told they need a meet and greet before allowing dogs to board. If they had returned my call yesterday, that could have been done. Now I miss a family member's funeral because they couldn't MEET my dogs before boarding them.

My girlfriend and I are both apart of the restaurant industry, today we both worked a double with no break. Our dog couldn’t be picked up in time before they closed today and they stayed and waited until we found someone to come pick her up. Can not stress enough how appreciative we both are to this place for going the extra mile when in no way shape or form they had too. Thank you again so much can’t say it enough.

Love you dog groomer. Cuts and dremels both of my dog's nails where you can't hear them on the floor for a week. Always look and smell wonderful after their grooming. They love to play and are well taken care of.Love the transparency of the web cams.

The groomer was very personable and spoke with us to go over what we wanted done. She told us what a joy our dog was and you could tell she took great pride in her work and enjoys her job!

Top notch in every way! I can’t say enough about how kind, caring and professional the staff are. My GSD loves being there and gets very excited when I drop her off, which tells me everything about her experience at Dogtopia.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. I have a 7 month old puppy that I took to daycare once. On the live camera it was apparent that the staff member in charge of watching the toy box (the area that my small dog was put in to play) only gave attention to some of the dogs while constantly pushing our little puppy off of her. Additionally, they don't give the dogs any toys to play with nor did my puppy eat while he was there. Which is frankly inhumane. Not to mention when I picked up my puppy you could tell that he did not have a good experience. Please do yourself a favor and take your dog somewhere else to get the love and treatment they deserve. I wish zero stars was an option.

Gave my little 21 pound dog 7 minutes evaluation before bringing him back out to me to say he wasn't acceptable to board. Poor guy was rescued from hoarding situation 4 years ago and I adopted him from humane society and he is very bonded to me. He was anxious being carried away by strangers. To be clear, he didn't bite any one- just showed his teeth. Found another place that seems to be more able to handle less than perfect dogs.

As the mom of a Great Dane (Titan) who’s is a truly a stage 5 clinger and big baby, I love to bring my sweet boy to dogtopia to play and socialize. Everyone at Dogtopia is SO very kind and helpful. No matter how many times I call to ask questions or to just ask how my pup is doing the staff is always responsive and and friendly. I appreciate how they are patient with him even though he is MUCH bigger than the other pups. If your thinking about sending your baby to any doggy daycare, you’ve found the right one! I promise you won’t be disappointed and your baby will feel loves and be EXHAUSTED by the time you come get them for pick up!! This is a great choice!! Also!! They have cameras that you can see you dogs playing on!! I love knowing. That my baby is safe and I can actually see him having fun! -Titans mom

Milo loves going to daycare. The first few times he went, he was a little nervous to get out of the car, but now when we pull up he wags his tail and can’t wait to play with the other dogs. The staff is kind and helpful, too! I would highly recommend Dogtopia’s daycare for your dog!

Best grooming experience ever! My dog is the sweetest girl and LOVES people, but she does not like having her nails trimmed and will sometimes turn (never actually bites but makes a noise and turns quickly). I was told by big box stores that she would need to be muzzled because of this so I’ve just been doing my own grooming at home. I tried out dogtopia and Belle absolutely loves Katie and will actually let her trim her nails! Will definitely be bringing her back in the future, such a positive experience for my fur baby.

We have been taking our dogs to Dogtopia for several years. Katie does an amazing job grooming our 18 year old dog as well as our puppy! She is professional and patient with both dogs. They always come back to us happy and looking amazing! We highly recommend Dogtopia and Katie for all grooming services!

Wish I could give 0 stars. The daycare is awesome but today I decided to get my dog groomed for the first time at Dogtopia Lexington South. I couldn't be more upset. When I got there I asked for him not to be shaved. Kaitlyn suggested that since his undercoat was matted that she shave him. I said no and she agreed. She called me when he was done and told me he did terrible and was trying to bite. Very unlike my dog, he has never had issues with being groomed. In fact, I have always received praises on how well behaved he is. She than told me it would cost extra because she had to brush out his matts. I picked him up and he has a giant bald spot and irritated skin like she ripped his hair out. I am so disgusting with this work I will be removing him from the daycare.

These folks are basically home away from home for my dogs. I work long days and I never feel bad about taking my dogs here. They always have a good time. The staff post pictures of the fun activities they do, and the live cameras are nice to have throughout the day, though I never feel like I need them. Staff are absolutely amazing and always friendly. I've never once had a bad experience in two years.

My dog absolutely loves going to Dogtopia! He has so much fun playing with other dogs his size and he loves the workers too. They are so friendly and I feel comfortable leaving him with them when I have to board him. The fact that I can check on him online through their gym cams is wonderful to me. Wouldn't take him anywhere else!
