They were kind and understanding as I lost my beloved cat to cancer.

They have not been my primary vet but I found some strays who were in very poor health & they have been the most helpful staff when it comes to fantastic care for a fantastic price! They so clearly love & care for every animal that comes in the door & show no signs of greed or cruel nature at all! I have always felt safe leaving my pets in their car & I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a vet!

Indian Lake is THE BEST. We used to go to Graham, but they were just too expensive and the last straw was when they turned away one of my pets even though she had been there before. Indian Lake has treated us like family since our very first visit and we don’t get killed in fees. I just love Indian Lake, I wish I had found them sooner. If you’re looking for an amazing vet that treats your fur baby like she’s the only fur baby on their schedule for the day and won’t charge you Cadillac prices, this is the place.

They found a tear on my dog that two other vets did not find. Very kind and knowledgeable staff.

Not my usual vet, and they did not have any openings, still they were happy to fit me in to take care of my dog. Spoke to a couple different people there, including the doctor, and they were all extremely nice and helpful. Took care of my dog in a timely manner, and did not do anything unnecessary. Talked me thru a clear plan of treatment and what options may be if my dog's pain continued. Would definitely make this my primary vet!

The best vet in Hendersonville to take any animal too they are very caring and very efficient… Also you don't have to always bring your animal in for a refill on anything!!

This vet is beyond amazing. They are so busy but they made time to see my very sick cat Becker. They saved his life and I can't thank them enough. From the techs to the Dr. I just can't say enough good things about.

Love Dr. Gentry !! She is great with both of our dogs. Very attentive and takes extra time out to call if need be. We have a diabetic dog and she has been great on walking us through his care and follow up appointments.

They graciously saw my 18 year old dog when she was having a seizure even though we are not regular clients. They were so kind and reassuring!

My girlfriend's elderly dog got sick recently and I called Indian Lake Vet. Julie answered the phone and was extremely friendly, listened to my problem, and set us up with an appointment that day. I had first called the vet which I used to use (and spent thousands of dollars with), New Shackle Island Vet Hospital, and the girl was quite a (female dog)- including slamming the phone down after implying that I had annoyed her with my completely crazy desire to get the dog, which was in severe discomfort, a same day appointment. Additional points for getting us in and out in a reasonable time frame - the tech came out almost immediately when I called to check in after arrival.

My puppy was shivering, pooped himself, and collapsed and they let me bring him in right away at lunchtime. They were out to the car quickly to bring him in and let me know the results of their examination quickly. They ran blood work and urine tests and let me know the results and recommended treatment in a very timely manner. Dr. Gentry was very nice and answered any questions I had. I felt very comfortable leaving him there for tests and to be observed. Everyone was very nice and professional. Their prices are comparable with other vets here in Hendersonville and reasonable. I will definitely be bringing my dogs here again.

I was shocked to read the negative review about this Hospital , unfortunate for the young woman who answered the phone that day A female Dr.I have only had 5 star dealings with. She actually directed the patron on how to effectively treat the injured dog. Thank goodness for her quick and responsive insight that was best for the animal. Now for me , I have had amazing caring and precessional experiences with all who work in this Veterinarian Hospital. Today I have brought my newest 8 week old puppy here for his wellness check. Thank you all for making it a wonderful experience for our new puppy.

Called after my pet was injured on her side to see if she could be seen over the weekend. The lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude and quick to judge; asking why my pet doesn’t have a regular vet, when she does but they were full, but what does that matter? I called to see if you could help my pet but instead the worker scolded me bc it was a holiday weekend and that I had to bring her immediately or they couldn’t help me. In my opinion, her attitude was uncalled for and was very unprofessional. Definitely would not recommend to anyone based on the phone customer service or should I say lack there off.

Very empathetic and kind. I had to bring my parents cat in for a serious injury. I had never been here before but it was an emergency and they said they never refuse an injured pet. Dr Gentry was phenomenal and made me feel so at ease and explained everything.

Last minute n they took my dog in! The staff was very friendly n kind. Service was quick n they answered every question I had with patience n kindness! They even cut my dogs nails too. Found my dogs forever vet!

We love this vet! We were nervous about trying a new vet as we have had some bad experiences. However, these guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and affordable. Instead of rushing through the appointment, pushing unnecessary tests, and insisting on expensive treatments without fully understanding the problem, ILAC listens to the facts, gives a quality exam, and recommends the best treatment for the animal at a fair price. My pups enjoy going here.

I wanted to give a quick shoutout to Indian Lake Veterinarians office. My dog is about 14 years old & had a pretty massive cyst on her back leg. We took her to another veterinarian office last year & they said she wouldn’t make it through the surgery, they thought she may only live a few more months. We took her back 3 months ago & the vet said he absolutely would not take this massive growth off which now literally drug the ground. He suggested we leave it & think about putting her down. Dr Gentry at Indian Lake saw Tipper & said absolutely let’s get that thing off of her. Tipper had surgery today, came through beautifully & is resting at home. Dr. Gentry truly loves animals & our family is so grateful that she took the time to really treat Tipper & not just write her off like the other vet. Our pets are like our children, our family. If you love them, I highly recommend taking your pets to Dr.Gentry at Indian Lake Veterinarian.
