Incredibly disappointed and will be filing a formal BBB complaint. I had used them for years and was very happy. Have definitely gone down hill. Staff is RUDE-What’s left of them at least. The second to last visit I’d had them out left me with a wishy washy diagnosis and the vet lied. I was told at the end of that same visit that the follow up visit would not be billed and low and behold, they charged me. (The vet who performed the follow up visit did not come out only to care for my animal, they were already due to come out to the farm for other horses.) It is not my problem that your staff have different information regarding your business practices but considering the experience I’d had with the diagnosis, I would have gone and gotten a second opinion somewhere else and maybe even been able to fix the issue. There were multiple phone calls made to the practice, never got a call back to discuss billing, never received an actual bill either. All my bills over the years were prepaid in advance and aside from this one scenario, had no outstanding balances. My finances were always in good standings and have had no reason or inability to pay. When I would call, I would be told that money was owed for the follow up visit and that what the vet had said during the visit was wrong-I owed them for the visit. 7 months later they refuse to release my animal’s vaccination records. I’ve called numerous times requesting them. I never ever would have called them back out for a follow up if I knew I was going to be charged. As previously stated, I would have gone with a different provider to get a second opinion. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with these people. The care being provided is not the same as it used to be. ***update So they finally released my records but are still trying to hold me accountable for their staff’s errors. As if permanent damage due to the care provided (or lack thereof) by a vet that is no longer in their practice isn’t enough to deal with. I’d always had such a high regard and positive opinion for Duane and Bruce. This whole experience has been incredibly disappointing. I understand there are bad seeds out there and people make mistakes, but that is a staffing issue and should not be passed down to the consumer.

If you need an equine vet, look no further. they have the most amazing vets. Anytime we have needed them, they are there for our equine pets, and if they aren’t in office, they have after hour calls they make too. They genuinely care about your animal family and I trust them 100% with our horses.

Excellent service, compassion, caring. After 35+ years at another veterinary clinic I've found a vet service that genuinely cares and takes their time, answering all questions. I do not experience the conveyor belt "get in and get out after you pay exorbitant fees" that my former veterinary clinic had gradually reduced themselves to.

Dr. Donna McDavitt has taken care of our 7 yr. old rescue poodle/ terrier mix for the past year and half. Easily accessible at junction of St. Rd 32 and US 421 (Michigan Road), the clinic provides livestock, large animal and small animal veterinary medicine services. We have complete confidence in the McDavitt Veterinary Clinic.

I appreciate McDavitt Veterinary Clinic so much. We had and emergency situation and Dr Sara calmed and treated our 2 dogs and the rest of the family. I have to admit that this hasn’t been our go to vet in the past however, I wouldn’t hesitate to come here again. I might add that we had to wait on Dr Sara for an additional 30 minutes from the scheduled appointment, she was well worth the wait. Thanks so much on behalf of Sylvia and Zoey. Sincerely, Leslie Kingston

Dr. Harmon and Dr. McDavitt have been wonderful to all of my animals! I have brought my horses, dogs and cats to them for the last 3 years and they always go above and beyond for all of them! I will never take my pets anywhere else! The clinic is small enough that it feels like a family when you walk in the door but big enough to provide top of the line care!

Very upset with this company. We had an 18 year old dog suffering an open wound in need of emergency euthanasia a mile away from this clinic. We called and spoke with Christina, who promised to call us back immediately with information about the doctors availability. 30 minutes later we called again because she forgot to ask or even call us back in an EMERGENCY situation. There was a lot of attitude from this receptionist, which is sad when this was the vet our entire family used. She showed no sympathy and didn't seem to care at all. We ended up calling a company called "Lap of Love," who was understanding that this was an emergency, and they treated it as such. They came out within an hour after calling them, while McDavitt Veterinary Clinic couldn't even remember to call us back in a heartbreaking situation! I feel that this vet is all about the money, as this is the second time they have let us down in an emergency situation. They are quick to take your money when you bring your dog in, but the minute you need them they don't care.

Wonderful people and compassionate vets. Family practice with some very caring outside additions. For all your veterinary cares: dogs, cats, birds, pig, horses and other farm animals. It's way out of my way and district, but love the place and people and its's well worth the drive!

Words will never be enough to describe how thankful I am for this practice. I recently moved to the area and my horse had a catastrophic injury and I had not found a vet yet for routine things. I was stuck with no one to call. The staff was great at working with me through my distress and Dr. Mcdavitt came out right away and helped make my girls final moments the best they could be. The compassion he showed for me and my mare will be something I remember forever. Thank you guys so much for the amazing sympathy card and the kindness you showed me in my time of need. Please know that you have left a lasting impression and if I am ever to get another horse, you will have a life long client. Thank you again for everything.

We have been bringing our animals to the McDavitt Veterinary Clinic for more than a decade. They have always been professional, helpful, and most importantly kind. I wouldn't dare go anywhere else with our spoiled animals.

McDavitt is a great vet, have taken several cats that needed help and Dr. Jessica Harmon has always been very helpful & informative. We live in Noblesville & it's worth the drive to Zionsville for their services. Highly recommend them. Jeff Bell

I would absolutely recommend Dr. McDavitt for any of your Veterinary needs. I got a new to me 29 year old AQHA gelding on Sunday, January 1st. When he arrived he was having a little diarrhea. Rather than stress about it, or read advice …

Fantastic customer service and wonderful equine care! Cannot reccommend McDavitt enough. He is a 2nd generation equine vet and is also a horse owner. He has a calm wise demeanor with our Equines and will take the time to answer your questions.
