Beyond wonderful! Everyone was so compassionate and kind. We needed an urgent same day appointment for our kitten and they squeezed us in the morning. I appreciated the care they provided.

Amazing staff! Have taken our pets to Root Animal Clinic for almost 20 years. We live about 30 mins away and have several closer options but it is well worth the drive.

from the front desk to the exam room and back, I received excellent, professional, and compassionate care for my cat who presented with a fractured humerus. He will be having surgery there tomorrow morning and I have all the confidence in the world that he will have a complete recovery.

Just had an amazing experience with Root animal clinic. Had a minor emergency with my dog and they worked me in as walk- in and helped ease my nerves about the situation. Dr. Ayers and Paige took great care of my pooch.

Was referred to this clinic by my Veterinarian to discuss some particular issues with our 16 year old. The Vet and staff were amazing. Gave us a diagnosis and meds the same visit. We have no reservations at all recommending Root Animal Clinic to you.

My dog has had two major leg surgeries at this clinic and the surgeon did a wonderful job. The staff is kind and responsive. My dog loves going to this clinic despite all of the medical procedures that she receives there. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone, they are lovely to deal with.

I moved to Goodlettsville last year and wanted a vet a little closer to home. I heard good things about Root from a few people I know and decided to give them a try. I’ve had nothing but a positive experience here. Even without being able to go in from Covid, they always handle my fur son (Thor) very well. Always super friendly and helpful on the phone and I feel very confident about bringing my pet here!

Amazing !! Everyone was so nice and the doctor really cared about the problems going on with my cat. The cost was 1/4 of what a certain vet in white house has been that has not helped at all and showed no real concern. All my pets now have a new vet.

Love the Dr's & staff at Root Animal Clinic!

I took my cat to root Animal Clinic. They told me he had infection on his ear due to a puncture. In fact it wasn't infection it was cancer. Due to misdiagnosis I had to have my cat euthanized after being properly diagnosed at another clinic. After Dr. Root left, this business has failed me, and other friends and family. I will never go back there....

They are always great. Found out today their having to pu lots of other's because on strict schedules to not accept new patients animals. To also Emergency clinic closed down. Picking up their load too. So That tells you a Lot more than I can ever say. Unfortunately my babies are getting sick way more than they Ever should. Thanks to Home & Homeowners Ins the Worst. Killing me & my innocent fur babies. Becoming monthly lately to got to get my cats in as well. They are all great and always Friendly. Also unfortunately they've also lost a few employees been there a while. But they are Taking on a lot and I have the patience because I know my babies are in good hands. Thank You to All at Root Animal Clinic for all your hard dedicated onging work thru all this mess!! You deserve an Award for all you've done & been thru as we're all being to have been affected by. Caring people we definitely need more of.

I have been going to them off and on for many many years. While Dr Root was my favorite because I had known him when he was with Dr Upton. I have come to love Dr Mason an Dr Ayers. They are the most compassionate vets. I trust them fully. The staff are also amazing. I would not trust anyone one else with my pets care.
