Great service. Very clean. My only complaint is it doesn’t feel like they listen to what you have to say and if you have to make big decisions they don’t take into account finances. I feel like more empathy could go a long way. Asked for a call back from a vet recently and instead was given a call by the receptionist saying I needed to schedule an appointment.

Very friendly staff and always are willing to answer all of my questions to ensure my dogs are cared for the best they can be. Pretty reasonable pricing.

I really love these guys, my pup is very nervous and reactive and the first vet I took her too was very rude about her being reactive and didn’t take my suggestions of a muzzle seriously, these guys have been so welcoming and accommodating making her feel so much better than where she’s been before. I very much recommend them!

I took my 2 year old cat Moo here because she needed her regular checkup and was having ear problems. The staff was very friendly and very responsive. The veterinarian herself called me and we went over the results and treament. Even with the covid restrictions this was a very quick and easy appointment. Professional and Moo was all better in 2 weeks. Also, they accepted my pet insurance no problem.

We use Grand Avenue Veterinary Hospital for our dog, for both routine exams/vaccines as well as sick visits. Everyone there is friendly, caring and very knowledgeable. Most importantly, they treat our dog with gentleness and true concern for his well-being. They understand our dog is a part of the family! I highly recommend Grand Avenue Vet Hospital.

We have been going to Grand Ave. Vet for over 40 years and have had nothing but the best care for our pets. Outstanding care and expertise from the entire staff. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for medical assistance for our pets.

I turned to google to find this place, so good reviews led me here. I brought my 80 lb German Shepherd there today for the first time. My dog is a very particular pup who doesn't always love new people, especially people trying to poke at her! But, they were so welcoming and understanding and worked so well with her from start to finish. I was so relieved. Prices also very reasonable :)

Franky was in for his yearly check and as usual everyone was friendly and helpful. They had a plan to keep us a part as is recommended at this time and were quick to explain the how and why. I have been taking my 4 legged babies here for over 20 years and would not go anywhere else.

We’ve been going here for years. Recently our dog was sick, they saw her right away, diagnosed the problem and prescribed medicine. She got better quickly. Grand Avenue Vet also called in few days to see how she was. Awesome service!!

Used to love this vet. Over the course of the years I’ve given thousands of dollars to this office. Today I called to see if I could get ear drops for some ear mites on my dog. They refused to give me any options without paying for another entire examination. Which usually ends up being well over 350$. We live in waukee and will be taking our Dog to a veterinary office out here who many friends, co workers, and family recommend. The woman I talked to was not concerned with anything about our needs or our dogs needs. She only wanted to schedule an exam. Didn’t offer to let me speak to our doctor there or anything. So very sad and breaks my heart.

Dr. Suzanne Robinson provides the excellent services. The day before Thanksgiving we needed an urgent help and we got it the same day. Only NECESSARY tests were done, we got a professional help and in 2 days our dog was absolutely healthy! It's amazing how the hospital staff takes care of your dog as if it was their own. Million thanks to doctor Robinson and her personnel!

I went in to ask them to simply trim my dogs nails they said I had to establish care first. Understandable but really can't give a opinion on care since I did not obtain care for my precious pooch but I will say the place looked clean and the people seemed friendly

The staff at Grand Ave truly care about your pets - you can tell they are all animal people! It feels like they love your fur child just as much as you do, and they care about their well being. The stigma that dogs know and hate going to the vet doesn't happen here. Despite having to be poked and proded, have surgery and have to stay there for a day or so, going back for a check up my dog (who is very introverted) had her whole butt wagging when she realized where we were and ran right up to the nurse that had helped her last time, getting all sorts of loves from her. They call to follow up and see how they are doing, see if you have any questions - my own doctor's office doesn't do that lol. Over the weekend, my dog had to be seen as she was in a lot of pain, and while they didn't have any openings, they directed me to the emergency hospital down the road. Still - Grand Ave followed up with me today to see how my dog was doing. I HIGHLY recommend them, in addition to the above - they are well priced and go over everything with you. Thank you to all the staff at your clinic - I recommend you to everyone I know. Thank you for being there for our furry loved ones, and for the pet parents who's hearts are breaking when their pets are hurting.

They never followed up on my very sick dog. I wouldn’t trust them.
