After Christmas I took a stray Yorkie to this clinic, they were very gentle with her. The staff was very friendly and so was Dr. Clarke! We will definitely be returning in the future.

The team at this clinic are outstanding, they are very professional and caring plus very understanding of the animals needs. My boy is a couple of handfuls when doing his nails but they handled him very well and I'm very thankful to all of them for the nice visit. Highly recommended them as I too was recommended to them by a friend.

I have taken my pets to Dr Clark for many years and I am very pleased. He is a thorough conscientious and a very humane doctor. The staff is kind and the prices are reasonable. I have brought my pets in for appointments as well as left them there and I have always felt that my pets were in good hands

My cat had a swollen paw pad, they got him in next day when the other vet clinic said I'd have to wait a month for the first visit with them. The prices were good, I was offered an itemized receipt, and the cats in the waiting room were friendly and didnt react at all when my cat growled at them from inside the kennel. The office was clean. The staff were patient and gentle with my cat, and listened to all my concerns about his paw and general health. The paw is already looking better, and I didn't have to break the bank to take him there!

I was referred here by a family member and agree with them that the vet is excellent. This clinic is focused on necessary treatment and proper care of your animal while not trying to extort you for maintaining their health. I would and already have recommended this clinic to friends.

This will be my last visit with Animal Clinic on leestown rd. Dr Clark has always been fine, but his staff on the other hand is a different story. I have had issues on my last 3 visits, so I'm calling this one and taking my business elsewhere. My visit before this I was asked which dog I was bringing in. considering you've cremated my other two, how about the one that is alive ? When I told the lady on the phone they had cremated the other two she said oh sorry and laughed. laughed ! It's in your own computer that You put two of my babies down . I had an appointment this morning to get my dogs nails trimmed and was told to wait outside in the cold. Keep in mind a sign was on the door saying that one person was allowed in with their appointment. I had a mask on. Was told no I had to wait outside in the cold. If they had bothered to look in their waiting room there was no way I could have been within 6ft of anyone. If the had bothered to ask, I had both my vaccinations because I'm in the medical field. If they had bothered to read their own sign it says I was allowed in because I had a scheduled appointment. This is the 3rd strike in a row and if employees continue to treat customers like this I see a lot of people going elsewhere. The staff the last three visits have been uncaring, short, and truthfully rude. Dr Clark I wish you well, but treatment like this does not look good for your business.

I've taken my heeler chihuahua mix to get her shots, and they were really great with her. Had my shiatzu chihuahua mix taken there for her nails to be clipped. And they were the best in saving my cat's life when he had mineral deposits clogging his urethra. They were willing to work with us, despite us not having the money at the time, to save my cat. Thank you.

Rude staff! I had to take my dog to the ER this morning and he has an abscess and needs some dental work done. Called to see if they would be able to set me up a payment plan since I just had a $5500 back surgery on my other dog three weeks ago. The guy on the phone kinda laughed and then said no we only do that for our favorite clients. That’s bad practice to mention that you do that for some and not others. That you chose what clients you favor and give better treatment to. If it is the case, I would’ve settled for a simple no and you could’ve kept that to yourself but the fact that you did mention you pick and choose clients, I will not be going here ever!!!

Nice first experience with Dr. Clark, who comes highly recommended from family members who have taken their well-cared for pets to him for some time. I was able to get my cat in the same day for an upper respiratory infection. Dr. Clark checked her thoroughly and gently, did not encourage expensive treatment, and took the time to explain her condition clearly. This is a busy clinic during a pandemic, and all the staff were working hard to see all patients while sanitizing surfaces and screening owners at the door, yet were courteous and gentle with both owner and patient. Very much appreciated.

We've had good care in past years, but I don't know what's going on there now... For a routine exam, they forgot to administer a vaccine, didn't check problem areas we asked about, charged a good amount more than last year, lost or forgot the heartworm test, AND our dog picked up a couple adult FLEAS from this visit. (only been at home and this vet in recent weeks)

Definitely one of the best vets around! I have been using Dr. Clark for years and couldn't be happier. He takes his time during appointments and is very thorough. He cares and it shows. When we moved, we tried another vet but later decided to drive the extra 45 min. to see Dr. Clark.

Dr. Clark and his staff took excellent care of my cat! I was referred to him by a friend and I wanted my cats teeth to be cleaned. Now his teeth are so clean, fresh breath, and no tartar build up! I'm so happy and will continue to use his service. Thanks Dr. Clark!

I called about an issue with my 18 year old cat. The receptionist/vet tech was very helpful, friendly and sympathetic. The issue resulted in having to put our cat to sleep, which I have never done before. The Dr. and vet tech were kind and gentle. I really appreciate how they helped me handle the situation. I highly recommend them.

We are on our second cat being taken care of by Dr. Clark. We followed him from another clinic because we like him a lot. He and his staff are very friendly and PATIENT when dealing with a howling feline who does not like shots and exams! The vet was nice. But the place is very dirty and the vet tech could not handle my dog properly. Not a great experience and will not be going back.

I love the staff and Dr. Clark is a very compassionate man. He doesn’t try to push you into purchasing unnecessary testing and treatment if he truly feels it’s not needed.

Nice folk. Very good with my 3 dogs. Love the way the vet lets my pets sniff his instruments before using them. After the first time he did this, it seemed an obvious thing to do, but I've never seen another vet do this.

The time, and care, Dr. Clark, and his team, gave to our beloved dog, and us, when the hard decisions had to be made, was amazing. The entire staff REALLY cares about their patients, and their owners.

We decided, based on moving to Lexington to give Dr. Clark a shot at taking care of our coveted fur babies. Not only did he welcome our fur babies as new members, welcomed us as well. His staff is excellent, knowledgeable and informative. He was there on the phone with us when we had questions about Shrek's cancer and when we ultimately made a decision to end the suffering, he and his staff was so compassionate. I've been taking all 3 of my cats here for the past couple of years and always receive excellent care! Dr. Clark & Lauren are both so accommodating and truly want what's best for you and your pets! We have been using Dr. Clark for 20 years or more. He is very knowledgeable and takes a lot of time with each visit. When we had to have our dog, of 16 years, put to sleep he let my daughter hold her and was very kind and supportive. Even though that was 16 years ago she still remembers his kindness and how gentle he was. We really appreciate him.

Dr. Clark and his staff are so wonderful! They are friendly, welcome questions and always answer you honestly and completely, in terms that you understand. They are very compassionate and empathetic. When I had to make the tough decision to euthanize KoKo Puff II, my male Pomeranian; they were so understanding and patient with me. Afterwards, they sent me sympathy card, which I truly appreciate, because a lot of people don't understand how you can love a pet so much. Dr. Clark and his staff are the BEST!!!

I have been using Dr. Clark for the last 6 years (I believe) and he always goes above and beyond and the staff is always friendly. He is always kind and willing to listen to even the littlest issue.He takes his time examining our dogs and always takes time to explain options for treatments and NEVER pressures you into doing treatments you may not be comfortable with. I truly believe he does what he does out of his love of the animals.
