I had to take my lab golden mix in for an ear infection and a couple of hot spots. I was able to get him in same day! They prescribed drops and some meds for him to take. In under 48 hours, he was back to his normal self. The main reason why this is getting 5 stars is because their follow up is outstanding!! Before my husband even left the visit, i had a copy of the office visit note in my inbox. I was able to get all of the details of the appointment instead of my husbands 2nd hand version. THEN they reached out a couple of days later to check on him to see how he was doing. He is almost 9 years old and has suffered with allergies and hot spots. Having to go to a vet every couple months for steroids and creams and to have the wounds cleaned and I’ve never had a vet follow up and check on him. He’s my first baby and it means alot to have an office care as much as i do.

I've been trying to find a vet I liked for my 2 cats since I moved to the area about 18 months ago. I like this one so far; prices are similar to the 2 previous vets, it was easy to get appointments scheduled and everyone seems pretty nice. I saw Dr Schroeder; she took the time to understand my cat's condition, make sure my concerns were addressed, gave some advice on how to help my cat loose weight (a secondary concern), and help me feel comfortable bringing my cats back. The tech worked well with my cat, tho I could tell she was more used to dogs.

They have been our vet for many years for several pets and have always provided great service. We had to put my daughter's cat down recently and they were exceptional. Very caring, patient and understanding.

These people are amazing and very friendly. Brought my dog in because he was not feeling well. They took excellent care of him!!! Thank you very much !!

They always make time for us whenever any kind of issue comes up. They also handled the loss of our pet recently with great care and understanding, even sending a wonderful sympathy card to us afterwards.

The doctors and staff have always shown expert care and genuine compassion during all stages of my cats' lives.

They have been taking care of our fur baby since she was 8 weeks old. Now at 6 years old, she receives the same excellent care that she did back then. The daycare is a great place to help your dog socialize with others and its a great way to give your fur baby some exercise. The staff and doctors are all professional and know exactly what your pet needs. Great place, and I would highly recommend using them for any future needs.

We have been taking our pups here for years. The staff has always been super friendly and Dr Gary is just fantastic! He was very empathetic and offered supportive advice when we were facing the tough decision of putting our little old man of 15 years down. Their boarding is fantastic as well.

I got answers and medication after a few calls on Friday, but when I called Monday for the problem continuing they said they would call me back (twice) & never did.

Wow! Such a friendly caring staff! The treated my dog awesome! Will definitely be back.

We recently lost our Sheltie dog, Bailey. Dr. Bill did an outstanding job on treating Bailey for her kidney problem. He did everything possible to help Bailey and is a very compassionate doctor and shows an extreme amount of empathy for us in Bailey's needs. Dr. Bill, Dr. Gary, and the complete staff at Heartland Animal Hospital are the best! I highly recommend this hospital for all your pets needs!

Dr. Parsons and the Heartland team are super friendly and helpful. Both of the dogs were comfortable with them. Plus I received a followup email outlining all the details of each dogs exam. Great service and care!

We've been so pleased with Heartland since making the switch two years ago! The staff is wonderful, and the doctors are great at what they do!

We recently lost our fur-baby and everyone from the front office, fill in Vet Dr. Perkins and the techs were amazing. They treated me and my baby with love, compassion and respect. I was able to spend the time I needed to say goodbye. I've always felt good about our care here but that day changed everything. They proved to me they are all in their positions for the right reasons. We will definitely be lifetime customers.

Cats are taken care of very well for regular check ups, they bring up all info that's needed to be known, care for my pets wonderfully. My male and female cat had spay/neuter and they cared for them wonderful and carefully. Had to bring female back because she started bleeding and they made sure that everything was good with her, even though it wasn't their fault. (She overextended herself from anxiety after surgery). Wonderful friendly staff!

My girl Abby has been sick with pancreatitis and she wasn't feeling well and anxious all night and she threw up her food so I called Heartland and they were kind enough to see her. The vet tech was informative and Dr. Brealt., examined her and was very thorough and informative. Very gentle and interacted with her. Sent home food and medication. I didn't need a bunch of requirements so she could be seen. Very thankful.

Unfortunately I can no longer recommend Heartland. My family has taken their pets to Heartland for 20 years and we have taken our dog to them for 11, even when we lived in another state. In recent years customer service has declined drastically and has become all about money. What made me decide to pull our fur baby from their care is when I called to get a years worth of his monthly medicine shipped to me. She informed me he was past due for his annual exam and would not be able to send it. My dog goes back to Kansas for a few months to spend time with my in laws and we always schedule his vet appointments during that time. This time they were unable to get him in and we were forced to skip it. Had we known we would not be able to get his monthly medicine because of this we would have made other arrangements. When I spoke with them a few months ago about the annual exam they informed me we HAD to do the senior exam instead of just the regular. At double the price. Which has never been forced on us before. We’ve always had an option. With my dog getting older I’m well aware I will have to make a very tough decision in the coming years. I always thought I would be making that decision with Heartland. It saddens me that the vet he’s known his whole life will no longer be apart of that plan but I guess that’s what happens when you put money over your lifelong patients.

We recently switched to Heartland and have been blown away by the kindness, availability and care we have received from everyone there. Highly recommend!

Entire staff and Doctors are always so polite and caring. Know your babies by name and treat them as one of their own. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you all.

We have been taking our dogs to Heartland since we moved to Wichita 8 years ago and we feel blessed to have found such caring people to take care of our dogs! They’re all amazing!
