When we got our Wire Fox Terrier last October (yes, he was a pandemic puppy) I called all over the DSM metro to find someone who did hand stripping. I was so excited to learn that Megan not only knew the skill, but loved working with Terriers! For the last year or so she's helped us care for our pup, Hugo, and not only has kept him looking stylish but also helps us keep his coat/nails/ears clean and healthy. She is professional and loving - and Hugo has no fear going to get groomed. One thing I particularly like about Styling Paws and Megan is that they keep great records of what services they did the visit before and when we drop him off for an appointment, they always ask if there are any changes or updates we'd like them to do. We didn't want him to have the "show dog look" and wanted something a bit more relaxed - Megan helped us find the right look for us that is easy to maintain! It is so great to be able to trust your dog's groomer to not only do the job you're paying them to do, but to genuinely provide personalized care for your furry family member. They are the only ones I will trust with my dogs. Whether it is housing or grooming.

They have been great at trimming my boys' claws. They were even able to slowly introduce one to the dremel (which he howled at in the past). Great people!

Caitlin always does an awesome job with Ollie and we are always extremely happy with his cut! I have a very anxious, old pup so to see him so energetic and peppy after his appointments makes me so happy! He really is in great hands here. We've been going here for several years now and have no plans to go anywhere else. Thank you, Caitlin, for always taking such good care of Ollie!

My wife and I have been taking Jeb in almost everyday Saturday for the last month or so to work with Megan on nail trims. Jeb was very fearful when we first started but with Megan’s patience and enthusiasm to work with him we’ve seen great progress. We are always so happy to go in and see everyone and they treat him as if he were there dog too. Everyone in the office has been so kind and helpful. We have recommended the salon to family members and friends and will continue to do so!

Truely a great place to take your little furrballs. Well in my case, Moose the Newfoundland. Always listens and does what the customer request. I do advise planning in advance and scheduling your pup a few weeks out. Moose loves his appointments. Prices are pretty great in my opinion as well. Picture of Moose going camping the same day we got him groomed. Needless to say, time out little buddy was out the car he was jumping in the water and rolling in the sand. Once again… great staff and customer experience.

My experience here is limited. However, they seem to be good people; they do what's right for my dog; and Finnegan loves them!

We had multiple grooming visits that went well with our young pup. After our last visit we will never bring our dog there again. *Stylin Paws reached out to make things right with our dog. Increased the review to 3 stars.

(Bates' suffered lacerations on his neck and back leg requiring stitches halfway through a groom at Stylin' Paws - See initial review below) Update: The manager was really nice and offered to pay for Bates' medical bills and complete the groom for free. She even offered to make the appointment as soon as Bates' stitches were removed and I really appreciated that. Unfortunately, I got a call the day before the appointment from someone at the shop (not the manager) cancelling the appointment. It had been really difficult taking care of Bates in the weeks following what had happened and I could see the toll it was taking on his self esteem. I couldn't stand to see him have to walk around half groomed for another second. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I went to PetSmart and after consulting with their grooming department, bought a pair of Andes AGC Super 2-Speed Pet Clippers for $150. The PetSmart groomer said that these clippers are the industry standard and are the ones given to you in dog grooming school. It then took me 1.5 hours to cut my dog's hair at home. I have never cut dog hair before and I did not cut into the skin once. While cutting Bates' hair, I realized how difficult it is to cut matted hair and I gained a new appreciation for the work that professional groomers do. But I also realized that there is no excuse for cutting into the skin other than rushing to complete the cut. It was nice to be able to get it done at home in my own time and the clippers should pay for themselves within 3 months! Initial Review: Right now I am sitting in my car outside of Blue Pearl Emergency Vet Clinic because of Covid I am not allowed to be in the room with my dog. I am here because Megan at Stylin Paws caused a laceration on my dog Bates’ neck AND a laceration on his back leg. The cut on his neck is deep enough to require stitches. I believe that I am a reasonable person, but as a dog dad I am cognizant of the fact that I am protective of my dog to an unreasonable level. Professional groomers should understand that, and treat our dogs with a high level of care given that we have entrusted them with our dogs! About one hour after dropping off my dog Bates with every assurance that he would be well taken care of I get a call from Megan the groomer telling me that she has caused a laceration on Bates’ neck and he will need to be taken to the vet immediately to have stitches. I dropped everything and rushed to the store where I was met by two employees casually conversing and laughing amongst themselves. Excuse me, I said, I’m here to pick up my injured dog! I then proceeded to drive 30 minutes across town in a BLIZZARD with Bates crying on my lap. Now, here I am sitting in my car waiting for the veterinarian to call me back on the status of Bates. Saturday ruined. Dog a mess. Frankly, I’m about to lose my ****! You have been warned.

Took my corgi pup to get his first ever grooming here at 5 months old and he looks great! His nails were filed down and the deshedding really helped! Not to mention he's so soft. I asked them how he behaved and they said he was a sweet heart, he's a people person but that's the longest he's been away from me so I know that he must have been in good hands! Very happy, little on the pricey side but I trust them with my pup!

Groomer Megan is Awesome!! Her knowledge of animal behavior, and the time she takes with the animals and the owners is amazing.

Absolutely impressed with the experience here. Our pup looks so great and was happy when we picked her up. Will definitely be back!! :)

Great people who love animals

First time taking my one small and one medium dogs here and they looked great after their grooming. Price is fair as well. I definitely recommend.

We absolutely LOVE our groomer Wynter. Our 14 year old golden retriever has a lot of weakness and aches and pains and she takes SUCH incredibly good care of him.... He has always hated going to other dog grooming salons and would tremble with fear when we would pull up, but he is so relaxed when we get to Stylin Paws and gets so excited to go see Wynter. Plus, he looks and smells amazing afterwards! They do such a great job, the facility is sparkling clean, and everyone is friendly.

Impossible to get ahold of, cannot schedule online as they say bc even when days that have multiple openings are requested they come back and say it’s not available. Tried calling 2 times too, no answer T 2 different locations.

They have a great staff. The office area is cute and clean. Our dog, Lady, hadn't been groomed since the pandemic hit. She was a mess. They did a great job of grooming her. Price is reasonable. Would recommend.
