My dog is 13 years old and throughout her lifetime we have seen many vets in Lexington. I recommend Chevy Chase Animal Clinic over all of them. Everyone that works here is kind and understanding. They put you at ease when things are ruff. ????❤

I have taken my animals to Chevy Chase Small Animal Clinic since at least 1972. I have complete confidence in them. They are always pleasant, compassionate, and obviously love my animals as much as I - if that’s possible. You can’t go wrong.

The best staff your animal could ask for, amazing care by great people

I've had mostly good experiences at Chevy Chase Animal Clinic. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the prices seem fair. They're always quick to get us in to be seen, and their location is convenient. My only issue, and it's really more a matter of taste, is with Dr. Headley. He often comes across as arrogant and paternalistic, like he knows it all, and he's given me advice before that I find questionable. I used to work in a vet clinic and I have a lot of experience working with animals, and I want a veterinarian who is a little more caring and careful with my pets.

I cannot say enough kind words about this vet clinic. My kitten was in such good hands with them for a big surgery. The staff went above and beyond to make him comfortable and ease my worry. They even went out of their way to text me updates while I was working. I have seen how fantastic they are with all animals, especially my feisty cat. I am so thankful this vet clinic is in my town. I highly recommend!

Best Animal Clinic in Lexington! Incredibly kind and responsive staff. Whether I have been there with my dog for her yearly check-up or for more serious health issues both she and I have been well cared for. Doctor's Headley, Blanchett, and Blackey are professional and personable.

They are fair with pricing,and Dr. Headley has a bunch of young and attractive professionals.they also like fox alot .

Chevy Chase Animal Clinic was beyond amazing taking care of our cat. They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and healed up properly after surgery. We were VERY impressed and highly recommend them!

They are truly the best! My Cat developed bladder stones and it became an emergency situation. I didn't have a vet yet, but I absolutely do now! They took my frantic phone and told me to bring him in due to the severity of his issue. They were professional, incredibly kind and my Cal is going to be okay because of their care. They have a patient for life! They truly care about the animals in their care and the empathy they displayed put me so much at ease. Definitely the best vet clinic I have ever brought my animal too.

One of the best veterinary practices in Lexington. The staff and Dr's are always great, and their prices are fair. They always take excellent care of my pets.

Dr. Eric Headley is hands down the most amazing Veterinarian my furbabies have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable and very accurate in diagnosing illnesses. He saved my pitties life, and when my 14yr old cat was diagnosed with cancer, he gave him the most compassionate care. I highly recommend him and his caring staff.

Have Two dogs one needed a cyst removed had it done and also had shots updated. Everyone their is very friendly personable and really seem to love what they are doing. Cost for their services was better than the other vet's I checked with so a win win situation for myself and my dogs.

Great place. I, as well as most other pet owners, am picky about who I let take care of my dog and cat. I understand that that for veterinarians this becomes a job (where it might have been a passion before) and it's difficult to keep caring for the animals as they would their own but they have always been very caring, patient and gentle with my pets. They've spayed my dog, taken care of UTIs, stomach issues, all annual shots, etc. Whenever I have an issue that needs reaction of a timely manner they get us in and taken care of very quickly. I can't recommend them enough.

It is a caring place; they care about your cat and are patient and kind to them. The front desk service is very friendly and gentle, and they will never treat your calls rudely (I am an international student who is not so fluent in English, but they are never impatient talk with me). The medical team is also severe and responsible and will discuss the cat’s condition with you in detail, refer to your opinions and discuss the cat’s condition. When my cat does not feel good at such an anxious moment, the doctor’s attitude makes me feel at ease. During my stay in the United States, my roommate and I adopted two cats. Their names are Levy (older sister) and Shiki (smaller brother); the clinic has greatly helped my fur babies to live a healthy and happy life. I am really grateful for the clinic's kindness and patient. If I come back to live in the United States, I will definitely become a customer of this clinic again. Thank them for taking care of Levy and Shiki and loving them!

Dr. Headley is simply the best vet I've I ever visited. A compassionate and extremely competent veterinarian whom I would trust as family. I can't say enough good words about Chevy Chase Animal Clinic other than I would pay whatever they charged for the care my pet received there. If your pet is priceless than don't think twice, just go there. They truly are an amazing group of people. Nothing but love, it must be so gratifying to be part of their facility. Dr. Headley is a true mensch!

Really nice staff. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, even when they're obviously busy. Each pet and owner gets all the necessary attention.

I recently adopted my very first kitten and she was having some stomach troubles the night I brought her home. I called Chevy Chase to schedule an appointment, but unfortunately they were booked. The staff was incredibly kind to see my kitten in between other appointments. They gave her a very thorough check-up and everything turned out to be normal. The staff was accommodating to my concerns and gave me advice for the future. My kitten and I will be returning!
