The girl at the front desk (Lisa) acts very unconcerned, indifferent and couldnt care less about your pet.And she is very rude.

Let me first start by saying I never write bad reviews or want to give a bad name to someone’s business. But I am very frustrated with recent experiences and visits to our vet. We have been loyal clients of countryside for 5 years with our two goldens. The last three or four visits have been just horrible experiences. We went in for our yearly check up and I am 7 months pregnant. They made me wait outside for an hour (my appointment was at 3 and it was nearly 4 before I came in) in July Tennessee heat even though I’m vaccinated and businesses have all let up on their covid restrictions. I’m standing there sweating to death with two golden retrievers who also were dying for some water and air conditioning. It was absolutely ridiculous! Then I voice concerns to their vet that one of them is limping and having pains in her back leg. He said she is fine and gave a recommendation on a joint vitamin. We saw she continued to to limp until one day she wasn’t putting any pressure on it at all. I took her back and again waited an hour but this time inside (so generous of them...) and she had torn all the ligaments in her back leg! How did they drop the ball so badly on this problem after I had said she was in pain! Now she needs a very expensive surgery that I feel could have been avoided if given the attention and time at this first appointment. There also seems to be no consistency in philosophy between the vets because the first one said her weight was perfectly fine and the second we saw was very concerned about how overweight she was. What in the world?! Save yourself an expensive surgery like me and take your loved one somewhere else where they actually take care of their clients.

The curbside service has made me choose to go elsewhere. Even at the beginning of the pandemic we were allowed in with a mask. Now I sit in the car and wait for my pet to be returned then about 3 people come talk or take payment or ask questions. Not my personal preference with taking my furbaby to get checked out!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They took the time to explain everything indepth and made sure we understand. Extremely pleased with their service.

I called in to this clinic for a emergency with my dog re: a toe nail infection that formed over the weekend. The person I spoke to on the phone (Lisa) was rather rude, lacked empathy and told me they could not see my dog until the end of next week. REALLY?! Good way to lose a potential new client. I would think a vet would make the necessary schedule arrangements to see time-sensitive patients. Terrible.

Good quality services, professional and knowledgeable vet and prices are reasonable. Also staff show more empathy to animals that suffer . My very old dog is "young again " with the new medicine Countryside prescribed and they care .

They are great! I was in and out fast. They are curbside only. My Axil was taken in, brought back fairly quickly, Dr came out, she is so sweet. She explained everything, let me ask questions. Love them! I will be taking all 3 my dogs to them.

I have a great pyranese puppy who is about 75 lbs. They have helped me take good care of her. They have been the only place that seems to be able to trim her nails.The staff from the front desk to tthe techs and the doctor are great.I highly recommend them.he

In and out quickly, very caring and professional...

Dr. Julie and everybody are such amazing people who took care of my dog Max and treated him as one of their own when they saw him they had a big smile for him. When Max who was battling diabetes we never thought he would live more than three months he survived for 2.5 years. Times he had to stay overnight Dr. Julie would take time out of her very busy Family life and would go stay with him for hours to make sure he was getting better. The best veterinary in middle Tennessee a very Honest and caring will always try to fit you in before closing.

This is the place to take your pet. Both of the veterinarians at this practice are knowledgeable and passionate about animals. Have been going to countryside for over 30 years and so glad that it was taken over by such wonderful caring people!

I’ve gone to Countryside with my multiple animals and foster animals for years. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars at this vet and never questioned it because I believed the staff there truly cared about it’s patients. Unfortunately, I learned recently that was not the truth. After years of being a faithful client I called Countyside one day with an emergency of my dog having an allergic reaction and being unable to breath. They told me the best they could do was a visit four hours from the current time I was calling. I made the appointment but quickly called back in a panic saying my dog was now chocking and this was becoming more and more severe. The advice they gave me was find another vet to take her to because there was nothing they would do for her until her scheduled time. After years of being a faithful client this is how I was treated. It is obvious they do not actually care for the pets they see. Save your time and money and go else where.

You could travel this whole State over and Never Find a Vetenary Clinic that is found with Doctors, Nurses and volunteers that care about your family pets any more, than those that work here at "Countryside Vetenary Hospital "!!! They are not only good at what they do, but will treat your Pet with the Kind of Love that is exceptional!!!

Countryside does not offer same day or next day appointments when your pet is very sick. My dog was a patient there and they would not see him when he was nearly blind from eye inflammation from where he was very sick.

Best veterinarian clinic we have ever been to. All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Doctors explain everything and are very patient. Absolutely love this place.

This is the best Veterinary hospital that I have been in the Nashville area. I drive past no less than 4 other options on my way to countryside. They honestly care for your pets health and well being and take the time to explain everything in detail. And similar to a great mechanic, they do not try to find unnecessary tests to perform for more profit. I have never felt like a number or taken advantage of at any visit over the past 10 years of bringing my animals here.
