I absolutely love this store! I moved back to KCMO after living in Austin, TX and shopping at Krisers where I would get Primal for my cat. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find it when I moved back, but I was so lucky I was able to find this cute little shop! They also carry my cats favorite treats and they have the cutest little dog cookies that I can surprise my partners dog with. Rusty is also absolutely adorable and I love seeing him when he's there!

Friendly service, plenty of local products, and a decent selection in general. I've come in a few times for things like treats, collars, and beds for my 2 dogs. I'll always prefer a local shop like this over a big box store.

I am a holistic all natural breeder and they had goat milk that I was looking for for my puppies along with raw dog food raw freeze dried and I definitely will return you can also pre-order good parking plenty of parking and curbside service.

Had such a great time at Tail Waggin! The cookies are simply the cutest little things and found a perfect ball thrower for my pup! Owner are the nicest souls. 10/10 would recommend.

While the owners are friendly enough, unfortunately they fell entirely into the whole "grain free" fad and never looked up if it was actually based on any real evidence. When multiple studies have now shown that no, grain-free isn't better, and in fact many (MANY) of the grain-free foods are nutritionally cardboard for dogs. When I asked about them getting in some healthier brands or asked them about what they were going to do about this, they literally laughed at me. They have a good location and the pet washing things are a nice option, just don't ask them for advice on... well, the health of your pet, I guess, if they're willing to ignore real evidence on the harm of the food they sell. I stopped supporting them because I care more about the health of our pets than whether some fad is right or not. Edit: the reply is pretty selective in pointing out isolated issues of other brands. The last time I was there, every single dry food on the shelves was grain-free that had been specifically called out in multiple studies as contributing to poor health in dogs long term, or some kind of "specialty" food. But no mention of addressing that and I imagine you still carry Taste of the Wild et all since the grain-free brands have aggressively marketed themselves to this day. They mention research and length of time but those are meaningless if you don't respond to significant, uncomfortable scientific research published over multiple recent years. The lack of nutrients in those brands don't affect some batches or some dogs, it is literally all dogs that don't happen to get sufficient supplements from another source while on those dry foods.

The young man that works here is incredibly polite, welcoming and knowledgeable. The store is clean and well stocked. We came back for a nail trim and the lady who does that is the best I have ever gone to. So glad to have found this place.

Nice low-key place to get furbaby supplies. Not a huge selection, but you definitely get the feeling all items are carefully hand-picked for you to peruse. The quality seems very nice on everything. Look forward to being able 2 feed our lil man the chill out peanut butter brownies when 4th of July fireworks hit in our neighborhood.

It's a very nice local pet store. The owners and staff are all very friendly and helpful. They have a dog washing stations where you can wash your dogs yourself and they provide a variety of shampoos conditioners. Will definitely be going back again with our boys.

Shop local at this locally owned pet shop. I don't have a dog, but every time a friend adds some fur to their family, I try to buy them a little gift from Tail Waggin'. They have some of my favorite toys to gift doggos. My boyfriends parents dog totally tore up the little stuffed reindeer we got him from here (in a good way). They also have a great variety of treats. The best part about Tail Waggin' is the staff. The staff are so kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and helpful, without being intrusive. They always have a great idea for me for what to buy for my next pet gift. Next time you're in the Crossroads, head over to Tail Waggin' and explore their shop. It's places like these that make KC great.

I love shopping here for my German Shepard! I buy both FROMM and Orijins here, as well as probiotics, bones, and dog bags! They even deliver to my house in midtown! Wonderful people and I’ll be shopping here as long as I live in Kansas City!

Great local spot! Organic dog and cat food, chew toys and more. The man working the register gave my girlfriend some samples for her cat who is very picky about food, how kind! Highly recommended

Best bath service in town! I seriously can’t believe how shiny and soft my Aussie’s fur is since his bath here. He always had really healthy fur but this is next level. The bath stations are easy to use and offer a variety of premium shampoos and conditioners available. The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming to both dogs and their humans ???? thanks for the great service!

I am so glad I have the local Kansas City gem - Tail Waggin' PetStop - in my neighborhood! I sometimes get nervous about parking in the busy Crossroads, but Tail Waggin' has parking spots reserved for customers in a lot north of the store, just a few steps away. I have a dog and a cat and Tail Waggin' has everything I need. They have tons of high quality food brands. BUT, my (and my pets') favorite sections are the treats and the toys!! I like getting the Bosco & Roxy's cookies (the fun shapes change every season) for special occasions, chews, catnip toys and Kong items. I have a chihuahua but they have mini versions of Kongs and balls as well as the full-size versions! I love that they have KC Chiefs and Royals gear!! Finally, the DIY bathing area is really nice. Being able to wash my pup with their shampoo, use their towels to dry off, and not have to clean up my whole bathroom at home after is WONDERFUL! :)

We bathed our dog here and it was great. So nice to use a setup designed for washing dogs!
