Incredibly understanding during a very difficult time.

We needed to euthanize our eldest dog. They were compassionate, understanding, and patient. They even charged less than our typical veterinarian (who needed an appointment to euthanize our dog who was in excruciating pain). MU Vet Center is top notch should you find yourself in this unfortunate situation.

Straight up righteous place in one of the most anxiety-ridden times of our lives. We don't want to go there again, but if we have, we'll be elbowing our way in!

Prices were a bit high but they were the only vet willing to see us. Top of the line service. They went above and beyond to help us with our dying cat. I do have to say that the high prices were worth it. They made us feel welcome and special.

They are good and reasonable prices for animal treatment.

My poor mom had to put down her 13 year old Siamese Dexter this weekend. Dexter was having trouble breathing and lost use of his back legs. The tall guy with a pony tail at the front desk came out to the car and said he was fine because he could meow. I demanded someone else come check him out and the guy stormed away and went back inside, because he could barely breathe. A few minutes later another lady came out and immediately took Dexter in, and we ultimately found out he had a blood clot let loose and went in his lung. We had to euthanized Dexter that night. The whole experience with the rude guy with no empathy made the whole ordeal so much worse. Dexter was a great family pet for 13 years, and the guy who checked on him had no empathy and said he was fine!!!! And then ultimately has to be euthanized the same evening, I would say Dexter was not fine!!! I asked for the employees name, and they would not give it to me, and said someone would be in contact with me, and no one has called or reached out.

Christmas eve (of course!) and the only place open. Relieved that they were very professional and compassionate. Will definitely go back if we need them again...

Recently we had to have one of our dogs put to sleep. It was the first time my children had to go through anything like this and it was very hard for them. The staff was extremely comforting and even sent us a hand written letter in the mail several days later. Very impressed with the level of service they provided. It felt like they went above and beyond.

Came in the middle of the night with my dieing cat and they wouldn't do anything about it unless I had several hundred dollars to pay for treatment up front now I know every place we called gave us the same reaction but these places are called emergency vets key word emergency vets as in only option the average person doesn't have hundreds of dollars to spend at random literally if they would of gave me 24 hours I could have paid for it and I literally showed up animal in hand and no one would help but if a human goes to a hospital they are treated no matter what does no one see something wrong with that

We brought my dog here for emergency surgery after getting really bad vibes from Blue Pearl who wouldn't give me anything specific for the estimate and kept changing the estimate for no reason. MU did a good job, the customer service was great, Cionna was really sweet and really gentle with my dog who was in pain, they were responsive so I could check on my dog, and she's healing great. We got an itemized estimate and what we paid was on the lower end of that estimate. The only reason this gets a 4 is that I used my credit card here for the deposit, and they took it inside since they're not allowing people in due to COVID. So I let them take my card and I hadn't used it for anything else in weeks. A few days later a fairly small random charge showed up on my account which we immediately disputed. I don't know for sure if my information was stolen, but I would keep an eye on your card activity afterward. Everything else was great though.

Drove over an hour for their help. Wonderful staff, very caring. I will definitely recommend them for emergency services.

Expensive care more about money than the animals, only good thing was the person up front

If you love your pet, and you can take them anywhere else but here, DO IT. These doctors and nurses don't have an OUNCE of empathy. The doctor literally scoffed and laughed when saying my dog had to be put down, or take the drive to Kstate or MU to help. Obviously we took the drive out to Kstate because our dog is like our baby. . The nurses are rude. Basically they did everything you wouldn't want someone who's telling you your dog is dying, with 0 empathy or kindness. Do not support this walk azz vet office.

They helped us during the loss of our cat. I called several other nearby clinics and the reply they gave us was not good. MU will be our vet clinic from now on!

The staff was so kind and were able to concisely answer all of my questions. I felt comfortable leaving my pet in their hands.

Rude staff. I should've left the parking lot after waiting 2 hours to get my dog inside. So much for "emergency" I'm serious.

Brought my dog here three nights ago they said nothing was wrong with her, three days later I rushed my pup back to this place only for them to tell me my dog passed of congestive heart failure. Not only that they had the audacity to call me no sooner than I got in my car to ask for payment as if I wasn’t grieving the loss my baby. My daughter came to console me and a customer “Karen” started a shoving war at the door that she answered as if she was security. I could go on and on but if you’re seeking a place of compassion for your fur baby, DO NOT GO THERE. R.I.P to my baby Angel whom probably would’ve lived had they throughly examined her on the prior visit. These folks don’t care about your animals

Took our pet hamster in because he had an eye infection. They gave us an antibiotic ointment that cleared it up. Open on weekends.

Quick, efficient, and kind. Everything we would want for going to an off hour emergency center. Will go here again for emergency visits.

Excellent...cares more for animals than bottom line.

My dog had an allergic reaction to something and her face was swollen. I came in yesterday panicking and probably wasn't the easiest to deal with for the reception (you call the number on their door and answer questions and check in your animal that way and they come out and get your animal) but they were so sweet and understanding got my dog taken care of quick. It was very expensive but it's an ER so I was expecting that. They did wonderful work the vet was so sweet the reception was so sweet wonderful people they really do care about animals and you can tell. Loved them

Very pleasant experience for a very sad situation!

Tried taking our hamster in to have him looked at. They told us that they could not help us and that we would have to go to Columbia Missouri to have him looked at. Very unprofessional and poor service.

I had an emergency with my puppy, they got us right in the whole thing didn’t take more than about 30-45 minutes and didn’t cost me a fortune. staff was very pleasing as well. Highly recommend.

Almost paid 6000. For an unneeded surgery.

Absolutely amazing staff, friendly and very knowledgeable! More than willing to answer any and all questions regarding your fur babies, even over the phone (even in the middle of the night), all without acting inconvenienced! But the best part, they're honest about the fees and prices for services! I would recommend to someone looking for an emergency vet!! Definitely trust them with my fur baby!
