I called spring valley who we have used for our dog since moving here in 2018 at approximately 5:15 tonight after my kids informed my husband and me that are dog hadn’t moved off the couch all day, wouldn’t get up to go outside or eat/drink and yelped when you would touch her. The response that I got from the receptionist who answered the phone has left me so upset, reconsidering if this is where I want to take my dog anymore and just totally in disbelief that someone could be so ruthless/heartless. The response I got from the receptionist was do you know we’ve been open since 8 am and are closing in 10 minutes, basically asking me where I have been all day instead of tending to my possibly injured dog earlier? I said yes I realize you are about to close and I am sorry to be calling at this time but my husband and me just got home from work and are kids just now told us about our dog. I asked if there was anyway they could do just a quick exam/visual look over on my dog just to make sure there was nothing wrong that would be possibly life threatening/need immediate attention? Still to my astonishment the receptionist was so cruel despite the situation, flat out saying we can’t help you but you can try k-state emergency vet. So guess where we went with are dog, yes that’s right we went to k-state emergency vet paying the $142 emergency fee without having to even think twice and received top notch treatment/care for are dog. This has got me so distraught as like I said we have been bringing our dog to your vet since 2018 but the treatment/attitude this receptionist gave off has really left me extremely upset, questioning whether or not this is the place I want to take my dog anymore and whether or not this receptionist belongs working in a position that requires providing customer service, cause she definitely lacks the ability to provide quality customer service. I hope if this was her animal she would not receive this disrespecting treatment.

I won't go anywhere else with my pets. Everyone has always been so nice, helpful and friendly! Theresa is the best, and has gone above and beyond for years to make sure my pets were taken care of. The couple of times there was nothing she could do anymore, we're both so freakin emotional, and she was wonderful. I even got a sympathy card in the mail. We'll always have furbabies, and as long as she's around, she'll be our Vet.

I highly recommend this clinic right off the bat. The lady here immediately knew right away what to look for when I told her my baby girl Kiras' problem. She was straight forward and gave me everything I needed to get my little sweetheart better and I couldn't be more thankful. It was hurting my heart seeing my puppy not eat and today after following their instructions she has a nice full tummy and is happy as can be. Thank you all so much you will be seeing us regularly!!! ❤️

Nice friendly people took time to answer my question

I had used this vet for all my animals. I was surprised by the rude receptionists when I called. She said they were busy and would not see my cat that had gotten into a plant that was highly toxic to them and blew it off as if it was nothing. I called another vet that I had never used and took her in as the emergency because of the plants toxity and treated her immediately. I had always loved and recommended springvalley vet...this will not ever be the case again.

Dr. McCreath is such a great vet and very practical. She doesn't try to sell you on things that aren't necessary and absolutely respects your decisions.

Very inappropriate customer service from the front desk. I was in desperate need for help with my dog and said I had called 1001 places and she said “no we don’t accept payment plans and here’s 1002”

They really love your pets, almost as much as you do. Great staff, and I love that they talk to you, not down to you.
