Value Vet Hermitage, Kentucky

I have been calling this place 4 days. Had appointment n couldn't call to confirm. They need close their doors if they not going to take care of the pets n customers!!

This office has been closed for months with no plans to reopen.

I called on thursday to schedule a appointment. The lady told me the only location that they are able to have a Vet at is the Hermitage location. I agreed because my cat is really sick. She said they do walk ins from 9-5. I took work off and got there at 2 on friday and it was closed. Website says its open. Called the same number and was told the same thing except in Nolensville location and not until Monday. Seems like they are working multiple stores with a single Vet. Now I am scrambling to find someone to take my very sick cat in last minute. Do not trust this place with your animal. They fail before they even see it.

The nurse lady or whoever first greets you and takes you back was very polite and helpful, but the actual vet was not the nicest in my opinion. Maybe she was just having a rough day who knows.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our baby was missing for 20 days. Animal control picked her up in Manchester and did x-rays and said she had multiple fractured on her pelvis. They said she needed to lay still and take her meds. It will heal on its own. We took her to Value Vet for a second opinion and they did a "nerve test", suggested she had no feeling in her leg, and suggested we put her down. They didn't even have the x-rays and suspected spinal cord damage. I said we're not doing that and we left. One week later, (this past weekend) we took her back to Manchester, and they say she's gonna be fine. They did a nerve test and Bella cried. Obviously, she has feeling. She's a daughter to us. To say lay her down without x-rays is crazy. She means more to us than a simple decision.

Pretty reasonable prices, don't try to gouge. Quick turn around. Dog happy

This place is great, they truly care about you and your animal and the prices are fair. They also are empathetic towards financial situations and go above and beyond to help the animal without hurting the owners financial situations. Thank you for great care for Evil, Stoney and Simba

I initially contacted their email service on the 3rd, after 15 days I only got one response asking for my phone number on day 5 and no contact since.

The vet tech was very caring and informative. It was my kitty's first time at the vet and they handled her with care. I highly recommend Value Vet.

I believe all locations myst be permanently closed. Can't reach any number. Have requested the last conversation for my pets records to be transfered and this never happened...good thing i saved all their print outs as to which shots and meds they received.

They specifically told me they would be taking walk in appointments on Wed June 3 at the Hermitage location & I specifically took off to get my pup his rabies shot, get all the way to the location! And nobody in sight, whole office closed, not to mention only 1 sign that gives you a # to call, that nobody answers.

Best vet staff! They'll be straight with your pet on a good road.

Their hours of operation for the Hermitage location are NEVER what they are supposed to be. Open until 6? Lie. They are only open until 6 if a Vet is actually THERE. I left work an hour early on Tuesday, to be at the Hermitage location by 3:45pm. They were closed. Was told to try back today. It's 3:30 and they are ALREADY closed. Yet, their answering service says they are open until 6pm. Why?? My dogs flea and tick medication is late EVERY MONTH because of my VET OFFICE?? NOT what expect from my Vet. If you are going to close by 3 every day then make 8am-3pm your hours of operation. Quit false advertising.

Had a walk in clinic day as this location's vet quit unexpectedly. Got there very close to the end but they were able to get to my pup quickly. He was getting his second round of shots.

Its always been a friendly place to take you fur baby staff is excellent and super nice.

Not very informative of the procedure they did on my cat. Didn't give me all of the information they said they would in the beginning. Won't be returning with my baby.

The Dr. was very helpful and very nice. She explained everything and broke down cost. Our Doggo (Debo) loved her. Will be going back forsure. Very affordable. Don’t know the Dr.s name but will update on our next visit. Our doggo got meds for a uti and will be getting a tumor removal as well.

The location I scheduled an appointment with closed because of damage due to the tornado...but they scheduled me long after the tornado. And they couldn't even call to tell me because whoever took my info is incompetent and got my phone number wrong. Not by one or two digits either. The entire number they had for me wasnt even close to my actual phone number. I will not reschedule and I'll never come back to value vet.

Sorry to say that I won't be returning after using this company for several years. Arrived promptly at 7 am opening for a serious visit and there wasn't a soul to be found in the building although it even said open at 7 on the door. Tried calling, no answer. No signs saying "closed until...... due to covid" anywhere nor even on the website. At least try advertising so people don't drive a far distance to be late for work and have to scramble to find a last minute vet. I had to call the 800 number just to find out that they are not doing walk ins and do not have appointments until 9 am despite the 7 am indication everywhere else.

Waited 3 hours so my dog could get a shot and they let other pets go before my dog even though I was there before the others. After waiting patiently they told me my dog could not get the shot because it takes 30 minutes and they were closing soon. Basically wasted 3 hours of my life. Would not recommend.

They are super fast, friendly, with great customer & pet service. I love this place.

They were quick to offer an appointment and the staff was competent. They take care of business and that's what I want when I have an animal in need. Plus, one of the staff members talked to my cat. I really appreciate that because soothing tones help animals, even if they might not understand, they can tell the difference between when someone's holding them for care or to to kill. Not always easily distinguishable for more easily spooked pets.

Not my favorite for the pets. The name certainly does not hold true,.(cost is the same as any other vet in area. )

Very clean and efficient. Been going there 15 years. Great with my dig.
