Oakcrest Pet Hospital Wichita, Kansas

Dr Bruner and the staff at Oakcrest saw us in an emergency situation and took great care of our pup. I would recommend Oakcrest to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, & friendly vet!

Been looking for a new vet since my other closed. This place feels right. The Dr. had great bedside manner! He showed me the exrays and explained them. Answered all my questions above and beyond. All the staff was great actually. Feels like they enjoy working here. I feel good supporting this business.

I don't think there's any way our experience could have been improved! We had a great visit and look forward to this being our new regular vet! Dr. Hemmen and her nurse were friendly and very informative, they were great with our dog, and they got us in for an urgent care appointment on Christmas Eve even though we were a new patient. The facility was roomy and clean, the exam room was well-appointed, and the exam was thorough. The vet took her time to explain everything to us. 100/10!

I was impressed with the fact they were open on Saturday. My kitty had an abcess on his neck. It was painfull to him. We would have had to wait till Monday. But oakcrest was open on Saturday and they were able to get him in. He came home that same day feeling good and no pain. I am impressed.

They take very good care of my 'boys' and the staff is super nice. I would recommend if you're looking for good medical care for your pets.

Be that I'm from out of town and need to catch up on my pet's vaccinations, I was recommended to try this animal hospital and from beginning to end I was treated to great, professional service and follow-ups. I enjoyed my visit here!

The staff and Dr. are always great with our dog. We appreciate that they call to check on her after her visits the next day to make sure she is doing well.

We love Oakcrest! Our two dogs love everyone there and they do a great job of taking care of them- no matter which vet we see. Whenever I have a concern, they can usually get me in that same day! They’re even able to help me over the phone when we are traveling with the pups. Prices are very reasonable for exceptional care, too. The best vet in Wichita!

Our regular vet was full for boarding and referred us here. They took all 3 dogs, were super nice when checking in and sent us pictures of our pups while we were on vacation. A week after our visit we got a signed letter thanking us for bringing our dogs to them. Will be using them in the future. ❤️

Dr O is so nice! They made my Holland Lop (Gizmo) not feel to scared. They complimented how much of a social butterfly he is and that he is perfect!

Can't say enough good things about the Doctors and staff. They are knowledgeable, caring and always helpful. Our pets love going there!

Most important to me is the care they give to our animals. They really care and are kind and thoughtful when explaining and answering questions of we parents of fur babies.

I had come home and discovered my 12 year old golden could not stand or walk on his own. I had used Oak Crest years ago for another dog and my Macaws. They were close to where I lived and they always did a good job, I have since moved to a different part of town I knew my vet was on vacation and the office was closed. I made 26 phone calls to various clinics, and was told sorry no appointments and not one of them offered to work him in. Oak crest was my 27th phone call, and they said they could work him in at 3 in the afternoon. The staff and doctor were excellent. I will probably continue to make the trip across town due to their kindness and compassion.

Oakcrest Pet Hospital has been our veterinarian since November 2014. They are very professional, care about and love animals. They are very good at scheduling appointments when you need them, and at times will go out of there way to get you in. Having to work from 8-5 makes this convenient, as well as there hours are extended past 5:00 pm and have hours on Saturday. We have boarded Harley here before and he just loves it. When we bring him in for a check up, he thinks he is going to have doggie time with other dogs, so he gets very excited. Last month we boarded Harley for one night and asked for a nail trim. We have Pet Perks, which you accumulate points, which can be used for different services. We accumulated enough for the boarding and nail trim to be free. We mentioned it upon arrival, but the person picking up Harley received a bill. The next day I called up and mentioned the Pet Perks, and it was taken care of, so in the end, everything worked out and we are very satisfied.

Our almost 6 month Golden Doodle got very sick and my normal vet could not accomodate her until later in the afternoon. I then turned to look for help and this place was open arms and very helpful. They made sure we were put in right away and was very thorough with the treatment she needed. I will recommend to anyone to see this vet if needed for emergencys anytime!!

You guys are amazing and took fantastic care of our dog. You were quick to get him in as a patient, considering you hadn't seen him prior, and gave treating his tumor priority. Additionally, you took measures to provide reassurance that the outcome would be positive and we were grateful that it was! He is healing from surgery well, and are grateful for all you've done and are comforted in our decision to make you our new Vet.

Great people, known them a few years shy of all my life can't express how grateful I am to put my little guy in their caring hands he may not like y'all lol but I certainly do thank you so much wish there were more than 5 stars

Great care but very expensive.

We have a guinea pig that is dealing with eye issues! And our experience was awesome! They treated jersey with love and knew how important she was to my daughter and I. We definitely will be using them for all our guinea pigs needs. Definitely worth the trip to see an exotic pet vet!

We have gone to Oakcrest for both our dog's entire lives. They have always been exceptional! Whether during healthy times or sickness, our dogs have had the best possible, trustworthy care. We have gone to both Dr. Hemmen and Dr. Bruner, and they pay special attention to the dogs, creating a real bond with them. Our dogs actually like their vet visits and are excited about going!

The care our dog received at Oakcrest Pet Hospital was off the charts. We went in with an unusual situation and the doctor was very informative. He took the time and explained everything in detail. The rest of the staff were awesome too. It's a very welcoming invironment.
