They may be bursting at the seems with animals but the 2 women who spoke to us were caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Glad we took an orphan home to my friend's home. He is happy and in his forever home.

The staff was very helpful and attentive in helping us adopt two kittens. The facility is very clean and well laid out. We had a great experience with these wonderful people!

We went in to sponsor a few animals as my kids service project for the week, they were so kind and grateful. Plus let the kids spend time with animals and it was short notice. I'm very grateful that they allowed us to do this!

I adopted 2 dogs there one Staffordshire Bull Terrior 2 years ago this coming October she is the sweetest loving dog I love her so so much I'm so thankful thank you boone animal shelter for taking such great care of her . The second dog we adopted about a year later was a small bully she has so much energy I knew she would be perfect for my Staffordshire Bull Terrior a playmate they are the best of friends now again thanks to boone animal shelter. I would highly recommend this great shelter if anyone is thinking about adopting an animal ?

They told me to take 2 dogs that supposedly "can't be separated" but didn't mention that Male dogs especially when one is an alpha and one a runt with multiple other dogs in the group the alpha often times tries to kill the runt to impress the others when one tried to kill the runt the vet told the humane society which we were going to get ride of one of the puppies to stop this after finding out the humane society blamed us for it and threatened to kill the dog and labeled the runt as aggresive for a scratch and the other as extremely aggressive and had to be put down if you want a place that doesn't care about space and money go to the ARL they to the second one

They have been very helpful in the pasted with getting my dogs back when they would escape the yard. They work hard to keep things clean and promote getting animals adopted. I was disappointed that during a free adoption day they let people show up early and take numbers to be served. My son was very disappointed to not get the dog we were wanting but that's how it goes.

We got our little Shelby there and we couldn't be happier. They we all great to us and very friendly. I recomend them to anyone who is looking to give a pet a forever home!!!!

Blocks people on Facebook for asking honest questions. Seems like a sketchy business.

The staff are so helpful and friendly. They do the best they can to provide the best life for the animals while they are there and always make sure they go to great homes.

As a dog lover I support the kindness and love that the Boone Humane Society shows their animals.

You're able to enter three separate rooms to play with the cats they have there. Very friendly staff.

Great place with nice people

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff in a clean well-maintained facility.

The staff here care very much about the animals they shelter and many of them also foster animals they don't have room for at the shelter or that have special needs. On "Clear the Shelter" day on August 17th, they were all very excited to find forever homes for as many animals as they could, and judging from the number of families leaving with cats and dogs throughout the day, they had a tremendously successful day of that.

An excellent group of people doing excellent work. They made adoption simple and quick. The animals in the facility are fairly happy and appear to be well kept. We were allowed to spend as much time as we needed visiting the animals and the staff was always available to answer questions without hesitation

Got a pitbull named boogie. Great dog.very smart. Gets along with everyone. A real pleasure to own such a great dog. We love him to pieces!
