Absolutely amazing place! We brought our cat boba there for help. They gave amazing care and made sure to check in. Even when they were busy. You could tell they actually care about the animals. Will bring our babies there anytime. Thank you guys so much!

Unfortunately after taking my dogs here for 10 years it time to switch vets! I took a rescue dog here to be neutered and paid in full (obviously they charge up front) long story short the dog was already neutered so they charged me full price for Because they put him to sleep before they found out, anyways a year later I get a letter in the mail saying I owe them 300+ dollars. Nothing I can do because I paid in cash at the time of service. Very disappointed. I will always tell tell people to stay far away from here if they don’t want there credit ruined.

Pricing is not to bad. Staff is friendly and great. One of my cats us very anxious and won't let anyone but me hold her down.

Please do NOT take your dogs here. Way over priced for grooming. The haircut is terribly done. My dog also came back very scared, extremely thirsty, and starved. Not only is it extremely overpriced, but it’s not worth what they charge. They cut my dogs nails way too short and hurt her paws. Terrible service overall, DO NOT RECOMMEND! Please take your dog somewhere else.

If you are looking for excellent veterinary care for your fur-baby, this is the place. I once was a German Shepherd breeder, and never experienced a problem with my litters. Now as a mommy to 3 fur-babies, I still received the same excellent customer service.

I have been bringing all my dogs here since they were little puppy's and I refuse to take them anywhere else!! One of my dogs got real sick and had to have surgery but ended up passing away 2 days after. They went above and beyond to try to help my dog clutch! They were so supportive of me during this hard time but they made everything work out smooth as butter! I will always take my dogs here and i would highly recommend them to anyone!! On top of them being so nice and so professional they also had some of the best prices you will find in the Midwest!!

The place is highly recommended and the staff is excellent! They are very patient with me that I am just learning to speak English. The doctor who attends to my dog Linda, is very loving with animals and very professional. I am extremely grateful.

My dog Nova has been a patient of Dr. Swope's since his was a puppy. He's 8 now and is healthy and happy, thanks to the amazing care he's received over the years. The prices are is extremely reasonable and the vet tam are the most loving, caring and absolutely amazing group of people you'll ever meet!

Our dog was dying, so we took him here, as we always did, to try to see what was happening and whether or not he could be saved. We agreed to have tests run and have him kept at the hospital overnight, but in the end the veterinarian could only, quite literally, shrug his shoulders and tell my distraught wife and nine year-old daughter that he can't find anything wrong with our dog, while the dog was foaming at the mouth and having a seizure in front of all of us. When I asked the vet what we should do now, he shrugged his shoulders again and said, annoyed, "I can put him down if you want me to, but I'm not gonna tell you what to do." We paid them $200 for all this, then left, watched our dog die further for about another day, then I took him to an emergency animal hospital where they actually told me what was wrong with my boy, and gently put him out of his terrible misery. Anyway, this was three years ago, but it still really bothers me. It's an experience that I wish I never had.

Amazing people! I love knowing my pups are in great care while they are here, it’s also great knowing the bill is always honest and fair. This is and always will be my vet of choice!

I was in the process of moving to a new apartment and had to get both of my dogs vaccinated and up-to-date. This was my first time here at Northeast Animal Hospital and the staff was very helpful in helping me handle my dogs by, for example, providing me a muzzle for my larger, more athletic and active dog, and sharing tips on how to properly hold them during the vaccination process. They were also very knowledgeable, too, I thought, in educating me on preventative measures I could take for the health of my dogs, like regular heart worm medication, which I learned could be transferred through mosquitos. They referenced Cesar Milan, too, and how his online videos will better educate myself as well as other dog owners and help curb any unwanted behavioral issues. And, the fact that they provide boarding services for dogs was a huge plus for me because I travel and don't like leaving them at home all day. But, with this I can travel even more and for longer knowing that they are in good hands. All in all, I'm glad I found this place, and, they're right down the street on Independence Avenue, cheaper than other animal hospitals I looked at online before coming here.

I've been taking my cats to NE animal clinic for over 20 years. They saved snowball when she got a string wrapped around her tongue. Eric has always been so kind and helpful. All the staff actually and Dr. Swopes is the best vet out there ! the prices are reasonable and they have worked with me on billing when I needed it. So if you need an experienced, knowledgeable vet and staff, with a friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend NE animal clinic. They seem to genuinely care for your animals well being and you as a person.

Did outstanding on my cats

Our normal vet is in IA but one of our kids had a strange wound(maybe a spider bite) and they got us in immediately and were wonderful. They did their best to keep him comfortable while they shaved the site and quickly sent us on the way with the meds we needed. Everyone was great and they didn't overcharge for anything. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Eric is good; he helped me with getting my girl's licensing taken care of, he actually just called the people for me. I think it's because he's nice and he really just wanted to get it dealt with...either way, a huge help.

Brought my dog in for a simple allergy shot and they never came in the room to look at my dog...waited for an hour and nobody came to help...my dog was crying loud the whole time getting stressed. BAD SERVICE!!! We are going to an emergency vet now
