Really great service. I was impressed. The vet called to let me know test results -- even though no action was needed. I appreciated the follow up.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Puts pets needs first and takes time to listen. Takes in account of the cost of services (if needed) and discusses options. Would highly recommend!

Nothing could have been better about our visit. Dr. Jenn (and Dr. Anna) are wonderful veterinarians. I would never consider taking our pets anywhere else for care. We completely trust these veterinarians. Great vets and great staff. This veterinary hospital is a true gem.

Because of Dr. Jen Bussen do not go here. (TL;DR below) First, my original veterinarian at this establishment was out sick, which is completely understandable. My original veterinarian is very professional and informative for my cat as well as the technicians are wonderful. However, I do not appreciate Dr. Jen Bussen's professionalism at all. I had brought my cat in to get updated on vaccines, however, Dr. Bussen noticed he was congested and commented if it is chronic my cat may have herpes. My original vet did not comment on how this could be an issue. Dr. Bussen then proceeded to say that a screening would be $208 plus medications. I love my cat dearly and I will do everything in my power even spending hundreds of dollars for his health, however it is always responsible to explore your options. This is where I had an issue with Dr. Bussen's professionalism. I asked when was the enrollment period for pet insurance. Dr Bussen replies in a condescending tone, "There is no enrollment for pet insurance." She continues in a teasing tone, "Also pre-existing conditions!! Coulda, shoulda, woulda!" - I asked about pet insurance concerning the fact that if my cat does test positive, the screening plus medications may become pricey and I wanted to explore my options. - I care deeply about my cat and a chronic illness should be taken seriously. I am not looking for short cuts, I'm looking for the best ways to support the health of my cat at the best price possible as anyone would do. - A chronic illness should not be taken lightly and saying "Coulda, shoulda, woulda." in response to asking about insurance felt very dismissive to my cat's health. Dr. Bussen needs to understand all social classes should be able to have a pet to love despite what financial burdens they have. If the person is willing to try to find the best option of care then support them than being condescending and dismissive for asking. TL;DR: I will be finding another vet because, I believe if you love your pets the vet should be compassionate as well and should help you find options to give them the best care at the best price. Dr. Bussen's lack of professionalism showed she cares more about judging people's way of financing their pet's health than the pet itself. Find another vet that will help you get options for chronic illnesses, not judge you. Remember: I feel if a doctor ever did this to your child, you would simply find a doctor more professional. Pets are children, treat them as such.

They were really nice, got me in quickly and loved my cat. It didn't cost very much to get all of his 6 month stuff done. I enjoyed it and will be going back.

I had a great experience with LVH. The staff was prompt, caring, and very knowledgeable. I greatly appreciate they care they gave to my new cat Alvin and was very impressed with the level of professionalism that was demonstrated with every aspect of Alvin's checkup. Thank you to everyone a LHV for providing such excellent service!

We had made the difficult decision to put down our dog and they were very thoughtful and considerate throughout the entire process. They made us aware of each step and I appreciate their helping us say goodbye at our own pace.

I have been taking my cats here for the past 5 years and I love this place. Dr. Jen and Dr. Anna and their staff are competent, compassionate, resourceful, empathetic, and pleasant to talk to as well. I have had to have 3 cats euthanized in those 5 years, and each time the experience has been peaceful and surprisingly comforting. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Oh, and don't forget their unofficial mascot—the toothless dog, Penny, whose tongue is as long and waggly as her tail! I am thankful for these fine folks and their wonderful clinic.

Lawrence Veterinary Hospital has now helped both of my dogs with very scary situations. The staff took amazing care of our dogs and of us, the scared dog parents, as well. We will be forever customers of Lawrence Veterinary Hospital.

Wonderful veterinary office. Have treated my cats wonderfully and answered all questions. Another perk is they dont cost you an arm and a leg. The only "con" is you're not allowed inside due to covid.

I honestly do not know how my experience could have been made any better. Everyone and everything was so top notch on my emergency visit with my almost sever year old pup- Bell. Thank you SO much for your prompt attention and thorough follow up a couple of days later to check on her. She has returned to a spring in her step and gleam in her eye. We are so grateful!

Totally patient (pet) centered care with excellent information and options shared in advance. Wouldn't take our pets anywhere else - actually, we *haven't* taken our pets anywhere else. For 20+ years.

I’ve always received exceptional and affordable care from Lawrence Veterinary Hospital, but my experiences today in particular are what prompted this review. One of my cats swallowed a piece of a flip-flop causing a life/death intestinal blockage and we initially spent 1000 at Blue Pearl last night only for them to tell us they need to run more tests, I knew those would cost more than I could afford so I turned them down because I had a strong suspicion of what the problem was anyway. BP kept him overnight and then I took him to Lawrence Vet early this morning; got X-rays and bloodwork that showed nothing helpful so Dr Jen Bussen offered me a few options (just keep an eye on him, send him back to BP for ultrasound which was going to pile on the expenses $$, or take him straight into exploratory surgery in attempt to locate/remove foreign object). After deciding we had a strict budget to stick to, I took a risk and trusted my gut about the situation and sent him straight into surgery; which ended up being much more affordable than quoted! Surgery was a success! A million thanks to Dr Jen and the wonderful techs who found and removed the obstruction and saved my sweet boys life!! Me and my husband are deeply, deeply grateful for the care our furry friends consistently receive here! Thank you all so much.
