Today was the worst experience I have had since I moved to Hendersonville. I showed up for my appointment 20 minutes early. I called in like they ask you too. Being a new customer/client I would think I would have a pleasure phone conversation but no. The conversation was unfriendly and rushed by Whitney. She was very unpleasant to speak with and I did not feel welcomed. I waited until 2:50pm and no-one came out or call to assist us. The appointment was at 2:30 pm. I am very disappointed how we were treated on the phone and being a new customer not given an understanding how things work and making us wait and not even having communication with us. We just left. We took our business else where today and got amazing services. I would like to say maybe you need to have someone else take phone calls because Whitney's customer service is shameful and needs some seriously coaching. I will not recommend and will let anyone I come in contact with how my experience was on 10/7/2021.

A while ago my little mini Dachshund had to have emergency surgery to remove bladder stones and they did an amazing job communicating with me and letting me know the cost of care as well as the recovery for my sweet pup. The vets there only do surgery on certain days of the week, but given the emergency of the situation they were able to do the procedure later in the day. The vets and the vet techs did an amazing job working me in the schedule that day and getting my little buddy in for surgery. Very thankful for the amazing care!

The lack of communication from staff to customer is terrible. They fail to mention when they are charging you, they just assume you have an infinite budget. Be sure you ask, and ask often “am I being charged for this” otherwise Youll be charged for every tiny thing imaginable. On a good note the doctors are knowledgeable and professional but their sneaky charges bothered me

They might have great care for the animals but to get your animal back if you don't have the full amount of the bill they do not work with you at all. They don't let you make payments.. unless you got a credit card

When I first called Volunteer vet to ask about cat declaw they were very friendly and got me an appointment so my cats could be assessed prior to a surgery. Everyone was friendly including the people who come to your car to pick the animals up. It wasn’t until my cats were evaluated that really rubbed me the wrong way. The veterinarian called my phone (we can’t go with the pets bc COVID) and was uncomfortably unprofessional in how she communicated with me. She started asking me why I wanted this done which is understandable and expected, but then continued to tell me it’s not a surgery she likes to do but will do it if she absolutely has to. The way in which she spoke was unprofessional and frankly degrading. Also, she told me that I should try another vet first before scheduling the surgery with her. I’m sorry but your website says you do these surgeries, AND I called prior to this appointment to make sure. Now after spending $130 for them to be assessed (literally just looked at) I’m told that you won’t do it unless you absolutely have to?! If you don’t want to do the surgery then don’t tell people you will, then make them spend $130 only to degrade them and tell them to try another place before scheduling the surgery. I live in a rental home, my cats are indoors and my curtains, carpets and couches are SHREDDED and yes we’ve tried other options before this. Im a nurse so I understand weighing the risks and benefits, but I also know how a professional conversation should go and this wasn’t it. Not to mention I spent 1hr and 20min in the parking lot. Got there at 10am and they took my cats back at around 10:40-10:50 left around 11:20. I had high hopes for this place considering everyone else was so friendly leading up to the appointment and they had decent reviews. But needless to say I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my cats with the veterinarian and decided to take them elsewhere.

Hands down the best vet people of Hendersonville and middle Tennessee. I had such an issue trying to get my bunny to be seen, I figured she had a broken leg. They can't perform surgery, which is okay; because they gave her medicine, watched over her while I was at work, got her to eat and drink more, kept her comfy, and did x-rays. My baby has a fractured left pelvis, and is in pain. They took her in and were super kind on the phone. I was crying from stress at bad experiences on the phone with almost every vet and exotic vet in middle Tennessee. Hands down, I choose them. They're great. They explained the price of everything to me before they did anything to approve it with them. They answered the millions of questions I had and were so calm and sweet on the phone and in person. They gave me her x-rays, charts, explanations of her fracture and foods, and were just overall a light in the dark in our time of need. My baby Bean Bean is feeling a lot better now. She's on bed rest and on med meds. Thank you !

Sitting in your car at the vets office is so aggravating. I have been sitting here for 2 hours. This is a dreadful experience. Just venting ????

We recently made a very difficult decision for our very sick and elderly pup. With all of the restrictions around COVID-19, the staff here were absolutely phenomenal. We cannot thank you guys enough for giving our sweet girl all the love in her last moments. You made one of our hardest and saddest moments one that we’ll always remember being filled with love and compassion. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

I don’t want to dislike this place, because some of the staff are awesome, but their overall reliability and communication is awful. I once got a prescription for my dog, was told it was ready, and then drove all the way there and found out it still needed a signature from the vet, who wasn’t available to sign it for another 4 hours. The last straw was the fact that I just spent over 15 minutes on hold trying to simply get a prescription refill, but I give up. Nothing takes 15 minutes!!! Taking my business elsewhere.

The day before I left the country for travel I noticed my youngest turtle was sick to the point of not being able to see clearly. I was in panic mode calling all veterinarians I could find in the Nashville area. No one would see me last minute or not being a previous client. Dr. Dixon was last on my list and to my surprise the receptionist said bring him on in now. I did. I left him there also and came back before they closed. This was on a Friday night around 7PM. Dr. Dixon stayed with me for about 45 minutes, thoroughly explaining what could be making Freddie sick. Long story short, He printed off 10 pages worth of material regarding how to better take care of my reptile. He also gave him shot. I have never met a veterinarian that took time out of his schedule and that cared as much as Dr. Brandon Dixon. And the bill for him treating my turtle and keeping him housed all day was extremely reasonable! I cannot thank he and his staff enough for everything they did in my time of need. And it’s for this reason, I will never use another veterinarian while living in Nashville! He and his staff have huge hearts and are passionate about The animals they treat.

They are some of the friendliest staff and doctors that go out if the way to take care of your pet's needs. Even doing the Corona virus they have set up ways to still service our pets.

So this used to be our go to. As of recently I feel very taken advantage of. We brought our dog in for a problem with her eye. First visit, treat her and give us medicine. $260.00. Vet's aren't cheap, I get that. Second visit for a follow up. Different veterinarian that day. Told us nothing, just tried to upsell us. $80.00. For absolutely nothing. Told us to bring her back when the original veterinarian is in. Going back today. Guaranteed another $80.00 and they try and upsell us. I don't know when they turned into a used car lot but we are done with this place after today. Only reason I would even take her there is because my Wife is scared because our last follow up provided us with zero information.

I just moved here and needed a new vet for my 2 dogs. The male vet tech (can’t remember his name to save my life) was very helpful. I appreciate the time he took at the very end of his day to explain the dental estimate to me. I have found that the vet care here is extremely expensive. Almost Twice as much as i paid in Atlanta, but I’m finding that Hendersonville is just expensive in general. Overall, I recommend them.
