The vet techs and Dr. Sparrow were so thorough and sweet with our little dog, Pumpkin. They were also upfront with all prices. The prices seemed fair to me compared to other vets. They took their time explaining everything and really looking over my little dog. They go over what is best and keep pricing in mind. You can tell they just want what is best for the animals. Thanks for a great first visit. We will be back!

Somerset Animal Hospital is truly the best!! Every staff member is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable!! Our fur babies can get very anxious but they are never nervous coming to Somerset as the staff is so loving and caring! I have been taking my animals here for years. They have always been so great to my pets. The location is very clean and they are extremely professional. Always good about answering questions as they come up.

We took our new puppy to somerset animal hospital and they were very sweet with her. The vet came out to the car and chatted with us about our new puppy which made us feel much better about our new life of puppy parenting. She answered all of our questions, and we had a lot. After our visit we received a hand written note from the vet welcoming our pup. We are very confident we made the right choice in going to somerset. A+

The vet techs were friendly, responsive, and helpful, and Dr. Sparrow was so nice and answered all of the questions I had about my dog’s breed. Highly recommended!

We adore Dr. Sparrow! We have a nervous/high maintenance dog and she is the most patient an caring with her! Somerset provides great, personable service and we are so happy to call them our vet!

I can not say enough about how grateful I am for the professional care and kindness that Dr Betzen and his team provide. He takes his time in explaining options for treatment, and his entire staff are just the kind of people I want to care for my pets. We are lucky to have such a wonderful group here in Prairie Village, and I recommend them without any hesitation.

It's a bit like going to a 5 star hotel, only down to earth. Dr. Betsen even gets down at the dog's level and communicates. The staff is the best staff I have ever worked with. Efficient, competent, resourceful and so much more.

I'm so happy we found this doctor to handle the end-of-life care for our dog. It was disappointing that our long-time vet of 10+ years couldn't make time to see him and help us through the process. However, we feel fortunate to find the staff at Somerset. They went above and beyond in a very difficult time. They are our go-to for our other family dog, and will be for any future pets!

I was looking to change veterinarians after moving and I’m so happy I found Somerset. A few days before our new patient appointment, I found a pretty bad hot spot on my dog. I called to see if they could somehow squeeze us in on a Saturday morning before close and they were extremely accommodating. The staff was absolutely wonderful and very informative. My dog can have quite a bit of anxiety at the vet and Dr. Betzen and his staff were fantastic at helping to ease that anxiety. I will definitely make this our new veterinarian. I highly recommend Somerset.

Loved Dr. Betzen! He and Ashley were just great. Our dog is very old and very "opinionated". He needed sedation to get his nails cut, ears cleaned and an exam. They performed a "trick" to get the sedation going that is like nothing I have ever seen before. Almost no stress! All staff speak in plain language and look you in the eye with open kindness. Our dog's ear is healing fast. We will return!

The doctors are very educated and have amazing compassion for all situations. The entire staff is always helpful and flexible, during the happiest and saddest of times with your beloved pet. I've been going to Somerset Veterinary Clinic since its previous owner for more than 22 years. Now I left recently due to the rude staff and uncaring veterinarian. No one called me back when I l left several messages, and they were so insulting to me I had to walk out and took my dogs records with me.

Amaizing group. Very caring and educated me on several points concerning my Furry Kids. Dr. Schmidt is one of the best vet Surgeons in the city. Five Stars, and will never take my dogs anywhere else.

I took my English Bulldog puppy here for its first checkup and the clinic is very nice. The staff and vet were awesome. Definitely taking my dog back here for its checkups.

Such a great Vet that I am willing to drive 45 minutes just to go. Willing to try and help people over the phone if you go here before requesting that you bring the pet in.
